Transmigrated Into an OnlyWomenRealm: the Amazons

Chapter 42: Mission Accomplished

They were in a straight position, Keza flapping her crimson bat-like wings repeatedly. If one looked at them from the ground, he would assume they were standing in the air, drifting.

Byron shot a glance backwards and found the view of the central castle to be awe-inspiring, but the chaos in his mind couldn't allow him to admire it for long. He had lost the appetite for it.

Worries were the only thing on his mind.

He was worried about how much time had passed. About whether or not Hippolyta was going to say yes. Whether or not Keza would be fast enough to reach New Themiscyra in time.

Then there was the issue of Alcippe herself. She was proud of the fact that she had been able to uphold her chastity oath. What if Byron reached her and she said, 'No, motherfucker! Ain't giving my virginity to nobody. I swore an oath!'

'Then I would be screwed!' thought Byron.

Not even a minute had passed and Keza started descending. They had reached the dining castle.

If they had walked, it would have taken them at least 20 minutes to reach it.

But now...

A minute?

Byron took comfort in knowing that Keza was so fast.

After they reached the ground, Keza led Byron inside the castle, far and up into a room on the second floor and told him to wait there.

"Where are you going?" he asked.

"To cook for you. Where else?"

"Oh! Can I come? There's no need to lock me into this room."

"I don't want Lyta to complain, you know. Besides, who said I'm locking you? Just stay here. When Lyta arrives, you are going to ask your favor, right? I thought you might like some privacy."

She then winked at him and left.

"I'm starving! Make it fast!"

Of course Byron was starving. However, hunger was the last thing on his mind right now. He only said that so Keza could hurry. He couldn't afford to miss the deadline for the quest.

"Hmn! I wonder how much time I have left."

Oh, and what did Keza mean by some privacy, then a wink and a smile? Why was she teasing him about it? Did she mean that Hippolyta might come and demand to be fucked?

Usually, there would be nothing wrong with that. But now...

Of course time was of the essence

'I have to do something!'

Byron walked to the huge bed in the middle of the room and collapsed on it, laying on his back with his hands on top of each other under his head.

His emerald eyes were met with the view of the ceiling, and he couldn't help but admire its beauty.

On its entirety, a painting, or paintings because there were many figures, depicted a woman holding a child, then a couple beside them, then a...

At that moment, the door to the room fell open and a beautiful girl with silver hair and pale skin, wrapped in a soft white dress entered with a plate.

"Forgive me, Your Highness," she said, bowing her head slightly. "Would you like some fruits?"

'Your highness?' thought Byron, a smile forming on the corners of his lips. 'Why was she calling him that? And why was she so cautious, unlike the others?'

Byron figured it might have been Keza's orders, so he didn't dwell on it.

"Sure!"

The silverhead approached slowly, sat on the bed beside Byron and asked, "What's your favorite, Your Highness?"

There were grapes, strawberries, bananas, prepared jackfruit, passion fruits...

It was a mystery to Byron how this girl had been able to fit all those fruits on one plate.

Byron had never eaten grapefruit raw, so he knew his answer right away.

"Some grapes please!"

"Yes, Your Highness!" said the girl as she grabbed a grape between her thumb and her index finger, then brought it over Byron's lips.

Another smile formed on the corners of his lips again, thinking, 'So, not only I'm suddenly being called Your Highness, but I'm being treated like one? Haha! Is this Keza's strategy to convince me that I'm better off in this city than in Penth's?'

Byron allowed his lips to part so that the girl could put the grape into his mouth. After that, he started chewing, staring at the girl.

She averted her gaze, but Byron had already seen the blush that crept onto her cheeks, betraying her.

For some reason, Byron forgot about his worries and decided to strike up a conversation.

"So, what's your name?"

"I don't have one, Your Highness!"

'What?! How is that possible?' he thought, then, loudly, he asked, "You don't have a name?"

