NOVEL NEXT Chapter 3: Growing stronger
I kept staring at my status window. The class which i was assigned to was very confusing. As a 21st centurian, i was very much aware of the word necromancer and knew what that mean but i was a sapling which was growing and what do i (a plant)
could possibly use the necromancer class.
I know necromancers control the beings that killed them but what can i even do. I couldnt even move a millimeter, inch even looks far away.
INCREASE MOBILITY STAT TO BE ABLE TO MOVE
The system prompt notified me. I already could figure out from the words that were written beside my mobility stat that i needed to increase it in order to show little movement. But i was a sapling....
I was sad. I couldnt be happy. I wanted to know whether others were also so unlucky to be transmigrated into bodies other than a bipedal being or human. I didnt even know whether this planet was inhabited by a species with similar physique and mental abilities as a human.
ONLT MAGICAL BEASTS INHABIT THIS PLANET.
The system sounded again. This time it shocked. There are only beasts here capable of killing and we were the only beings able to think.
MAGICAL BEASTS GAIN ABILITY TO THINK AFTER GOING THROUGH 2ND EVOLUTION.
It means that there are beasts able to think and act as humans. Some beasts have the ability to decide if something was good or bad for them and act accordingly i thought.
NO. NOT ANY BEAST THAT HAS GONE 2ND EVOLUTION.
AS OF NOW ONLY BEASTS THAT COMPLETED 1ST EVOLUTION ARE FOUND HERE .
That means we are safe for some time. My mind drifted away and landed at the question was i only the unlucky one.
COULD NOT FIND POSSIBLE ANSWERS.
CANNOT DETERMINE LUCKY OR UNLUCKY WITH GIVEN DATA.
The system didnt know the criteria with which one could be determined lucky or unlucky. It could also be said that the system didnt follow human standard of luck.
I rephrased my question and asked "Am i the only one converted to a tree?"
YES.....ONLY ONE PERSON IS TRANSFORMED INTO TREE.
F*ck....I cussed. I dont remember being so unlucky.
If i was the only one transformed into a tree then does that mean only i the necromancer class.
YES.....ONE CLASS IS ASSIGNED TO ONE SOUL.
ONLY AFTER THE BODY THAT THE SOUL RESIDES DIES OR GETS KILLED....THE CLASS IS ASSIGNED TO NEW SOUL.
So i was stucked with such a op class in this only magical beast residing planet with a plant body. I cussed so many times. I am sure that i had never cussed so much in my entire 16 years of life.
I need to grow stronger... this thought stuck to me for a while. I decided to look at my status window again.

My exp bar was growing without me doing anything. I tried to remember but I did nothing but stay in a place and just making myself familiar with this planet. I was confused.
THE USER IS A SAPLING.....THE EXP GAIN IS FROM TAKING IN MINERALS FROM THE PLANET.....
I focused on my roots and surely i could feel something magical flowing through my roots and going all over my body. The more I focused on my roots, the amount of mineral intake increased. As soon as i took my focus off the amount decreased.
Normally i could intake about 0.9 exp points per hour but on my focused state i could take about 1.4 exp points per hour. It was not a large increase but it could affect me a lot as 0.9 per hour intake could take about 11 hours to accumulate 10 exp points but 1.4 per hour means 8 hours of focused state to accumulate 10 exp points.
I started to keep all my thoughts aside and focus on intake of minerals through my roots.
