Top-class Bodyguard

Chapter 187: Raise the Muzzle a Little Higher

Xia Wenxue walked out of the prison, still feeling a bit uneasy. After some inner struggle, she decided to make a phone call.

"Wenxue, what made you think of calling me?" A voice on the other end, old but full of vigor, answered.

"Grandpa, I need to ask a favor from you."

The voice laughed heartily on the other end: "Granddaughter, if you need something from me, there's no need to ask. As long as it's within my capability, I'll go all out to help you with it."

"Grandpa, I have a friend in Jiangnan City who's in trouble. He's been thrown into prison."

"Is that all? Don't worry, I'll call Zhao Yan tomorrow, and he'll take care of it."

"Thank you, Grandpa," Xia Wenxue expressed her gratitude.

A sigh came from the other end: "Wenxue, are you still unable to let it go?"

"No."

"Wenxue, it's not that Grandpa doesn't want to help with that matter. It's for your own good. Even if I got involved, our Xia Family wouldn't have a good time. The forces involved are beyond what we can handle. Take Grandpa's advice, let the past be the past."

Xia Wenxue bit her lip: "I understand, Grandpa."

Meanwhile, inside the prison, Liao Zhang frowned after listening to Yuefeng.

"Boss, we can't take this guy down."

Yuefeng gave a bitter smile.

Liao Zhang was also troubled. Ren Feng's strength was formidable, and it seemed ordinary methods couldn't deal with him.

But if things went wrong, and he got implicated, his days would be over.

"Yuefeng, put the HK2 cyanide in his food and then throw him into the D2 level's restricted area," a cold glint flashed deep in Liao Zhang's eyes.

Yuefeng couldn't help but shudder internally. Poisoning? And throwing him into the D2 level? That's the most terrifying place in the whole prison.

"Boss, isn't this..." Before Yuefeng could finish, he saw the sinister look in Liao Zhang's eyes. A shiver ran through him: "Don't worry, Boss. I'll handle this properly."

Watching Yuefeng leave, a cold glint also flashed deep in Liao Zhang's eyes: Once things are resolved, this person must be dealt with to keep him quiet!

Mr. Fang is right. Now, only by discarding these pieces do we stand a chance to protect ourselves.

Ren Feng was still lazily sitting in the room. After a while, a policeman brought him food.

"Brother, you're something else; in such a short time, three women have come for you."

The policeman who came in was someone Ren Feng hadn't seen before. He chuckled, handing over a bowl of instant noodles to Ren Feng while holding a bowl of his own.

Ren Feng chuckled, "Just three? I still feel ashamed."

The policeman was stunned, then bitterly smiled, "Brother, you sure have skills. I can't learn your way with the ladies. Here, I saw you hadn't eaten all afternoon, so I got you a cup of noodles."

Ren Feng also picked up the noodles. But as he smelled the aroma, his hand, about to use the chopsticks, suddenly stopped.

"Brother, why aren't you eating?" The policeman was puzzled.

"Ah, I don't eat mushrooms. The flavor doesn't suit me. Your spicy one looks good; how about we switch?" Ren Feng laughed.

The policeman was taken aback, then forced a smile, "That's not quite right; I've already eaten mine."

"It's fine, I don't mind," Ren Feng said cheerfully, pushing his noodles over.

The policeman was already stunned, and in a hurry, he said, "How about this, if you don't like it, I'll make you another cup?"

"That's too much trouble," Ren Feng said with a smile, "After all, the usage of such poison is limited. Aren't you wasting it?"

The policeman's face was filled with cold sweat, "Bro, what are you..."

Before he could finish his sentence, Ren Feng's face turned grim. He kicked out directly, and the policeman hit the door, smashing it open.

Then, several policemen burst in.

"You dare assault a policeman? Do you know this could be considered assaulting an officer?" the leading policeman said angrily.

"Oh, I know," Ren Feng nodded, a smile reappearing on his face, "Not only did I hit him, but I also intend to hit you all now."

"Wow, quite the attitude. Guys, looks like this kid's pretty bold. Let's treat him to a big meal," the policeman sneered, "Don't say we didn't give you a chance, order up, sweet and sour pork or spicy fish, your choice."

The so-called sweet and sour pork meant a vicious elbow blow to the kidney area; if severe, the victim won't just have a hunched back but could even urinate blood.

Spicy fish was even harsher than 'sweet and sour pork,' using electric wires or hemp ropes soaked in water to whip a person, leaving the skin flipped like fish scales.

"I don't eat any of that," Ren Feng's eyes narrowed slightly, "I'll treat you instead, to sandbag fists!"

As soon as he finished speaking, Ren Feng charged forward. Those policemen quickly pulled out batons, preparing to act.

As soon as one policeman pulled out his baton, he found it missing, and with a wave of Ren Feng's right hand, the baton fiercely smashed down on his head.

Seeing the man fall back with a cry, Ren Feng, wielding the baton like nunchucks, swung it fiercely towards the surrounding policemen.

The baton clattered onto two more heads, then, turning around, rising suddenly, it struck a policeman's chin hard, flipping him upside down.

Quickly, several policemen were on the ground, the last one stunned, keeping a wary eye on Ren Feng as he turned towards him.
