Trembling At A High Altitude

"Desert Island Fog" had officially wrapped up filming.

Rising from the transport capsules, the actresses were all visibly excited.

For their first performance to be such a thrilling, roller-coaster of a plot, it really was somewhat taxing for them.

Fortunately, in the end, everyone made it back alive without too much danger.

Moreover, throughout the process, they hardly did anything themselves, nor faced any life-or-death situations, simply watching as Li Teng busied himself, and then they won by lying low.

When Li Teng led them out, they were all chattering and calling him a senior, hoping Li Teng would stay with their crew, continue to lead them, and let them keep winning by doing nothing.

Li Teng ignored them.

He wasn't their sugar daddy, and there was no substantial benefit for him, so he wasn't going to do something that was all work with no appreciation.

Of course, he would still try his best to take care of his sister-in-law Liu Yin within his abilities.

Two directors were waiting in the rest room.

One was the director of their own crew, Xia Zhihui, and the other was Li Teng's director, Yuan Qiang.

After the actors came out, they didn't stay in the rest room.

The two directors led them straight out of the building and onto a bus.

The bus meandered through Film and Television City, finally stopping near a little Western-style house on the street.

This was the check-in point for Xia Zhihui's crew.

Since this was an official crew, not the kind of Minor Special Engagement that Liu Shiyuan had found for Li Teng before, normal backstage communication was necessary.

Li Teng thought he would leave after waking up from the transport capsule, but Yuan Qiang came over, and it seemed that both crews were going to have backstage communication together.

Director Yuan, you're doing quite well in this regard too," Xia Zhihui gave a few polite words to Yuan Qiang.

After the mutual business flattery concluded, they swiftly moved past the first segment of performance critique.

The second part was the wax-sealing ceremony, but since no actor died in this performance, it was also skipped.

The third stage was the points distribution session, and Li Teng got 20 points, while everyone else only got 10 points.

Then came the fourth stage, the question-and-answer session. Li Teng had previously thought that as a Minor Special Engagement he wouldn't have this session, but it turned out to be a joint performance, and he was the only Minor Special Engagement actor present. All questions were directed at him to answer.

Seven questions later, Li Teng ended up with 16 points, which he found quite satisfying.

He now had a total of 36 points in his account.

The fifth stage was the lottery for newcomers, and just as Li Teng expected, all new actors drew the full waiver.

Liu Yin finally let go of her concerns; Li Teng had indeed not lied to her. If she'd known earlier, she would have bought more items and made more purchases.

The sixth stage involved handling additional affairs.

"I have a few pieces of good news to announce, some beyond my expectations..." Xia Zhihui began to declare as she looked at the messages coming into her phone.

"'Deserted Island Mysteries' has been selected for the Film and Television City's excellent film exhibition this term, and Li Teng has received an additional reward of 10 points, while the other actors have received an additional 5 points."

The balance of Li Teng's points account reached 46.

"The script for 'Deserted Island Mysteries' has received a nomination for Best Script of the month. This crappy movie... um... I don't mean that, it looks like the script is not bad, I should take a good look at it again later." Xia Zhihui's expression seemed puzzled; it was clear that 'Deserted Island Mysteries' was not her preferred genre, yet it had still been nominated.

He will compete with seven other nominated newcomers in the Best Newcomer performance competition held by Film and Television City the day after tomorrow."

"If he can eventually win the title in the Best Newcomer competition, he will be titled Best Newcomer of the area and receive an additional reward of 100 points, as well as a watch reward. If he already owns a watch, he will receive a mystery APP as a reward."

"Let's all congratulate him! And hope he continues to excel and claims the Best Newcomer title in the upcoming performance competition!" Yuan Qiang made a clapping gesture.

The actresses applauded enthusiastically; to them, Li Teng's nomination for Best Newcomer was well-deserved. A man as handsome, wise, brave, upright, trustworthy, sunny, optimistic, strong, mature, steady, sincere, generous, humorous, resolute, and calm as him should indeed receive such an honor.

"What will the Best Newcomer competition involve?" Li Teng, hearing about the 100 points reward and the mystery APP, was naturally very interested.

The issues with drinking water and food on the pillar were completely resolved.
