In a way, the boundary indeed serves such a purpose. But essentially, it's to protect the Advanced World inhabitants and humans.

But in Wan Zi's eyes, everything now had a reasonable explanation.

Wan Zi put away her sword.

Zhen Shi and Zhang Haoyun showed no emotion.

A man's mouth, a liar's ghost.

Zhen Shi never imagined that after Baiyu's maneuvers, this world, so weak in human power and nearly destroyed by lesser Corrupt, would become an "upper realm" that could dominate the Advanced World.
