dwqkopkwrkty.

Nickname is Wiles from TEAM SoSo.

Since I queued up right away, I found myself teamed up with the supporter I had faced as an enemy in the previous match.

For me, it couldn’t have been better.

‘It would be great if all five players on the opposing team were pros.’

That way, silly accusations of abusage wouldn’t even dare to pop up.

Of course, there would still be some fools who continue to make baseless claims… but that’s something the team management would handle.

The sensitive issue of abusage certainly wouldn’t go unnoticed by the management.

The ban/pick phase has concluded.

[Allied / Enemy]

Top: Rakan / Nyar

Jungle: Gwen / Xin Zhao

Mid: Sett / Renekton

Bot: Samira / Jiksoo

Support: Nautilus / Leona

Coincidentally, our supporter picked Nautilus again.

Everything was aligning perfectly for me.

[Please choose a skin!]

The game has started.

MAX Lineover – Leona

As always, the IDs of the opposing team felt familiar.

‘All of them are pros, that’s great.’

While it’s quite rare to have all 5 pros in a celestial-tier game, this match felt particularly special.

Moreover, it wasn’t just for that reason.

‘We meet again.’

The enemy mid Renekton.

If my memory serves me right, he was Nightmare, the mid laner from GRS.

It was quite a coincidence since I had inadvertently caused him some worry not too long ago.

‘Still, I have no intention of going easy on him.’

Right now, I’ve got my own reasons to deal with.

-Welcome to Summoner’s Rift.

‘Let’s see…’

The composition of the opposing team is somewhat close to a fireball composition.

A combination that quickly snowballs with strong early engagement and lane dominance.

Of course, to be fair, our team composition is no weakling either.

Both Rakan and Sett are champions that are strong in team fights, if not the strongest.

The problem is my pick of Gwen.

As a newly released champion often used primarily in the lane, Gwen only recently started showing up in the jungle.

Thus, calling her a standard pick for the jungle is a bit tricky at this stage.

The main reason lies in her inherently weak ganking potential, something that a jungler must possess.

Therefore, Gwen inevitably forces her teammates to make sacrifices.

She’s what you’d call a full-camp jungler.

Despite that, the reason I’m using Gwen is clear.

Her growth potential is literally insane.

Once Gwen gets a decent amount of farm, her damage is that of an absolute battlefield dominating machine.

However, picking Gwen in the jungle comes with its risks.

Choosing such an unpredictable pick in solo queue is a gamble I take.

‘It’s time to show what I’ve got.’

One of the biggest misconceptions people have is that the player who farms the best carries the game.

While that’s often true, there are times when it isn’t.

That’s exactly the case for a mindless full-camp jungler.

The reason I picked Gwen is also tied to that.

Not just to break the game from the beginning, but to create a scenario where I ultimately carry after a fierce battle.

In this game, I will play in a way that’s easily recognizable to anyone.

No need for flashy plays.

Just eat and grow well.

Amidst the loud pinging sounds, I stepped out of the fountain.

[Victory]

Game time was 37 minutes.

Despite being on the longer side for my average game time lately, it was unavoidable.

Growth takes time, after all.

[Gwen – Level 18]

[Xin Zhao – Level 13]

When the game ended, there was a 5-level difference between the junglers of both teams.

Even though my KDA was 4/0/6 and I hadn’t engaged much, the overwhelming difference in growth was clear enough for everyone to notice the jungle disparity.

“Phew.”

I casually queued up again and took a peek at the community.

-Jungle 5 level gap lol is this real?

-Prisoner! Prisoner! Prisoner! Prisoner! Prisoner! Prisoner! Prisoner! Prisoner! Prisoner! Prisoner! Prisoner!

-Wow, he carried this game like this lol

-Is this… a 1900-point jungler?

