Chapter 33: Punish me
A red glint flashed through Keza's eyes. Byron could see she was so angry.
She faked a smile and then turned to look at Hippolyta who was approaching from the entrance.
"Lyta, what are you doing here?"
"Don't feign ignorance!" Hippolyta said, glancing at Byron and flashing him a smile.
'This bitch!' he thought, feeling like pouncing at her and punching the shit out of her.
'How can she smile at me as if nothing had happened. What does she even expect? A warm smile from me? Over my dead body!'
Byron averted his gaze, ignoring her.
Keza turned his gaze back and grimaced, faked another smile and turned back at Hippolyta.
"I'm not feigning ignorance or what. We had a deal that I would bring him, have the first ride all alone without anyone disturbing me. Now you're here before I've even begun. Don't you think I deserve an explanation?"
Hippolyta had now reached the bed, and she hovered over them as she said with a chuckle. "You've been alone with him for hours now. I know you very well. You can't have been idle."
This time, Keza didn't try to hide her anger. She greeted her teeth, her voice full of fury as she yelled at Hippolyta.
"I can't believe you think I'm lying to you. Really? Lyta, why would I lie to you? Do you not trust my word, uh?"
"Of course I trust you!"
"Then leave and let me enjoy my prize in peace. I will let you know when I'm done."
Byron couldn't believe his ears.
Yes. He didn't know if he could refuse to fuck a creature as beautiful as Keza.
However, to think they were talking about using his dick as if it wasn't his…
To think they were including him in their plans without even consulting him...
'Outrageous!' he thought. 'I'm gonna show them that they've messed with the wrong dude.'
'I might have a useless system, but my brain still works. I can't allow them to treat me like I'm a sex slave.'
Of course thinking was easier than actually doing it. How was he going to teach them a lesson? He wondered, only to find his mind blank.
There were several things he could do though. He just didn't know it yet. One of them was his system.
After all, it had only been two days since he transmigrated. What else did he expect? That the system will suddenly make him OP?
Things take time, after all.
Soon, he was going to realize that his system was the most useful thing he had and would ever have.
Back on Hippolyta and Keza, their conversation wasn't going too well. "How dare you yell at me?" said Hippolyta, angry.
"You're being unreasonable," replied Keza, without even looking at her queen. "Don't act all angry if I raise my tone."
"Unreasonable? Am I the one trying who to spent hours with him, wasting them on being idle? What were you waiting for? How is it my fault if I want to take him outside so all the girls can see him? Keza, you know I respect you. I can always change that though, remember?"
"This world is wide. If you don't want me, I can go and live with nymphs or something. I wouldn't want a queen who never keeps the end of her bargain."
This was the last stroke for Hippolyta. She suddenly pulled Keza by her hair and threw her toward the wall, several meters away, the strength with which she did it with astonishing Byron.
'She's a demi-god!' he remembered.
"I'm your Queen!" Hippolyta shouted. "Don't ever threaten to leave me again!"
Keza transformed into a succubus mid-air and started flying before she could hit the wall, then made a U-turn.
"You're no queen if you won't keep your promises," said Keza, her claws ready to scratch Hippolyta as she flew toward her.
Hippolyta drew his sword.
Byron was enjoying it. If only he had some popcorn at hand.
Watching two beauties, basically his enemies, fighting each other for something as simple as...
What were they even fighting for? Keza claimed she was promised to ride his dick first, alone and undisturbed.
Hippolyta said she wanted to show him to the other girls. Couldn't they rearrange things?
Maybe let Hippolyta show him to the girls, then fulfill Keza's wish afterwards?
Perhaps there was something else he didn't know about. After all, the way they were quick to snap at each other showed this wasn't their first fight.
Or the last.
"Don't you dare come any closer if you love your life," shouted Hippolyta, her sword ready.
"Don't you dare stand in my way," Keza shouted back, flapping her wings, "if you're not going to honour our agreement!"
"It's you who have not honored our agreement. If you have not wasted time, you would have finished with him by now. Whatever you chose to do within that time must have been more important to you. It's not my fault that you arranged your priorities the wrong way."
Byron was eagerly waiting for them to clash, but it seemed they were still trying to do it the female way.
Yelling at each other.
'What a waste!" he thought. "If it were men, punches would have started to fly by now.'
At Hippolyta's words, Keza burst into a mocking laughter. "Oh, for Calliope's sake, Lyta. He was asleep. You know I had to put him to sleep for the journey, right? And you know how my Sleeping Smoke works. No one can force someone to wake from it when it's not time."
These words seemed to change something within Hippolyta. "Oh!" she exclaimed, pushing her sword back into its sheath.
"He just woke up?" she asked.
"Of course he just woke up."
"Why didn't you tell me, you stupid, stupid Z? I almost killed you!" Her arms were opened wide as she approached Keza.
Keza flew right into those open arms and the girls who were on the blink of tearing each other apart seconds ago hugged each other.
"Don't flatter yourself," she said with a smile on her face. "I was the one who almost killed you!"
They burst out laughing.
Byron shook his head, disappointed but also relieved.
And entertained.
"You're weird!" He found himself saying to them, smiling as he gently shook his head.
They turned to look at him.
"It's also your fault too, you know?" said Hippolyta.
'Bitch!' thought Byron, keeping his mouth shut. He just looked at her with a disgusted expression on his face.
The smile on her face faded away and she turned to look at Keza. "Give me a minute alone with him please. We didn't part on good terms."
Keza thought about it for a while, glanced at Byron, then back at Hippolyta and finally strolled away.
"Just a minute, okay?" she shouted. "Don't even try anything sneaky!"
"I won't!" Hippolyta shouted back.
After Keza closed the door to the room, Hippolyta approached Byron with a remorseful look on her face.
"I didn't have a choice!" she said.
Byron had too many things to say to her right now but he just looked at her grudgingly.
Hippolyta went on her knees and grabbed his legs. "I didn't know you were gonna be so good to me," she said. "I thought you and Penthesilea would choose to fight us."
"That's why I had to prepare a plan B," she continued. "When you... When you did all those things to me, I knew I had to abandon that plan. I thought I could maybe talk to you and perhaps some day you would come and visit my city."
"However, it was Keza's idea to abduct you. All my girls knew about it. They knew there was no way it was gonna fail. If I hindered it, who knows what she could have done? She could have gotten angry and came back tomorrow and took you for herself."
Byron remained silent.
"Would you say something to me? Please! Say something! Anything! Punish me another way except this."
Silent.
Hippolyta grabbed his hand and used it to slap herself. Her face. Her cheeks.
"Punish me another way. Any way! But talk to me, okay?"
Her golden eyes glistened with tears.
"Punish me!"
