Transcending Realities: A Journey to Reclaim Home

Chapter 104: Trip to Land of Snow

As we looked around, the village we had entered wasn't the snow-covered one I had expected. Instead, it resembled more of a spring village, with lush greenery and a mild, pleasant climate.

Our sudden appearance caused quite a stir, with several villagers pausing their activities to look at us. But as soon as they recognized me and Sakura, the tension seemed to dissipate. One of the villagers hurried off to fetch Koyuki, who was on set at the time.

However, I stopped the villager before he could go any further. "No need. I'll meet her myself. Carry on with your work," I said, giving him a nod.

He hesitated for a moment before acknowledging my words and returning to his duties.

I turned to Temari, who had been silently observing the surroundings. "So, how's the village?" I asked her.

"It's okay, but I prefer it hotter. Suna is much hotter than this," she replied, a slight pout on her lips as she took in the mild weather.

Sakura chimed in, her tone slightly teasing, "Don't say it like that; this is Koyuki's sister's village."

Temari gave a small, amused chuckle. "Oh, now I get it. So that's why Naruto was so eager to come here," she said, raising an eyebrow with a knowing smile.

I chuckled, a bit embarrassed but also proud of the connection I had made. "Guess it's not just the village that's worth seeing," I replied with a grin.

The light teasing eased the mood, and we continued on our way, looking forward to meeting Koyuki and seeing what this village had to offer.

I chuckled at Temari's remark. "Well, there's more to it than just wanting to see Koyuki. It's about understanding the whole situation here. This village has its own history, and Koyuki... she's tied to it in more ways than one."

Sakura looked around, taking in the serene surroundings. "I thought this place would be snow-covered, but it's just like when we left the village after our mission here," she remarked, a little surprised by the change in scenery.

"Yeah, I think she's still using the device," I replied with a sigh. "I told her not to use it so frequently, but she's not listening. Looks like I'll have to teach her a lesson soon."

Sakura raised an eyebrow, clearly curious about my plans. "You really think that's necessary?"

"Well, sometimes people need to learn things the hard way," I said with a grin. "You two go ahead and meet her—since she knows you, Sakura. I'll catch up after I take care of a few things."

Sakura nodded, though she looked slightly unsure. "Alright, but don't take too long, Naruto. You know how stubborn she can be."

"Don't worry," I replied with a smirk. "I'll deal with her in my own way."

As Sakura and Sasuke started walking toward the familiar residence, I stayed behind, glancing up at the sky. That device has its uses, but if it's overused, it could cause unnecessary strain. She needs to understand that.

After a moment, I started moving, taking my time. I could already sense the faint chakra signatures coming from the house ahead. Sakura and Sasuke were probably engaging her in conversation. As I approached, I heard voices inside.

"Naruto told me you've been using that device too much," Sakura's voice carried out, slightly scolding. "You know it's not good to rely on it too often, right?"

Another voice, calm and a bit defensive, responded, "I only use it when I need to. Besides, it's not like I'm overusing it. You're worrying too much."

I stepped into the doorway, arms crossed, with an exaggerated sigh. "Still stubborn as ever, huh?"

All heads turned toward me as I entered. There she was, standing with her usual composed demeanor but a faint trace of guilt in her eyes. "Naruto," she said, her tone neutral, but I could sense the hint of unease. "You're here earlier than I expected."

I grinned and walked closer. "Yeah, because someone decided to ignore my advice about the device. We've talked about this—it's not just about you. It affects everyone around you if something goes wrong."

She crossed her arms and looked away, avoiding my gaze. "It's fine. Nothing's happened so far."

"That's not the point," I said, softening my tone. "You're smart enough to know better. If you keep pushing it, you'll regret it. And I'm not saying this to lecture you—I'm saying it because I care."

Sakura chimed in, her voice gentler now. "Naruto's right. We all care about you, and we don't want you to get hurt or cause unintended harm. Please, listen to him this time."

After a long pause, she finally sighed. "Fine. I'll use it less often. But only because you all are nagging me about it."

"That's all I wanted to hear," I said with a smile, ruffling her hair playfully. "Now, let's enjoy our time here without any more issues."

"Wait, I'll bring the others too—it would be great to have everyone together," I said, already brimming with excitement.

"Okay, you go," Sakura said with a smile, and Temari nodded in agreement.

"Wait for me—I'll be quick!" I called back as I vanished, teleporting straight to Konoha. Within moments, I was standing in my home.

"Mom, are you home?" I called out.

From a distance, I heard her familiar voice. "Naruto, why are you here? I thought you said it would take a week or two to return."

"Nothing serious, Mom. The negotiations are nearly over, and I thought it'd be nice to bring everyone on a trip to the Land of Snow. So, I came back to see if you wanted to join us. Are you coming?" I asked eagerly.

She paused for a moment, clearly thinking it over. Finally, she said, "Alright, I'll come."

"Great! Wait for me—I'll grab the others too."

Without missing a beat, I dashed out of the house. After a bit of searching, I found everyone: my girlfriends, Tsunade, and even Shizune. They all seemed happy to see me, and Tsunade looked particularly relieved, probably thankful to escape her Hokage duties for a little while.

With everyone in tow, I used the teleportation seal and brought them all to the Land of Snow. The sudden change in scenery left everyone awestruck, and I couldn't help but grin. This trip was about to become unforgettable.
