Chifuyu's POV

Chifuyu had told Takemitchy everything that had happened that night with Y/n, and he was just as confused.

There wasn't really a way of finding out, other than just asking her upfront. Chifuyu knew she wouldn't hurt them.

They both agreed to go to her house and just ask. She could have useful information if she is a time leaper, but this kind of time leaping..

They both hope this isn't something she does. She dies…and then leaps…

I can't think of anything crueler…maybe she doesn't feel the pain?

As they were only a few steps from her door, movement out of the corner of Chifuyu's eye made him jump back to prepare for a fight. Only to see the last person he thought he would see here.

Mikey.

It was as if the air around them was suddenly like a winter breeze. Mikey stared mainly at Chifuyu. The stare so cold, it prevented them from going any further.

"What are you doing at Y/n's place?" He calmly questioned.

Takemitchy started to rambling, but Chifuyu couldn't help but be angry.

Y/n gets killed in the future. She gets killed because Mikey turned his back on her.

The pain and frustration were unbearable. Wanting to be loyal to Mikey like Baji was to the end, but being angry at him for hurting Y/n..

He couldn't even speak. Mikey came closer to him, most likely to intimidate him, when Takemitchy speaks up.

"I wanted to check on Y/n! She was hurt..and her aunt is always gone. She needs help.." Takemitchy let out the last few words in a low mumble before turning his gaze to the floor.

Mikey's POV

Mikey couldn't explain how everything seemed red upon seeing Chifuyu and Takemitchy at Y/n's place. Takemitchy has Hina, but Chifuyu?

The simple realization that Chifuyu knew where Y/n lived was enough to make his blood run cold.

I hate this…and it's my fault…

When Takemitchy finally spoke up, he looked him in the eye in a moment of confusion. "She was given the OK to leave the hospital, so she's fine."

"She can't walk very fast and if she stands for long periods of time, she gets dizzy and falls over…" Chifuyu muttered.

Mikey didn't get a chance to say anything before her door opened. There she was in the same casual clothing as always.

Except….

Mikey felt his mouth go completely dry seeing she still had some bruises that hadn't completely healed yet.

She was wearing a long hoodie and very little of her body wasn't covered, but the parts that weren't…

He should've believed her…

He could tell that his staring at her made her uncomfortable. It always flustered her before. He assumed before it was because she didn't like him at all, but now….she keeps fidgeting with her hands. Like she's afraid of him…

"I..um…heard you guys. I was sleeping. I would've come sooner if I had known…" She let each word out like it was a soft breeze, trying so hard to not…

To not what?

He could only stand and stare at her.

Trying hard…to not upset…..me….

She hadn't looked him in the eye or anything. She kept her head down. He knew it was out of respect of the decision he had made.

I deserve that…but still….I…

"I love you, Y/n." The words spilled from his lips before he had a chance to even think about it.
