Treasure Hunting System: The Ocean Conquerer

Chapter 180 Arriving at the Door_3

"Perhaps they're favored by the Holy Mother Church, or maybe they're a team under the Holy Mother Church's command. There are very few crew members on that ship. Are they taking the elite route? They look like a Treasure Hunting Team."

Alka and the others had only just arrived, but these other teams had already more or less figured out their background and situation. Any team capable of reaching this place and venturing into the unknown possessed both strength and wisdom. They had all made thorough preparations long ago. And they were all seasoned veterans of the sea, having sailed long enough to gather a wealth of information from appearances alone.

"Should we go ashore?" Jason asked, looking at the island not far away.

Alka, beside him, shook his head. "No, we'll just wait here and ensure we are fully prepared."

They had just circled the island, roughly observing its current situation. Many of the ship's crews chose to stay on board, while some had set up simple tents on the island for rest. One could even see an open area on the island where these people had spontaneously organized a simple market. However, it was very small and extremely crude.

For these preparations, it was safe to say they had spent nearly all their Golden Sail. The supplies on their ship were also crucial and couldn't be traded, so going ashore served little purpose. After all, everyone who had come here was well-prepared. All that remained was to wait quietly during this final month. This was also the choice most people made. After all, the destination they were sailing towards was unknown.

Thus, the Dawn Sound remained anchored quietly in the waters surrounding the island, awaiting the final moment.

...

During this final month of waiting, Alka had been staying in his manufacturing hall. He planned to complete the construction of Lucilia's puppet body before they entered the Endless Sea, and that was precisely what he was doing.

Inside the manufacturing hall, Alka's Hand of Precision constantly emitted a glow. In a basket beside him, numerous puppets were piled high. There were various models, and a quick glance revealed at least several dozen.

Lucilia's doll sat atop these puppets, fitting clothes onto them. Beside her, there was even a small box filled with various miniaturized sewing tools suitable for Lucilia. Next to the doll lay a blueprint covered with various clothing designs. The signature in the lower-left corner of the design blueprint clearly indicated it was Chadite's masterpiece. She wasn't just talented at drawing maps; she clearly had a knack for fashion design too.

The reason Lucilia was doing this was that tests had confirmed: puppets constructed using Blood and Flesh Veins could not magically generate clothing. Lucilia had to prepare them herself; naturally, Chadite was also helping with the preparations.

Just then, another puppet flew in an arc from Alka's workstation, landing in the pile next to Lucilia. Hearing the thud, Lucilia merely glanced over, apparently accustomed to it, before turning her attention back to the sewing work at hand.

These discarded puppets were actually usable by her, but Alka had an inexplicable obsession with achieving perfection in his creations. He couldn't tolerate any significant flaws, so he was constantly making minor adjustments and repairs. This also meant that the main construction of the puppet was long finished; Alka was now merely handling the finishing touches.

He could still be heard muttering to himself, "No, no, using Pearls for eyes isn't suitable. Special Magic Diamonds are needed."

After muttering this, Alka fiddled with his Pocket Ring, trying to find suitable materials inside. Once he found the materials he needed, he controlled the Hand of Precision to meticulously embed two Magic Diamonds into the puppet's eyes. The puppet visibly twitched twice, and the flesh hidden within its wooden body began to squirm. However, the puppet's heart had been modified. It no longer used a heart of flesh but had been transformed into an Energy Core meticulously constructed with Spells. This technique originated from Bobby and Gami—one Alka had secretly learned back at the Great Cathedral.

Only when this entire process was complete did Alka finally break into a smile, wiping the sweat from his face with his sleeve. He held up the puppet in his hand, unable to suppress a laugh.

"It's done, Lucilia! Come over. This puppet is perfect! Come and try it on, quick, quick, quick!"

At Alka's urging, Lucilia tossed what she was holding onto the pile of puppets and bounded over in a few quick leaps.
