Chapter 12: 12- Rhino
Boom.
I looked up from the table, where several unfinished projects were laid out before me, to see a plume of smoke rising into the sky. I could also hear gunshots echoing out.
Grabbing my pack, I called out to Troy. "Access every camera available and record everything."
"Got it bossman."
I directly dove out of the window, pulling on a cord attached to my shoulder. A hollow shell folded out to cover my body as it began to glow, transforming the simple machine into a lifesized replica of my own body, only cybernetic.
The transformation reached the remaining pack on my shoulder, connecting to the reservoir of Energon and converting it into extra material. Suddendly, I was a streak blurring across the skylines, appearing at the scene of attack in less than a minute.
Troy took over scanning the area for me, highlighting dozens of people running around the streets, and one very big man. Nearly 10 feet tall and gray...skin? It was more metallic, and he had a ho- Rhino.
I heard a Thwip nearby and Troy pointed out two more figures. Spiderman and Scorpion, his long tail lashing out to inject the Arachnid themed hero.
I shot a concussive blast towards Gungan, blasting him off of the hero and giving him enough time to fight back. In the meantime, I set my sights on Rhino.
(Pov shift 3rd)
'Chassis, Xlr8, take your teams out and clear the paths that Rhino takes. Make sure the civilians aren't in any danger while I take him out.' I ordered through the Link.
Chassis and Xlr8 were two of the newer members of the team. They were both Teir 2's and each led a team of 25 Teir 4's. And all of them were bikes, making them his fastest land based Cybertronians.
Note to self: Make a team name.
Sam chased down Rhino, landing on his shoulder just as the man blew through an empty truck. "Hey there buddy, anyone home?"
Rhino grunted, waving a hand in an attempt to get Sam off of him. "Buzz off little fly."
Smirking, Sam ducked under his swing and created a clamp about the size of Rhino's head. "Probably not the brightest idea I've had but, why not take some notes from my favorite superhero?!"
Sam grinned, slapping the clamp over the burly man's eyes, wires attaching to his hands as handles. "Wooohooo! You ready fir a swim bug guy? Hope so!"
Troy notified him of a nearby river. He was lucky they were near the bay. Leaning hard to his right, Rhino had no choice but to pivot to regain his balance. He was being led like a horse with blinders on.
The thought made Sam snort.
VRRROOM
A red bike pulled up next to him, his top half transforming into a humanoid. Chassis. "Hey bossman! Coast is clear, no collateral damage possible!"
"Thanks Chassis! You might get that custom paint job you wanted afterall!" Sam grinned.
The autobot raised his hand and elbowed towards the ground. "Oh yeah! I knew you had style!"
'Clear out and maintain perimeter, I doubt this is the end of today's action. Oh and Arachnid, jet over with your troops and maintain air coverage. Skyripper, I want a show of power from you as well.'
''''Coming Primus!''''
"They keep calling me that, what do you think?" Sam muttered, leaning into Rhino's ear despite knowing that he couldn't hear what was said.
"GET OFF OF ME YOU DAMN BUG! ILL CRUSH YOU!" He kept swiping at Sam, and kept missing too.
Laughing one last time, Sam jumped off the big lug and let him crash down into the water. Rubbing the back of his head, Sam sent out another message, to a Cyber who wasn't exactly a Transformer.
'Crash, I need you to swim by and pick up the lughead trying to imitate a fish.'
He only had to wait a few moments before a commotion started drawing attention in the river. It was a wave, a big one, and when it came up next to Rhino, something came out of it.
A massive crocodile head, completely made of medal and completely terrifying to any passerby. The croc, Crash, swallowed Rhino up before sinking back into the water, leaving via another massive wave in the river.
It wasn't really a river persay, just the water between another borough, but who's really checking?
Anyway, it wasn't long before bothering the police and Spiderman rolled up to where he was, sitting with his legs dangling over the ledge. "Oh, hey guys! Took ya long enough."
Spidey sighed, his shoulders sagging. "Why does this seem so easy to you?"
---
"What's your take on the events that happened here today Mr. Tracy?" A reporter asked him as he deactivated his suit.
"This was clearly a desperate cry for help by what the media means to call 'Super Villians."
"And about one of them, what have you done with the one called Rhino? It's well known by now that these mechanical beings are of your creation."
Sam nodded. "He's currently being held in one of my facilities. I am going to make sure that his combative suit is removed from him before he is placed back into his cells. It's obvious that those in the right channels either just don't want to, or are so incompetent that they cannot do it themselves."
"About your creations, how do you make them?"
Sam raised a brow, scoffing. "I thought it was well known by now that I was a mutant? I give life to them, and they help me in return, but otherwise they are living beings that have their own souls."
"That'll be all." Sam turned around and flew off, his suit coming around him as he blasted away. "I hate reporters... they can never get their facts straight."
