Shields deflected the almost solidified sound attacks while the frost cannons blasted off the approaching fiddle rays. Zyrus saw different scenarios as he roamed above the battlefield.

Dragon of war, Tiamat, Sedna, Phorcys, and Waarnemer. These were the ships that were at the helm of conflict.

The ophidian warriors and abyssal legion were led by Elsid and Zirnitra. Unlike Zyrus who could temporarily hover in the sky, Zirnitra was a true born wyvern. His power was second to none when it came to aerial strikes.

Even the monsters on land were helpless against those who could fly in the vast skies, much less the underwater fiddler rays. It was thanks to this that the dragon of war was faring better than anyone else despite the allied numbers being the lowest.

Two fiddler rays made their appearance in the next instance. They were the reason behind Ria's warning.

Zyrus's words reached all the marshals. By this point, they were capable enough to not need his assistance at times like these.

Kyle and Druv decided to hold onto their skills, whereas Lauren and Shi kun were tasked to deal with the current threat.

Maahes, Babi, Pouka, and Jacob were in charge of helping out when needed. It was a perfect strategy that left no room for criticism.

Blue and white spears rained down from the sky and pierced through gigantic fiddler rays. They were fifty feet long with wings that covered eighty-five feet. What stood out the most were the markings on their back.

Ornate patterns of dark-edged bands were present below their shoulders. They formed a triangle that stretched all the way to their tails.

Why did Zyrus focus on that? Because more often than not, clues like these were related to a monster's ability.

Their next attack confirmed his thoughts. Unlike the weaker fiddler rays, these two were able to merge their skills into a powerful combination.

Water arrows were turned into ten-foot tall waves, and they were further imbued with a sound attack.

The miniature tide slammed into the ships over and over again. The scene looked like someone had fast-forwarded the process of waves crashing on the shore.

Everyone was pushed back dozens of meters, except for two – Zyrus and Shi kun.

There was no way Zyrus would be affected by the attack since he was in the sky, and as for Shi kun, he was someone who had spent the last few years learning about the laws of wood.

His tenacity wasn't something an attack of this level could challenge. He barely lost a fraction of his HP, and even that was recovered in the next second.

If you ignored the low stat bonus, this was a weapon that didn't lose out to unique tier. This was also the reason why Shi kun used this pair of bracers despite there being many rare shields with higher defense value.

"Of course not," Shi kun grinned from ear to ear as he looked at the upcoming attack. High-frequency attacks might be troublesome for others, but they were rendered useless on him.

One can say that this was the limitation of clairvoyance. Ria foresaw Shi kun being attacked by two strong monsters, but she didn't know that he'd play them around like fools.

Normally, the strong monsters used an attack with high damage with relatively longer intervals. This made the effects of Trickster Turtle rather average. But since these two were using the same attacks over and over again, Shi kun's HP was always at 100%.

Each consequent waves were counted as a separate instance of [Block], and it then triggered different effects of the trickster turtle.

Zyrus flew away from the sight and rushed towards Lauren who was dealing with four monsters on her own. She looked like a green mosquito buzzing around the gigantic fiddler rays, but her damage was anything like a mosquito's.

Each swing of her daggers slashed away more than 5000 HP. Her variety of DoT skills were even more splendid, dealing over 20,000 damage every second.

The surrounding players were left gobsmacked at the damage numbers. They didn't see the system texts as often after coming to the third zone. It was difficult to gauge their rate of growth since the natives were just too freaking strong.

But when they fought these monsters, they realized just how strong they had become.

Numbers were the best indicator of that. They couldn't even scratch the minions summoned by Pugalo, and now, they were dealing 3-digit damage to monsters who were much stronger.

<Looks like you don't need my help as well>

"Mhm. Why're you using telepathy though? I can hear you just fine."

The two did some idle chatter while Zyrus used poison of the four fiddler rays. His DoT damage was pathetic when compared to Lauren's, but still, he was glad that it worked. The glaring weakness of his title was that it did nothing to lower the enemy's poison resistance.

'Looks like I'll have to get another skill book.'

It was pretty much guaranteed that they'd be ranked highest in the flag march. It wasn't long before the flag graduated from being 'blank' and earned the insignia of his faction.

Zyrus knew without asking what she wanted to do. More than a hundred black chains fell from the sky and bound the fiddler rays with dark blue shackles. At the same time, Ria activated Chief Weaver alongside her class skills that boosted agility.

The four monsters were immobilized in just 10 seconds.
