Chapter 3: Train Disruption (2) Diligent Girl POV
“Oww” I winced out from slight pain.
I winced having hit my leg against the chair from being pushed by a boy I hadn’t recognised before, after me and my childhood friend tried to get some seats with our friends from middle school and even longer than that.
“Who does that guy think he is!” The tanned girl snapped out loud.
My friends helped me up from the falling onto my other friend’s laps that was in the opposite seats where I got pushed over.
“Yeah! What the hell!”
“She only asked nicely, and he just snapped at her when Mio was trying to be nice!”
My friend started calling out to each other whilst looking over in the direction of where the boy went. But the boy didn’t seem to notice or care whatsoever, especially after what had just happened between them.
“Hey. You ok Mi?” My childhood friend calls out to me.
My friend had held out her hand and helped me up to my feet whilst holding onto my hand and helping me to the free seat the guy had vacated unwillingly as I limped slightly.
“Yes. I’m ok. Thanks Fi.” I say to my friend with a slight smile.
I look to my friend ‘Fiona’ who I had been friend with since I was little and call her ‘Fi’. Whilst she looked a little worried that I might’ve been hurt by the push from the guy who looked extremely rough. As she sat in the seat next to me on the aisle section.
We called each other by our nicknames we gave each other since we were little as she calls me ‘Mi’, short for ‘Mio’.
“That’s good. I’m glad you’re ok. But who the hell does he think he is.” Fiona mutters out irritatingly.
My friend had grinded her teeth whilst spouting these words whilst I noticed her still shivering a little from the fear of his outburst at her. I then replied to her slightly admonishing my friend who moves without thinking most of the time.
“Well. We are partly at fault for demanding the seats and you shouldn’t have grabbed him so roughly.” I say admonishing her actions.
“B-but he was being rude to you Mio. You asked nicely and he just brushed you off.” She stuttered slightly at thinking I was telling her off.
I continued talking to Fi throughout the rest of the train journey, but my other friends were all on her side and spouting horrible things about the guy and of course I had bad thoughts towards the guy who could’ve been amicable about the rejection of the seats but was extremely rude. Our minds were soon wiping him from our minds not knowing that the school he is heading to is our own prestigious Obsidian Academy.
