Transmigrated As An Extra In The Novel I Love And Hate

Chapter 7: The Elven Empress

The room was filled with warmth, yet exhaustion was beginning to settle in.

The senior elf doctor, Eldrin Faelar, who had been silently observing the interactions in the background, stepped forward with a kind yet firm expression.

Despite his aged appearance, his emerald-green eyes carried the wisdom of centuries, and the gentle golden aura around him marked him as one of the few healers personally blessed by the World Tree itself.

He had delivered countless royal heirs over his long life, yet even he had to admit—this child was indeed beautiful.

Still, the needs of both mother and child came first.

---

"It is time to rest."

"Your Majesties," Eldrin's soothing voice filled the air, bringing a sense of calm. "I must insist that Lady Seraphina and the young prince receive the rest they need."

The former rulers, the emperors, and the grandparents all groaned in reluctant acceptance.

Even the ever-proud Zephyrus, Asmodeus, and Alexander hesitated to leave, their gazes still fixed on the sleeping Adrian.

"Can't we stay a little longer?" Zephyrus muttered.

"You've been here for hours," Eldrin reminded them gently, not at all intimidated by the presence of so many powerful figures. "Surely, the child will still be here when you return."

The three emperors exchanged glances before grumbling in defeat.

One by one, the royals bid their reluctant farewells before finally exiting the chamber.

---

Calling an Old Friend

Once everyone was gone, Seraphina sighed in amusement, gently brushing Adrian's soft hair with her fingers.

"They were acting like a bunch of children."

Then, a playful smirk curved her lips.

"Speaking of children…"

She reached out, tapping the air lightly, and suddenly—

A brilliantly complex magic circle materialized in the air before her, golden-blue runes shifting in an elegant dance of energy.

Within seconds, the circle stabilized, forming a shimmering holographic screen suspended in midair.

A moment later—

The screen flickered to life.

And a breathtakingly beautiful elf woman appeared.

---

Elaris Moonshade: Queen of the Elves

Seraphina was immediately greeted by a pair of radiant emerald-green eyes, filled with curiosity and excitement.

"Sera!"

The voice was sweet and melodic,

The Elven Queen, Elaris Moonshade, was clad in intricately woven silver robes, adorned with ethereal floral designs. Her long, moonlit white hair cascaded gracefully down her back, shimmering like threads of light.

Yet, despite her regal aura, the woman pouted like a child.

"You finally call me, and you take this long?"

Seraphina chuckled, completely unfazed by the her excitement as if it was a common occurrence to see the elven empress screaming with excitement.

"You know how things are, Elaris. Giving birth to a kid isn't exactly an easy task."

Elaris' eyes sparkled with excitement.

"You finally gave birth?!"

Her voice rose in excitement, almost vibrating with energy.

"Oh, I must see him! Is he adorable? Does he have your eyes? Your hair? Is he more like Zeph?"

Seraphina laughed at her best friend's enthusiasm.

"Well… Why don't you see for yourself?"

With a fond smile, she gently shifted Adrian into view, allowing the Elven Queen to lay eyes on him for the first time.

---

"He's... he's perfect."

For a brief moment, Elaris did not speak.

Her mouth parted slightly, and her sharp elven gaze softened in sheer captivation.

"...By the World Tree…"

She whispered in awe, completely enchanted.

"Seraphina, what—how—is this even fair?!"

Her voice turned into a dramatic wail, as she covered her face in mock despair.

"He's too beautiful! How did you create something this perfect?!"

Seraphina smirked.

"Well, what can I say sometimes my talent , its almost frightening." She says dramatically flipping her hair.

Elaris, however ignores seraphina's monologue, and is still busy fussing over Adrian.

She clasped her hands together, gushing over his angelic face, his snow-white hair, and the faint golden-red glow beneath his eyelids.

"Oh, my heart! Sera, this isn't fair! You've given birth to the future heartthrob of the entire continent!"

Seraphina's laughter filled the room.

"Trust me, I already know."

Elaris squealed in excitement before sighing dramatically.

"Do you know how much trouble you're in?"

Seraphina raised an amused brow. "Oh?"

Elaris narrowed her eyes playfully.

"I guarantee you that the moment he takes his first step, noble girls from every empire will be fighting over him."

Seraphina groaned. "Don't remind me."

But then—

Seraphina's eyes glowed with mischief.

"…Actually, Elaris. I called because I have a little surprise for you."

Elaris perked up. "Oh? What kind of surprise?"

Seraphina grinned, shifting Adrian's tiny form just slightly—

Just enough to reveal his delicate shoulder.

The moment Elaris saw it—

The World Tree's Mark—

The Queen of the Elves froze.

Her breath hitched.

Her eyes widened.

For a long, stunned moment—she didn't speak.

Then—

"SERAPHINA, YOU LITTLE—!!"(the blank symbolises words which are unsuitable for children so please move ahead without getting offended🙏)

The Queen screamed in sheer excitement, startling even the guards outside her palace.

Seraphina burst into laughter, watching as her best friend descended into joyous chaos.

Seraphina only smiled softly seeing her friend's happy expression.

Elaris practically radiated joy, her emerald eyes shimmering with pure delight.

"We're finally going to be relatives!"

Seraphina smiled warmly, nodding.

"Yes, Elaris. It seems we will indeed be family now."

Elaris giggled like a child, but then—her expression turned serious.

"Seraphina," she said firmly, "I want to make him my godson."

Seraphina arched a brow.

"Already claiming him, are you?"

Elaris placed a hand over her heart, her expression fierce.

"You don't understand, Seraphina. The Elven Empire has not had a prince bearing our sacred World Tree Mark in ages."

She took a deep breath, before declaring proudly—

"If Adrian is willing to inherit our legacy as well, then I will personally ensure he is guided on the path of the elves."

Seraphina smiled, nodding.

"I had a feeling you'd say that."

The two childhood friends laughed together, reminiscing on their long years of friendship.

And thus—

A future legend was now bound to four royal bloodlines.
