Transforming Succubus: Almost Doomsday

Advanced World, outside the Kingdom of Longxia, unknown region.

One of the three main gods of the Pantheon is the God of Games and Entertainment.

The followers of this god mostly see the world as various games for amusement, viewing characters with levels, attributes, and health bars.

Among the highest existences, they can even see question marks and exclamation points above people's heads, forcibly receiving or assigning various tasks from others.

Karlando was such a person, as one of the few core rulers of the Pantheon today and the high priest of the God of Games and Entertainment, he saw the entire world as a game.

The apocalypse of the Advanced World began with version 1.01.

But once upon a time, the Advanced World, this rotten apple, was very healthy.

Today's Advanced World is like an apple completely rotted through, bitten through the skin by the worm known as Corruption from a deeper world inside.

And once, before the skin of the Advanced World was bitten through, there was an even deeper world inside.

That world was the origin of the demon race and also the origin of the Corruption species and the divine race.

In the era when gods continuously appeared, the Pantheon was already in existence.

Great Pioneers, Saints, gods, Demon Emperors, in a dazzling world of stars, following the fall of the King God, the rules of some powerful treasures allowed the second and third worlds to begin to manifest.

Thus, the Pantheon set its sights on potential individuals from these secondary and tertiary worlds.

Therefore, before the twilight of the gods, some exceptionally gifted followers had already infiltrated the Advanced World.

These individuals weren't there to pollute the world with Pollution species, as such actions would breach the gods' agreement.

But to pre-emptively place one's chess pieces in the next battlefield did not break the rules.

Karlando was one of these pieces, in the Advanced World when corruption was burgeoning, when pioneers and purifiers began to save this world—

Karlando was already a top follower of the God of Games and Entertainment.

He had already started looking for people suited to be "turned into a game."

They would find certain people and turn their painful lives into objects that matched the main god's rules.

Such as the life of Fang Xuan.

Karlando, as a high-level follower of the God of Games and Entertainment, in a sense, was the strongest fallen follower after the god's rules were established.

Once, before the borders were established, in the cracks where the gods' rules began taking effect, Karlando came to foreign soil and planted some seeds.

These seeds are the gu worms, which, of course, due to the gods' agreement, cannot infect some individuals passively unless those individuals actively choose corruption.

This restriction also caused many seeds to remain dormant, with the gods turning into rules and Longxia becoming a forbidden zone for new god's followers, leaving many seeds no chance to ever take root, grow, flower, or bear fruit.

But Karlando believed that one person would surely choose to accept the gu worm.

Information about this person was recorded in Karlando's own "Containment Item Handbook."

"Containment Item Number, 014. Real Name, Fang Xuan."

This handbook contained such information:

"The gods turned into rules, but within those rules, there are aspects where some exceptionally gifted individuals receive divine revelations. They need not passively choose a faith but are actively selected by the deity."
