Two Petals of Demons

Chapter 17: Opening the Realm of Reality

This was the first time that I had seen Kore's servant being pushed to these limits of absurdity. Facing off alone against another high-level servant is no easy feat. Something like having two ships crash into each other after reaching top speed. Forces experienced by race drivers were being felt on these individual's bodies.

It was somehow a miracle to watch Radal not hit for any vital spots on Sakurai's body while managing to dodge the lethal attacks thrown towards him.

Kicks, punches, bindings, everything that Kore could think of was present at that moment.

Kore: What are you doing, my servant? You told me that you had lost all sense of rationality when I entered into your body. Therefore, you are just a mere puppet for my actions. You do not have anything to think about. Just follow my actions, dumb girl. Everything is already manipulated and predetermined for us. Therefore, let me take control of this battle for you.

Arawn: It seems that the insanity of this woman knows no bounds Radal. I need you to start focusing on the fight in front of you now. Forget about the other servant's condition. This rascal is trying to manipulate the energies to suit and favour herself. Buckle up, friend. I am going to try and see if I can change the tides of the battle.

"Then I trust you. Lead me to this victory, old friend of mine. I know that we've had our differences throughout this entire lifespan that I have held onto, but I know that you trust my actions, and I trust yours.", Radal reassured himself while continuing to face off against Sakurai.

Sakurai at this point was feeling her entire existence being shredded between a reality plane of existence and non-existence as she felt her entire body being taken over by gods themselves. Feeling powerless, she could do absolutely nothing. No one could even feel what she was feeling. No one could understand the same pain that she was going through. No one could even empathize. Forget the sympathy, she cannot even share this pain with anyone.

Such is the rule for sacrifice…

Ever wonder what is the price that one pays to attain such powers from beyond the "heavens"?

It is not as simple as it seems. Sometimes some individuals want to attain the truth of the world for some reason, they are approached by a force beyond their comprehension.

Then, there is a simple sacrifice that has to be made.

Calling it a simple sacrifice would be an understatement. Most of the gods do not even consider these species to be on an equal par with them. Some of them treat their servants like disposable toys that they use in this war of experimentation. The planet is one giant coverup for testing the mystical and heavenly energies that are present at the conjecture of one of the points of the universe.

Presenting the battle that occurred at the Fortress, it caused a massive ripple in the energy fabric. The tear was enough to convert this poor planet into something that is out of an evil scientist's lair. Nothing on that planet seems to ever be in a constant state of stability. Everything is purely chaotic.

Anubis: Wake up. Before these servants realize that you are not gravely injured, I need you to start finding a way to get us out of this massive hell hole that we've been put into. Start by checking the edges of the bubble and using the sand of the ship, to erode the bubble's layers to get out of this plane of existence.

"Understood… but, why are you so nice to me. You barely know me. I just use your powers for my pleasure." Gil told his god.

Anubis: This is not the time for such dumb questions, my child. Now I have a lot of patience, but it is not for you to test it. I need you to completely place your faith in me and face the reality of the situation. You are not normal. You are practically insane. You are Gil, the Don. Therefore, I will not accept failure as a result. I want you to win this. FOR ME. FOR YOU. FOR THE END.

Gil calmly got up and was immediately confronted by an enraged Sakurai who left the heat of the battle upon realizing that Anubis' servant had reawakened.

Anubis: This damn queen is going to be annoying to deal with. Why would you not let us be alone, you wretched ruler? I do not need another headache to deal with when I am forced with this hand at the present moment.

Kore: You need to stay out of this, you damn mutt. Not knowing when to poke your face into matters that do not concern you, nor do you know the true reason behind the true failure of the second generation of this entire experiment. You do not deserve to live to tell the tale.

Arawn: These idiots will keep arguing with each other. Quick, servant, use this distraction to absolutely-

Before the Celtic God could finish that statement, he witnessed two heads turn towards him with glowing eyes. And this time, the voice he heard from their mouths was not the people's voices, but the gods that they served.

Anubis: GUARDIAN OF DEATH!

Persephone: QUEEN OF THE UNDERWORLD!

The throne emerged from the ground and the massive ship erupted once more with the sands of time completely covering the lower part of the battlefield. Something that no one should witness, was the pure disregard for the time that was being manipulated inside the bubble. No one realizes the true magnitude of the situation that was presented before them.

Within the next frame of a few nanoseconds, the two seemed to have been completely consumed by their godly figures. The ship began charging forward, and the throne made with the hands of the souls in the underworld, began to dart.

But

What is this?

I thought that they would charge towards the Servant of Arawn, however both were going to opposite sides to reach the edge of the bubble. Wanting the shatter the plane of existence in the bubble and take all three of them down together, Radal had to act extremely quickly to make sure that all three of them did not lose their lives to the abyssal void.

Arawn: Open the gates. FOR I AM A KING. AND I WILL NOT STAND DOWN IN THIS SHOWDOWN TO LOSE THIS POWERFUL SERVANT!

With that statement, a burning red moon appeared in the sky of the entire bubble. Completely changing the atmosphere of the battlefield from a sand-crusted battlefield into an almost molten floor. The bubble became extremely weak at this point.

Outside the bubble:

Nanami noticed the ripples that were caused in the bubble and thought that it would begin to shatter at any point, and decided to stand guard to ensure that nothing occurred to it.

In the exact split second Nanami decides to check up on Kars-Nas, a familiar voice comes down from the sky and shatters the bubble in front of their eyes.

"Thanks for the treatment fellas, but I do not require it. After all, Bael would be damn pissed if I succumbed to such a small injury. Let us go, Wellester!" Allastor laughed maniacally while seeing the content of the entire bubble suddenly fill from the world of the plane of existence to the reality plane where the planet was situated.

From the Sands of Time and the Ship to Death.

From the Hands of the Thrones of the Underworld.

From the Blood Moon and the Throne of the Hellscape Hunt.

The contents spilling out, The Blade and The Smile left the field.

Radal managed to get a glimpse of the two of them before the two departed, and he could not believe his eyes.

"MY GLEE!", he exclaimed.

Nanami stood in his defensive stand after seeing the three individuals completely powered up.

"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE? WHO ARE YOU???" Nanami questioned Hunter.

Radal was pretty much done at this point and wanted to end the battle at this point. Lunging towards Nanami, he uttered a singular word.

"H U N T"
