Transmigrated: The Lycan King’s Pet

Chapter 202 A Madman’s Purposal

"Alpha Allison of the Crescent Moon pack?" Lucas tilted his head, his brows furrowed in confusion. "Aren't you supposed to marry the Lycan King?"

Allison scoffed. "Not anymore."

"How can I believe you? What if you were sent here by him?" His claws slowly elongated from his fingers.

"I'm disappointed in you, Alpha Lucas." She walked closer to him, standing face to face with him. "I thought your intel network was the best. How come you don't know I had already fallen out with the Bloodshade pack?"

"But I don't trust you." A growl rumbled from his chest.

Silence fell on the room, it was so thick that the sound of a fall would be heard. Allison turned to the bone witch, but she remained unbothered.

Seeing there was no one to stand for her, she turned to Lucas. "What must I do to earn your trust?"

A glint of mischief flickered through Lucas' eyes. "I want you to attack the Bloodshade pack."

Allison's face contorted with displease. "Isn't that sacrificing my pack? You know how strong the Bloodshade pack is, and with Alpha Damon and his two subordinates, they are untouchable." She quickly voiced her dissatisfaction with the request.

"I know. And you think I haven't sacrificed my men? I lost my own Beta. Damon that Dickhead." Lucas punched through the wall, debris fell to the ground, and blood seeped out of his skin before healing again.

He turned to Allison. "That is the only way I'll believe you are not with him." His eyes burned with fury.

Allison's hands tightened by her side, and her jaws trembled. 'If it wasn't because of Damon, and how he disrespected me and lied to me, I wouldn't be in this lowly place. He wants me to sacrifice my pack… what is an Alpha without her pack?'

"Bone witch, how long will it take you to find the location of Ember?" He walked back to his seat, backing the ladies.

"Hopefully, within a week." She paused.

"That is if it is fast, and if it is not… it can take months," she added.

"I want it as fast as possible. I can't wait to have Damon's head," he muttered under his breath.

"I'll try my best. Don't forget what you have promised me." The bone witch said, her voice turned eerily low.

"I'll take my leave now Alpha Lucas. I believe we don't have any deal to sign since there is no trust between us." Allison said with a gloomy expression.

As she turned around to leave. "Wait." Lucas's words stopped her midway.

The ache in her chest lessened a bit. She turned around to face him.

"I have another way for us to earn our trust." He slowly caressed his long beard as if he were in deep thought.

"And what might that be, Alpha?"

"Marry me."

His words shattered any little hope she had left. "Marry you?" she asked again, unable to believe her ears.

"Yes, marry me. We will become an unstoppable force. Your pack will be mine and my pack will be yours. That way we can both take down the Bloodshade pack, and I'll avenge any wrong Damon had done to you." His lips pulled up into a devious smirk.

Allison looked at him with disgust. Who doesn't know how feral Alpha Lucas was?

She scoffed. "I see there is no way we can get each other's trust." She turned around and walked out the door.

'If I want to get a mate, Alpha Lucas will be the last on my list. Who wants to get mated to that animal? If I can't have Damon, no one will. And I'll make sure of it.'

After she had left, the bone witch let out an eerie laugh. "Alpha Lucas, I can see your way hasn't changed yet."

"What do you mean?" He leaned back into the chair.

"You intend to mate with her only to control her pack. If you have her in your control, you'll become stronger." she paced to and fro.

"I thought the only one you wanted to mate with was Ember. Not only will her magic make you stronger, but she can easily help you gain control over the realm. Do you really have to take Alpha Allison?"

"Having two powerful women by my side is not a bad idea." He said, amusement dancing in the depths of his eyes.

"If you mate with another before the Fae Princess, your wolf won't get stronger. That is a kind warning."

"Or you are just trying to protect Alpha Allison… you are afraid I'll abduct her?" He raised his brows at her. "I'm surprised that you care about someone."

"I don't care. I have a deal with her… and I don't want you to ruin it. Now order your guards to let her go." She casually placed the orb back into her cloak.

A smile formed on Lucas's face. "Fine, I'll let her go. If you tell me the whereabouts of Ember." He stared directly into the witch's eyes.

Outside the Bloodmoon pack mansion, Allusion walked down the cobblepath, heading to where she had parked her car.

She stopped in her spot when her ears picked up noises. She turned around, but couldn't find anyone.

Thinking she was wrong, she continued walking. Then hurried footsteps approached her. Her fangs and claws elongated, she turned around but stopped in her tracks, when white substances were blown into her face.

Her vision turned blurry, and she swung her hand in the air, but the perpetrator stepped back, letting the drug take effect.

Her steps faltered. Her body swayed, and the ground tilted beneath her. The last thing she saw were footsteps approaching.

That was when she realized she had been a fool to believe she could strike a deal with a madman.

A man squatted, tapping her face. When he saw no response, he lifted her and carried her over his shoulder. He headed back into the mansion, where Allison had come out earlier.
