Transmigrated Become Sukuna, but the host is Yukinoshita Yukino?

Chapter 104: Chapter 104: Would You Like to Help Me?

In the endless pure white space, a small glowing orb emitting faint blue light floated behind Hayashizaki, rhythmically pulsing in an irregular manner.

Both Mahito and Ryoumen Sukuna focused intently on the pulsating blue orb. Although it appeared to be nothing more than an ordinary sphere, they could both sense a surge of anger coming from it.

A ball is... angry?

"This shouldn't be your domain, right? What kind of trick are you pulling?"

Ryoumen Sukuna showed an unusually cautious expression. The situation had gone beyond his expectations, and more importantly, he could feel a life-threatening danger emanating from the orb.

Even if he were at his full power, that strange orb could still kill him.

It had nothing to do with cursed energy or the strength of a technique. There was a massive, nearly insurmountable gap between them in terms of dimensions, as if separated by an impassable chasm.

Hayashizaki didn't respond to Sukuna's question. Instead, he turned toward the blue orb behind him. "So this is your true form."

He gently raised his hand and placed it on the orb, a smooth, warm feeling immediately spreading from his palm.

The orb rubbed affectionately against Hayashizaki's hand, releasing rings of blue light, and then slowly merged into the young man's body, disappearing without a trace.

"I believe I told you before, if I touch you with just one finger, I'll give you a beating, right?"

Hayashizaki turned back to face Ryoumen Sukuna, a mischievous smile spreading across his face.

"Hmph..."

Sukuna gave a noncommittal chuckle, a hint of stubbornness in his smile.

Meanwhile, Mahito, who had long been ignored by the two powerful beings, stood there numbly, watching the scene unfold. He saw the so-called "King of Curses," Ryoumen Sukuna, being single-handedly beaten by the mysterious black-haired young man.

The gap between Sukuna and him was just like the one between himself and Sukuna, separated by an insurmountable chasm.

After experiencing the shock brought by Sukuna and Hayashizaki, Mahito seemed to be in a state of emptiness, as if his mind had completely stopped. He couldn't even be bothered to try and struggle or save himself.

It would be a wasted effort anyway.

He didn't know how much time had passed in this boundless white space. His sense of time had become blurry, until Hayashizaki walked over to him, leaving the almost-dead Ryoumen Sukuna behind. Only then did a faint light flash in Mahito's lifeless eyes.

"You..."

Before he could say anything, Mahito saw Hayashizaki raise his hand with a bored expression, drawing a line in the air.

*Thud!*

Then, his view spun wildly, and in his confusion, Mahito saw his own body—without a head.

...

---

*Crack!*

After waiting for about thirty minutes, the sound of glass shattering suddenly drew everyone's attention.

Yukinoshita Yukino looked up and saw a crack forming on the black barrier that had formed the domain. The crack quickly spread across the entire barrier, and with a loud snap, it shattered completely.

The black-haired girl suddenly stood up, and when she saw the familiar figure of Hayashizaki, she quietly let out a sigh of relief.

Though she didn't think Hayashizaki would lose, she couldn't help but feel concerned for him.

"Ah! Hayashizaki-sensei is out!"

Itadori Yuji exclaimed in surprise, his gaze moving past his figure and landing on Mahito's headless body, with the head lying near Hayashizaki's heel.

"Mahito... is dead?"

Yoshino Junpei saw Mahito's corpse too, but he didn't feel the satisfaction of revenge. Instead, he felt empty, as if there were a hole in his heart, and endless void flowed out of it.

"They're all taken care of."

Hayashizaki said.

He patted the shoulder of the disoriented boy with a fringe covering his eyes, then led the way out of the house to the street, with Yukinoshita Yukino following behind him.

The room was left with only Itadori Yuji and Yoshino Junpei.

"Junpei, are you okay?"

Itadori Yuji looked at Mahito's lifeless body before crouching beside the boy with the fringe.

"...I don't know."

Yoshino Junpei sat down on the floor, curling up slowly, his hands hugging his knees as he stared blankly at the ground. "My mom's dead, and the person who killed her is dead too, but no matter what, I just can't feel happy."

"It feels like nothing matters anymore, and my future life is just empty."

He lowered his head, the light casting a shadow over his face. "I... I have nowhere left to belong."

Itadori Yuji instinctively clenched his fist, then placed a hand on his shoulder, speaking with a serious expression, "Junpei, come to Jujutsu High!"

"Eh?"

"There are reliable friends here, and strong teachers who are like monsters."

Itadori Yuji continued, "Here, you'll definitely find new meaning, and Jujutsu High will become your new place to belong."

Yoshino Junpei stared at Itadori Yuji blankly, his eyes glistening with tears.

The white clouds in the sky drifted with the wind, revealing the sun behind the clouds. Sunlight streamed through the broken wall, gradually illuminating both of them.

Outside the house, Hayashizaki stretched lazily in the sunlight, the bones in his body cracking loudly. He relaxed and turned to ask the black-haired girl, "The person who killed Ooka is dead. How do you feel about it?"

"Nothing special."

Yukinoshita Yukino tucked a strand of hair behind her ear and softly said, "Even if the killer is dead, it won't bring back the lives that are gone. It can only serve as a small comfort deep inside my heart."

"It's still not enough."

The black-haired girl stood next to Hayashizaki. She was half a head shorter than him, so she had to slightly tilt her head up to meet his eyes. "There's still a long way to go before we can create a world where even the weak can live happily."

"Thanks to you, my vague ideal has finally taken shape."

Yukinoshita Yukino looked into Hayashizaki's eyes, her deep blue eyes reflecting the sparkling red of her ruby-like gaze. "Hayashizaki-kun, would you be willing to help me?"

Looking at the girl before him, whose eyes were full of hope, Hayashizaki smiled slightly and gave his answer.

The soft afternoon breeze of summer carried away his voice.

---

The cursed spirit inside the barrier was dead, and both the barrier created by Hayashizaki and the one set up by Ijichi Kiyotaka vanished at the same time.

Not long after, Ijichi drove to Yoshino Junpei's house. Seeing the relatively undamaged neighborhood, the middle-aged man let out a slow sigh of relief. The damage caused by the battle between Hayashizaki and Ryoumen Sukuna at the juvenile detention center was much worse, so it seemed like the cleanup this time would be a lot easier.

Afterward, Yoshino Junpei joined the Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College and became the fourth student in his first year.

Repairs wouldn't start until tomorrow, and the empty streets at dusk had a unique charm.

In the silence, the sound of wooden sandals scraping the gravel echoed. Mahito's body had already disappeared over time, but the filth he left behind remained.

"Mahito is dead? What a shame."

A long-haired man wearing Gojo's robe, with a stitched line on his forehead, stood quietly, sensing the residual filth left behind. "I had originally planned to absorb him."

Suddenly, Geto Suguru's expression changed. In his perception, he felt the familiar cursed energy residue. "Sukuna's cursed energy... Did the vessel release Sukuna?"

"Either way, with Mahito gone, the plan will have to be changed."

The long-haired man's figure vanished, as if he had never been there.
