Bald Qiang and his party exchanged glances and then rushed in as well.

"Old Monk, should we take the Fire-Resistant Pill?" Bear Big asked Bald Qiang.

"Let's go in and see first. We'll discuss it if we see any signs," Bald Qiang shook his head, wary of being tricked.

Li Teng also hung back and followed the seven inside.

"That foolish kid followed again, without a Fire-Resistant Pill, he's probably going to burn to death," Han Xin commented as he glanced back.

"Once he's scorched, he'll learn to retreat from difficulties," Li Bai responded to Han Xin.

"He might turn to ashes before he figures it out," Xiang Yu laughed heartily.

Li Bai took out a long sword, leading the way and effortlessly slaying some wild ghostly entities.

As the killing went on, ghostly entities engulfed in flames of Hellfire became more and more frequent.

The terrain inside the cave kept descending, and before long, the area ahead grew increasingly hot.

An odd wind carrying the high temperatures of the subterranean magma blew in another direction, indicating the presence of another exit, which explained why the heat wasn't felt at the original entrance.

Bald Qiang and the others immediately each took a Fire-Resistant Pill and then followed Li Bai and his two companions.

Cui Hua took out the Nether Cold Pearl to see if it could help with the fire resistance.

Without the proper Cultivation Technique to activate it, it was ineffective, so she had to give up.

The Evil Ghost beneath the ground was clearly much more formidable than the one they had encountered on the surface.

The reason was simple, the surface Evil Ghost possessed the Ghostly Frost System skill but was born in the wrong place, having not found a nether cold area suited to unleash the full power of its abilities, and thus its strength was greatly diminished.
