Transmigrated as the Fake Young Master, I’ll Beat up the Scumbags and Bitches

Vol. 1 - Ch. 371 - Love-Struck

"Can you believe President HuMing's already graduating? Just like that, two years have gone by."

"I know, right? But have you heard? President HuMing actually had a younger brother—he used to be pretty famous at our school too. Then suddenly he dropped out and disappeared for a long time."

"Family business, not something we can get involved in. But I'm more interested in something else—like how close HuMing is with Xia XiaoXi. And didn't someone say he's also close with other girls too?"

"Hey, the guy's rich and handsome. Pretty normal, no? Whatever, let's head home and hop online already!"

The summer heat lingered in the air. Just like that, two years had slipped by.

Ever since Gu ZhaoChuan's disappearance, JingDu had fallen into an eerie calm.

No one expected someone like HuMing to rise up from the Gu family and crush all competition beneath his feet. His presence now loomed even larger than Gu ZhaoChuan's had.

People everywhere were amazed—wondering how the Gu family kept growing stronger, seemingly on the verge of seizing control over all of JingDu.

And yet, to their surprise, the Gu family didn't make any further moves. It was as if they had paused at the peak, choosing not to attack the other powerful families.

Meanwhile, the Shi family… hadn't been so lucky.

No one knew why, but it was clear the Gu family had singled them out. Every time the Gu family expanded into new territory, the Shi family was crushed beneath them.

Other families witnessed this and dared not intervene—fearing they too would be swept up in the storm.

Compared to the Gu family, the Shi family looked utterly powerless. Their industries were gradually seized, and worse, they found themselves on the brink of financial collapse.

That was when people realized the tide had shifted.

One by one, alliances broke. Families that had once worked with the Shi family defected to the Gu side, eager to survive.

And throughout it all, Shi Zhong—the patriarch—was nowhere to be seen.

His absence baffled everyone. If he was the true head of the Shi family, then why was the old master still holding the reins?

At this point, no one knew how much longer the Shi family would even last.

"HuMing! Can you grab that book from the table?"

In a modest rental apartment, a girl's voice rang out.

Inside the room, she was packing up her things. Outside, HuMing was wiping sweat from his forehead, sealing up boxes to carry out.

Hearing the commotion, he put his hands on his hips and sighed in exasperation.

"You're seriously bringing everything? Can't you throw some of it out?"

Ye QiuXue poked her head out from the room, her long hair draped over her neck, exuding the unmistakable aura of a dangerously seductive housewife.

She raised a brow, then glanced at a nearby trash bag.

"Everything I'm throwing out is in there. The rest? All essential. And those books—definitely not going. They're full of my notes from the past few years. If you even think about tossing them, I'm going to be mad."

She spoke righteously.

This whole move had been HuMing's idea in the first place—he insisted on helping, not her. She wasn't responsible for his choices.

HuMing flopped backward onto the couch like a tragic hero.

"Nope, I'm calling it—I object to this cruel and unusual labor!"

"Objection overruled. You can take a break—but once you've started, you don't get to quit!"

HuMing pouted like a child. He wasn't really tired—he just felt like someone wasn't rewarding him enough for all his effort.

Ye QiuXue seemed to read his mind.

She stepped in front of him, cupped his face gently, and planted a soft kiss on his cheek.

"Okay, I'm going back to packing. Hopefully by the time I come out, everything out here will be nice and tidy, hmm?"

HuMing watched her walk away and sighed again.

But after resting a moment, he stood up and continued cleaning.

What choice did he have? Orders from the girlfriend were non-negotiable.

Besides, the truth was—whether they said it aloud or not—three different girls had all quietly accepted HuMing as their boyfriend.

No drama, no competition. Just an unspoken truce.

Somehow… they got along surprisingly well.

"Oh right—HuMing, YunXi said we're going on a trip together when we go home. Everything's booked already, we're heading to my hometown. You in?"

"And what am I supposed to say to that? It's already planned, like I could say no."

"You could say no. I don't mind," Ye QiuXue called out from the other room, her tone playful—but HuMing could hear the real meaning behind her words loud and clear:

"Alright, alright! I'm going, okay?!"

Far from the warmth of domestic life, deep in a foreign jungle beneath a star-splattered night sky, two women sat by a fire, roasting meat.

Here, the air was still. Silent.

Kang Xin's expression had grown colder with time—her face almost robotic, void of all emotion.

Across from her, HuMin chomped into a roasted rabbit leg, her messy eating style a sharp contrast to her otherwise elegant appearance—like some fallen noblewoman roughing it in the wild.

"We've been wandering long enough. Time to head back. Though… I bet HuMing's gonna freak out when he sees what you've become."

At the mention of that name, Kang Xin's eyes trembled.

HuMin chuckled.

"Now that I think about it, he's my disciple, and you're my disciple. So technically… is this a forbidden romance between fellow students? Ugh, it reeks of scandal."

"…How has he been?" Kang Xin's voice was quiet.

It had been two years since she'd last seen him.

Two long years training under HuMin—two years of being hunted, surviving in danger, fighting to stay alive. And in those two years, Kang Xin had grown explosively.

Even HuMin had to admit it—"She's a natural-born killer," she once said.

Still… to think a girl like this had been snatched away by her own disciple? HuMin couldn't help but feel she'd gotten the short end of the stick.

But she had no intention of interfering. The things those two had been through—only they could understand them.

"Guess it's good news, you know the girls around him, right? From the look of it, he's trying to collect them all like some kind of harem king. I thought he was a one-girl kind of guy, but turns out he's a full-blown playboy."

"It's not strange he doesn't want to let them go," Kang Xin replied calmly.

"…And you think that's fine?"

"It's a problem for other people. Not for HuMing," Kang Xin said, her eyes fixed firmly on HuMin—like she wouldn't tolerate a single bad word about him.