-Did anyone see the last team fight? Going in 1:5 and bouncing back was crazy…

-Soon Gals rush in

-Did Soon Gals really think they lost because of the supporter, Rainbow and Yoon-ki? lol

-To fact-check this, Yoon-ki and Rainbow were getting decimated every time they faced Prisoner before

-I admit, as a Soon Gal, Prisoner >>> Yoon-ki

-No, Prisoner >>> Rainbow + Yoon-ki, with that Soon Gal act from Red Dog

A resounding victory.

Naturally, the abusage rumors that were taken lightly from the start disappeared just like that.

‘Well, they were ridiculous claims from the beginning.’

However, I’ve seen countless pro players suffer from such nonsensical accusations without addressing them.

There was no need to let it ride, knowing that.

-But that Nautilus is still trashing in this game lol. If it weren’t for Prisoner, they would’ve been wrecked.

-I agree, I agree.

-If we switch supporters and fight again, who knows? Agreed?

The opinions on Wiles were still not very positive, but at least the suspicion of him abusing the game had vanished, so that was something.

‘There’s no loyalty to care about that much.’

Of course, strictly speaking, Nautilus’s poor performance was partly due to my mindless full-camp jungling.

But, a pro should prove themselves through performance and skill, shouldn’t they?

And shortly after, I achieved two more consecutive victories.

That’s a total of four straight wins today.

‘Not long now.’

Only a few steps left until I hit 2000 points.

Rainbow should be aware of this situation as well.

‘Let’s see if he can stop me.’

*

Lying in bed, Ryu Jin-hyuk felt unusually unable to sleep.

Eventually, he couldn’t take it anymore and turned on Red TV.

[Cheering for Jungle. Can Prisoner hit 2000 points?]

There, Jjuhsim, a master of Lee Sin, was spectating Prisoner.

‘Of course he’s playing.’

After all, no matter what anyone says, Prisoner is currently the talk of the Legends of League scene.

With audiences that ignore anything to catch a glimpse, internet broadcasters wouldn’t miss this.

As Ryu Jin-hyuk watched Prisoner through his smartphone screen, he felt a fire ignite within him.

‘Prisoner.’

And……

Morning broke.

Waking up suddenly with his smartphone on his face, Ryu Jin-hyuk was shocked.

‘…1940 points? No way.’

Prisoner had reached 1941 points.

At this pace, hitting 2000 today wouldn’t be surprising.

And Ryu Jin-hyuk had no intention of letting that happen.

‘…I checked yesterday, but with any reasonable condition, I can’t stop him. I need to approach this as if it’s a tournament.’

Legends of League is a game that demands not just mental strength but also depletes physical stamina significantly.

Especially if it’s a tight game like team scrims.

As a current professional gamer, Ryu Jin-hyuk can only queue up for solo rank after all team schedules are done.

Naturally, he’d be in a state of extreme fatigue both physically and mentally.

Though it may sound like a cowardly excuse, Ryu Jin-hyuk believed that if he were in top condition, he could definitely beat Prisoner.

‘Today’s the day.’

After making that decision, Ryu Jin-hyuk knocked on the coach’s office door early in the morning.

“Coach, can I skip scrims today? I feel like my condition isn’t great.”

“Hm… really? Got it. It’s actually good timing. I was thinking about bringing Yoon-soo into scrims.”

Choi Yoon-soo had spent quite a while as a trainee mid-laner and seemed to be a player with decent potential.

“Thank you. I’ll be on my way.”

“Alright, take a good rest today.”

Worried there might be any further questions, Ryu Jin-hyuk added one more thing.

“Oh, and I’m just going to rest. I plan to play some solo queue.”

The coach chuckled lightly.

“Is it because of Prisoner?”

“…Did you know?”

“It’s my job to listen to your concerns and manage you. How could I not know?”

Guess I was more transparent than I thought.

“Well, just for today…”

“Yeah, do as you please today. It’s not like it’s the middle of the season. If things weigh on your mind, you can’t perform your best. You know that better than anyone, right?”

“Yes. Thank you.”

“Jin-hyuk.”

“Yes, coach.”

“Win. You know that, right?”

It was a strange remark.

But Ryu Jin-hyuk took it at face value without overthinking it.

“Yes.”