"Yes, Your Highness! Me and three others."

Byron smelled something fishy about that, so he asked, "Why?"

"We were babies when Hera cursed our kingdom. Calliope said we are the only pure souls in this realm, so she demanded we become hers. To become her priestesses. We will be sacrificed to her on the day she will come to free the Amazons."

'Oh, interesting!'

It wasn't just the fact that this girl was among the youngest in this realm that surprised Byron, but also the fact that she talked about becoming a sacrifice so casually.

'She must have been brainwashed from when she was a baby.'

That's the only conclusion Byron could come up with. But then again, in ancient times, there were those who considered being sacrificed to be a great honour. Beliefs were strong in that way.

Byron felt like he was missing something, like he was close to some kind of a great discovery, but he couldn't put a finger on what it was.

Was it...

'Oh my fucking God!' Byron exclaimed, the realization making his heart skip a bit.

'She's considered to be pure and she should remain so until sacrificed. So, no sex. She has a reason to refuse my advances.'

Or, did she?

To find out, Byron asked, "Sacrifice you? How? As in killing?"

"Yes, Your Highness!"

"How can you say such a thing with such calmness?"

"It's my destiny, Your Highness. How am I to refuse?"

"Of course you can refuse. It's your life, after all. Don't you want to enjoy it?"

The girl, for the first time, met his gaze. She stared at him for a while with her lips twitching as if she wanted to say something, but then averted her gaze again and didn't say anything.

For someone who was calling him Your Highness, ignoring his question was a huge indicator that there was something wrong.

Byron immediately sat upright.

"What's the matter?" he asked, reaching out to grab her chin and make her look at him.

The girl flinched at his touch, looked at him shyly and said, "Forgive me for not answering your questions, Your Highness. I cannot lie."

"Then tell me the truth! Do you not want to enjoy your life like everyone else once you leave this realm?"

He saw the hesitation in her eyes and knew why she was acting like that, so he said, "Don't worry! I won't tell anyone. You can trust me!"

For someone who had never seen the outside world, trust came easily for her.

"They say life will be better once we leave this realm," she said, her voice down to a whisper. "They say there will be more people like you. Knowing that I won't reach that world pains me. I wish I could."

Her voice started cracking, her sapphire eyes glistening with tears. "Please forgive me for my sinful thoughts, Your Highness."

Byron took the plate from her hands and placed it aside, down on the floor, then pulled her for a hug.

The girl gently tried to push him away, but his firm grip subdued her.

"There's nothing sinful about your thoughts," he said as he gently patted her on the back. "Nothing sinful about them at all."

And he was right.

What was sinful about wanting to live, just like anyone else?

Imagine living your whole life being taught that there's a good world out there, but not allowed to hope that you will one day live in it.

Imagine being surrounded by people who keep voicing their desire to reach that new world, knowing that it meant death for you.

At this point, Byron wasn't just trying to use this girl to complete his quest. He was genuinely feeling a fondness for her, and if losing her virginity meant she would get to live, then he was going to help her.

It would be like killing two birds with one stone.

'But if I do that,' he thought, the sweet scent of her silver hair soothing him, 'Hippolyta and her girls are going to get angry. After all, this might anger Goddess Calliope, their only hope of ever leaving this realm. They might try to punish, or worse, kill her for betraying them.'

'It's also likely to disrupt the other three pure girls, making them waver in their beliefs.'

'Oh fuck! How can I be so stupid? That will happen if they know. I won't tell them. Problem solved!'

Then that's how Byron decided that he was going to fuck the silverhead. That he would keep their affair a secret as he looks for a solution.

Soon, he was going to be able to say to himself something that he thought impossible just minutes ago.

That thing was, mission accomplished.

Or, was he?

This was going to depend on his flirting skills. After all, if the silverhead refused, he wasn't going to force himself on her.

Rape was just something he would never do. Never.

'Where do I start then?'
