Chapter 727: Mysterious Blood

Magnus's eyes widened in shock, as his breath grew labored, a luxury it seemed. Air began to slip away from his throat.

Death?

To Magnus, that word was so alien, yet so familiar.

His hands were stained with plenty of blood, yet death was something he never considered for himself.

He was a Tribulation Transcending strongman, and a member of the Divines Hall, no less. Who in this world would dare to harm him?

With a thud, Magnus hit the ground as a nearby strongman turned deathly pale. Is he looking my way now? Could he be in the mood for killing?

"With too many lice, one stops itching. So, you might as well go and keep them company, that's what loyalty demands, after all."

Ye Ling sneered and advanced towards him as the strongman retreated wildly, flailing his arms, with terror writ large in his eyes, "No! You can't kill me! I didn't hurt those Huaxia people, it wasn't me!"

"You killed them, I swear, I swear to God, I'll keep your secret, really. Just let me go, and I'll never tell the Holy Emissary!"

The strongman kept waving his hands, totally petrified. Two Transcendance Tribulation Stage strongmen hadn't withstood even a single sword strike; how could he possibly survive?

Ye Ling shook his head, "No, I don't need your secrecy. If you want to blame someone, blame that James in hell."

Whoosh, a flash of sword light, and the strongman's eyes bulged as he saw the longsword pierce straight through his chest. The fading light in his eyes stole away his life.

Three Transcendance Tribulation Stage warriors, three men from the Divines Hall, all slain by Ye Ling with three sword strikes, not one left alive.

Feiergle felt incredulous, his face as pale as paper, "You're a madman! You'll suffer retribution for this. You have no idea how powerful the Holy Domain is, you lunatic!"

Dead, all three mighty warriors were dead. Feiergle couldn't dare imagine what would happen when the terrifying, god-like Holy Emissary returned, whether he would burst into fury and slay him.

"Heh, the Holy Domain? I, Ye Ling, will be waiting. As for you, I'm sparing your miserable life. It's not that I don't want to kill you, but killing you would dirty my sword."

As Ye Ling spoke, he walked away slowly with the Primal Sword Embryo in hand. Feiergle collapsed onto the ground, a limp heap.

But suddenly, a terrible surge of battle outside sent Feiergle into a state of ecstatic surprise. His eyes widened as he looked outside.

The Holy Emissary must have returned, it must be. Otherwise, how could there be fighting outside again? With that thought, Feiergle hurried out.

He needed to see the Holy Emissary slice up this detestable devil, otherwise, he would live in this shadow, unable to extricate himself for the rest of his life.

In the castle square, Ye Ling stood with sword in hand in an open field, facing a pale-faced middle-aged man with a head of blond curls, and astonishingly, a pair of black wings sprouted behind him.

The wings bore mysterious patterns, captivating and dizzying to behold, drawing one's eyes irresistibly.

"Who are you, and why did you come here, killing my three subordinates!" demanded the man with wings coldly. He was too strong, this young Huaxia fellow before him had actually managed to injure him upon their first encounter.

He, at the Divine Infant Early Stage, had never felt such an appalling sensation before.

"So it's a birdman, huh, just an animal. Watch me kill you!"

Ye Ling didn't bother with words before killing; why all the nonsense? Today his heart was brimming with the intent to kill. He couldn't kill in Huaxia, but who could stop him abroad?

Whoosh, the Primal Sword Embryo unleashed a terrifying sword light, thunderous with such ferocity that it even tore through the sky.

The strong opponent across from him was immediately horrified. In his mind, he instantly thought of another formidable warrior from the East.

Not long ago, this fearsome fellow and another person, along with a dragon and a white Spirit Beast, had forced Xuantian Palace and Divines Hall to retreat and concede defeat.

Such an unprecedented shocking act had rendered both mighty powers helpless. Just imagine how fearsome that made him—so much so that even a warrior in the Divine Infant Late Stage couldn't last more than three moves against him.

"Are you Ye Ling?!"

The warrior hastily shouted, but sadly, Ye Ling's sword had already arrived, swishing through the air, a flash of cold light amidst a burst of brilliance.

Death completely enveloped the man, and with one sword strike, his body fell to the ground, dropping a small glass vial.

Inside the vial was a full bottle of crimson blood, but this blood contained a shocking power, so much so that even Ye Ling felt astonished.

Dead, all of them dead, even that terrifying Divine Envoy couldn't withstand a single sword strike from this devil-like Huaxia lad. Just how strong was he?!

Ye Ling picked up the vial and placed it into his storage ring, then turned to look at Feiergle, who wore an expression of utter despair.

Dead, all of them dead; this was a cataclysmic disaster. His own Fei'er Family was finished, completely finished.

As Ye Ling turned to leave, a beam of light that tore through space pierced directly through Feiergle's heart.

The night was silent yet carried a chill. When the agents of the Divine Group arrived at the castle of the Fei'er Family the next morning, they were utterly dumbfounded.

There were corpses everywhere, especially four bodies with eyes wide open in terror, filled with panic, and what's more significant, even in death, these four emitted a divine presence so strong that it deterred them from getting too close.

Something major had happened. Florosa, upon seeing the corpses everywhere, nearly fainted. This must have been the work of that accursed Huaxia lad.

But knowing who it was, she was powerless to do anything about it, indeed helpless.

What to do now? Was she really going to take the Divine Group to confront him, accuse him of murder, and make him take legal responsibility?

Don't make her laugh. Chances were, doing so would result in all the Divine Group's members dying by his sword, none spared, so what was the point in capturing him?

This young man from Huaxia had brought to Mi Country an unsolvable BUG, and the killings never stopped.

Florosa even wanted to petition the great royal family to institute a ban preventing this damned bastard from ever entering Mi Country again. Cut the crap, for goodness' sake. If this kept up, wouldn't all their people be wiped out?

As for the instigator, Ye Ling, he arrived at the Ross Clan's home, accompanied by Ai Lu, to meet this colossus of the shadowy world, a terrible force in the economic sphere.

In a study room filled with classic Western décor, old Rose looked at the man before him, his granddaughter's partner, and couldn't help but smile.

Perhaps, in a few years, the glory of the Ross Clan would surpass even what it was today, who could say?
