But in fact, not all Mutators might follow the same route.

Guang Tongchen quickly said, "I can't mention the reasons for activation to you because the intermediary warned against it."

Zhou Baiyu remembered that Lin also mentioned that other Mutators couldn't discuss these reasons with him.

Nevertheless, Guang Tongchen explained as much as he was able:

"But yes, my Dark Walker and Waking Dream's Overlord are hidden branches, each with their own activation requirements."

Indeed, did professions marked with "walker" represent a second branch in each significant profession?

Above the Mountain Breaker existed the roles of Sea Breaker and Sky Cutter. But Waking Dream took the path of Overlord and War Maniac.

"The existence of these professions isn't a secret, but the activation conditions are like disclosing the existence of the Advanced World to ordinary people: a secret that will get you erased if spoken about, and also... As far as I know, the advancement system of the 'walker' lineage isn't necessarily more powerful than the original versions."

"Professionally, it's just a different style, but it's hard to say which is superior or inferior."

Guang Tongchen didn't feel that unlocking a hidden branch necessarily made him stronger than other Concealers.

Just like Ke Zhongye, although he did not unlock the Overlord lineage and followed the path of Sea Breaker and Sky Cutter, Ke Zhongye's power—was greater than that of Waking Dream.

Although everyone thinks Ke Zhongye is a bit simple-minded, when it comes to destructive force, he is unparalleled.
