Chapter 494 Elite Boss Meeting
"President Chu, I have to fly to Britain early tomorrow morning for a very important meeting, so I'll have my attorney team handle the contract signing."
"However, it's rare to meet someone I can get along with so well as President Chu. I don't have many friends in Hua Country to converse with. Now that it's still early, if President Chu isn't busy, how about we find a place for a drink?"
With a net worth in the trillions, Han Zhengping extended the invitation over the phone. Chu Mo lifted his wrist to check the time, the Patek Philippe's hour hand inset with fifty-six gems had just pointed to eleven o'clock.
Originally, Chu Mo had planned to visit the Guangsha Bodyguard Company and then rest, but thinking of the extraordinary identity of the person on the other end of the phone, he did not refuse. He nodded lightly and then said with a smile in his voice,
"If that's the case, then I shall join President Han tonight 'til we're merry and drunk. I'll see you in a bit!"
After hanging up the phone, Chu Mo put his phone away, completely ignoring the middle-aged, portly man in front of him, whose expression was filled with doubtful astonishment. Chu Mo turned to Fang Nianhan across from him and said with a smile,
"Nianhan, as you can see, I have an appointment later and can't stay with you. We'll leave the company matters as they are for now. I'll start with an investment of ten billion in Guangsha Company. You'll remain the chairman, and I will not interfere with corporate management. You still have the final say. By the way, doesn't your Fang family have a 'Grandmaster'?
You could ask for their assistance!"
As he finished speaking, Chu Mo didn't linger. He then turned and walked towards the company's main entrance.
Fang Nianhan, finally snapping back to reality, showed a flash of joy in her eyes. She quickly caught up to Chu Mo's pace, exclaiming with delight on her face,
"Young Master Chu, let me escort you!"
Chu Mo did not say much. His entourage walked out of the bodyguard company's doors, leaving behind the pale-faced, portly middle-aged man with an appearance of wanting to say something but hesitating.
Without taking the private elevator, the group waited a moment in front of the lifts before making their way down to the lobby. By the time they arrived on the ground floor, Chu Mo noticed there were far fewer clients in the lobby.
The time was already eleven o'clock, but for young people who love the nightlife, everything was just getting started.
Exiting the luxurious lobby to the front entrance, several luxury cars were already parked in front, awaiting them. Chu Mo didn't rush into the vehicles. He took one last look back at the Gemini Towers Building in front of him—a synonym for opulence and luxury, ranking among the top five buildings in Capital City.
There were two towers here, one was a commercial building and the other was entirely the headquarters of Zhengyuan Group. Once Chu Mo secured the Guang'an Building, and Zhengyuan Group vacated, another entire tower would be vacant. Chu Mo was momentarily uncertain; what would he do with this building in the future?
However, after a moment, he shook his head, casting aside the annoyance. Deciding what to do with the building later was not as important as securing it now.
Chu Mo bent over and sat in the rear seat of a sedan, as his bodyguards got into their vehicles. He rolled down the window and waved to Fang Nianhan, who had come to see him off.
Once the car started, Chu Mo left under the respectful farewell of the Capital City's belle, as the motorcade slowly merged into the traffic flow.
Fang Nianhan, although appearing quite arrogant, was essentially an unworldly young lady without much cunning. It was easy to control her.
It was for this reason that Chu Mo had entrusted her with the management of the entire company. Ten billion of investment was neither small nor insignificant to Chu Mo—merely a drop in the bucket—but for Fang Nianhan, it was a chance that could change her fate. Even the Fang family would have to take it seriously.
In the end, what Chu Mo truly valued was the 'Grandmaster' of the Fang family. Otherwise, someone like Fang Nianhan would not have caught his second glance.
His phone buzzed with a vibration. It was a message from Han Zhengping with the address. Chu Mo relayed the location to the driver in the front seat, and the motorcade turned left at the next intersection, speeding towards their destination.
The night-lit Capital City was no longer congested, and the motorcade traveled unhindered, quickly arriving in front of a stylish bar.
A series of luxury cars came to a halt, and Chu Mo stepped out of the rear seat. He looked up to see the large sign of Dynasty Bar before him.
At this hour, the bar was at its busiest and noisiest. He walked towards the entrance, where an attentive waiter had already run up to greet him. Chu Mo didn't bother with small talk; he directly inquired,
"I have an appointment; has President Han arrived?"
Hearing this, the young waiter immediately bowed and said,
"Mr. Chu, I presume? President Han has been waiting inside. Please follow me."
The moment he entered the bar, the deafening music and dazzling array of lights gave one a dizzying sensation.
Chu Mo suddenly realized he was becoming more and more immune to such atmospheres. Even when he used to visit bars by himself in the past, he no longer felt the freshness and anticipation for such places, gradually losing interest in these noisy environments.
Compared to this, Chu Mo preferred to visit a quiet restaurant or enjoy an afternoon tea.
But since he was here for an appointment, Chu Mo had no choice but to put aside the thumping music that was irking him. Suppressing the irritation within, he followed the waiter through the crowd, soon spotting two familiar figures in the central booth of the hall.
