Treasure Hunting System: The Ocean Conquerer

Chapter 183: Set Sail! Departure!

Alka gazed at the scene between the two gigantic stone pillars.

The dim world, filled with lightning, thunder, and raging waves, was akin to Hell.

The most severe sea storms in their world were merely comparable to this.

And perhaps this was the norm there.

They would charge into that storm and then head towards the boundless world.

Gazing at the scene ahead, Alka turned to look at his companions behind him.

"Everyone! Are you ready?"

Everyone stared at the world of churning waves.

No one answered.

A flickering Silver Light emanated from the crow's nest, where Chadite stretched out her right hand, raising it in a clenched fist.

The flickering Silver Light shone from her right fist, representing her determination.

Pororo simply spread his arms wide and laughed heartily. "This is the place I've always wanted to go! To charge through this fierce storm, to conquer it—this is the Ocean's trial!"

"Then what are we waiting for? Charge!"

Jason stepped forward, his face alight with excitement. He raised his Vibrating Stone Gun and fired a shot into the sky.

The others followed suit, extending their arms and clenching their fists.

The light of their individual Magic Power emanated from their right fists.

"Charge!"

"HAHAHA...!"

Alka couldn't help but burst into laughter, his blood boiling with excitement.

He thrust his right hand high into the air and roared, "Set sail!"

With his command, the sails automatically unfurled. The emblem on the blue canvas—a silver Compass with a golden eye—emitted a dazzling light, shining with incredible brilliance at this moment.

"Depart!"

The Sound of Dawn surged forward under full sail. The Spells inscribed across the entire ship flared to life, and the vessel rapidly gained speed.

The bow of the ship cleaved through the waves ahead, sending plumes of spray arcing to either side and leaving a trail of white foam in its wake.

Rousing music emanated from the ship itself. The Sound of Dawn sensed the crew's emotions, and the music swelled in harmony with their fervor.

As the rousing music intensified, Julia, standing at the bow with her hands raised high, began to sing. Her voice, like Magic, pierced through the air and spread outwards.

The Dawn Sound, carrying everyone on board, glided past the other teams who were still waiting and deliberating nearby, sailing resolutely onward.

Everyone heard the song carried from the ship, heard the uplifting music.

At that moment, watching the vessel advance, it seemed like a Warrior charging into battle—relentless and undeterred.

A surge of emotion coursed through them, their blood pounding in their veins.

"What are you all still waiting for?"

"Set sail! Depart!"

"OOOOOH!"

Inspired by Alka and his crew, countless ships behind them erupted in shouts and began to advance, following in their wake.

One after another, the majority of the vessels began to follow.

Nearby, scribes on the Church's ships faithfully documented everything.

Yet, even so, a significant number of ships remained in place, their crews engrossed in final contemplation, making their ultimate decision.

"May you all have an Eternal journey! May you never sink!"

As the blessings from the Church's ships echoed across the water, Alka's vessel, the Dawn Sound, was the first to pass through the shimmering membrane ahead.

Upon passing through the membrane, everyone on board felt as if they had arrived in another world.

The roar of gales, the crash of colossal waves, and the clap of thunder filled this new world.

The entire ship began to pitch and roll violently with the surging waves, and everyone on board struggled to keep their footing.

Torrential rain hammered down on the deck, instantly drenching everyone's clothes.

"Hold steady! Don't get thrown overboard!"

Fortunately, they had already secured all loose objects on the ship.

The pitching and rolling, though violent, were not unmanageable for a ship like theirs.

However, the relentless gales and towering waves constantly drove the ship forward; everything in this maelstrom propelled them onward.

There was no turning back now.

In such conditions, the ship's speed paradoxically increased.

A colossal wave suddenly surged from beneath, hoisting the Sound of Dawn high into the air before it plunged back into the churning water.

Countless ships followed them through the membrane, beginning to face their first trial.

As a monstrous wave crashed down, the first casualty appeared: a damaged ship whose crew members screamed as they were swept into the water.

Its great mast snapped, and its deck was smashed open by the immense force of the wave.

Yet, many other ships managed to follow Alka's lead, steadily progressing through the tempest.

Thunder rumbled incessantly. Suddenly, a bolt of lightning struck a ship's mast, and the mast and sails instantly erupted in flames.

The fire spread with terrifying speed across the entire vessel, a blaze that neither the howling wind nor the crashing waves could extinguish.

Soon, the burning ship was engulfed by the waves and vanished without a trace.

More ships activated their automatic Shields, deflecting the bolts of Thunder that occasionally struck their vessels.

The Dawn Sound did likewise, its own Shield shimmering into existence.

Alka, who had secured himself to the foremast, spotted Pororo at the bow and shouted over the storm, "Pororo, what are you doing?!"

Pororo stood at the very prow of the ship, entirely unsecured, his arms spread wide as he laughed boisterously into the wind.

Hearing Alka's shout, he boomed in reply, "This is the Ocean's trial! I will conquer this storm!"

As he spoke, blue Spell runes spread from his rugged arm, crawling across his back.

Streams of water began to coalesce and swirl around his body.

His aura surged, climbing ever higher.
