Tokyo Yandere Girlfriend

Ch. 47

Chapter 47

The affection in the girl's eyes seeped into Shiratori Kiyoya's eyes and ears as she spoke, and he even felt a flush of warmth in his chest.

Unconsciously, he clenched his hand, bit his tongue, took a deep breath, and continued to ask,

"So, how did Saori find out I'm studying here?"

"Uh... well..."

A hesitant excuse escaped her lips, her dark, glossy eyes flickering like the hour and minute hands on a clock.

After a moment, as if she'd solved some impossible riddle, she blurted out,

"Kitajo Shione told me."

Kitajo Shione?

Did she still have contact with Kitajo Shione?

Shiratori Kiyoya's mind immediately jumped to this thought, but he didn't believe her answer at all.

Applying to the university happened over half a year ago. If Shione really knew he was at H University, she would have come to find him long ago—there'd be no need to hear it from his aunt...

But that question wasn't important. What was more crucial was that Saori still had contact with Shione.

Without exposing her, Shiratori Kiyoya continued,

"So, Saori, you came to H University just to see me, right?"

The girl pressed her lips together, thinking carefully. She felt there was no trap and nodded straightforwardly.

Seeing this, Shiratori Kiyoya smiled and asked,

"So, why did you have to see me today? Was there some reason?"

"Huh?"

Saori's face froze, completely unprepared for his question. Her toes curled instinctively, her legs squeezed tightly together, and her breath quickened.

Shiratori Kiyoya's gaze casually swept over the girl's toes.

This fool, whenever she got nervous, her toes curled up like that.

When he first helped her relax her muscles, she was the same—she didn't just curl her toes; she'd clamp down with her thighs too.

Especially when he massaged the muscles in her calves, it was especially bad—she had choked him with her thigh several times...

Later, when she got used to it, it got better. But whenever she was nervous or at a loss, she still reacted like this.

Shiratori Kiyoya was sure he'd hit the mark, so he straightened his face and said seriously,

"I want Saori to answer me honestly because I'll be one hundred percent sincere with you. In my impression, Saori never lies or deceives me, so whatever you say, I'll believe it."

Hearing this, the girl couldn't help but lower her face, staring at the floor. Her legs were tightly pressed together, and her eyes flickered with tangled emotions.

"So... Saori knew I was at H University all along, but waited until now to come see me?"

After he spoke, silence fell heavily in the air.

Shiratori Kiyoya calmly looked at the girl in front of him, waiting for her reply while pondering various possibilities.

After a while, Hasegawa Saori finally raised her head, her voice choking with emotion,

"I was afraid Kiyoya wouldn't remember Saori..."

Looking at the girl whose eyes brimmed with tears, Shiratori Kiyoya was stunned. He felt as if a burning cigarette butt had stabbed his heart. He opened his mouth and said,

"How could that be..."

'Drip, drip.'

Tears overflowed from her reddened eyes, dropping onto the floor. Saori pouted her lips, looking aggrieved as she said,

"But, Kiyoya, don't you have a girlfriend now?"

"I was afraid you wouldn't remember Saori anymore..."

"Your heart is full of so many women. Will there still be a place for Saori? Will you still think of Saori?"

As she spoke, Hasegawa Saori seemed unable to hold back her emotions any longer. Suddenly, she straightened her waist and leaned forward, pressing her body toward Shiratori Kiyoya.

Instinctively, Shiratori Kiyoya leaned back, supporting himself with his hands on the floor, staring at the girl before him in surprise. He couldn't help but ask,

"How did you know..."

Knowing what he was wondering, Hasegawa Saori stopped trying to hide and said directly,

"Kitajo Shione told Saori."

Then, without giving Shiratori Kiyoya a chance to think, she moved her knees forward and pressed on.

"Kiyoya, don't you want Saori anymore?"

"Do you dislike Saori because she's an idiot?"

"Saori will try even harder. Please don't leave Saori..."

Saori's voice circled in his ear, her face coming closer and closer, trying to fill the boy's heart entirely.

The love that had burned silently and painfully through countless dark nights now shone brighter than fireworks.

The overwhelming affection poured from her tear-filled eyes, flooding into the boy's heart.

Shiratori Kiyoya felt his throat burn, and something he had always held onto wavered. His voice grew hoarse,

"Saori..."

'Bang!'

However, just as he called her name, a loud door slam interrupted him.

"Ah! The door wasn't locked."

A clear, cheerful voice rushed in with the wind from outside. In an instant, the suffocating atmosphere was quickly shattered.

Shiratori Kiyoya's gaze shifted from Saori to the door.

Takahashi Mio stood there smiling. Noticing his glance, she shook the bottle of mineral water in her hand and said,

"Since you just finished competing, I was worried there'd be no water in the locker room, so I brought some for you."

"How is it? Am I thoughtful or what?"

Takahashi Mio laughed lightly, seemingly indifferent to the intimate posture between the two.

She turned to close the door, then grabbed a nearby chair to wedge it shut. Afterward, she walked over to Shiratori Kiyoya, bent down, and reached out her hand,

"The floor is cold. It wouldn't be good for you to sit too long and get sick."

Listening to Takahashi Mio's cheerful tone, Shiratori Kiyoya calmed down and took her hand to stand up.

"..."

Watching the boy rise, Saori clenched her hand on the floor, her eyes brewing a strange calm.

"Get up."

Standing up, Shiratori Kiyoya reached to pull Saori's arm. This time she didn't resist, gripping her bamboo sword and standing.

Seeing this, Takahashi Mio smiled even more, looking at the girl half a head taller than herself and said,

"You're Kiyoya's old friend, right?"

"Takahashi Mio. Nice to meet you. Please take care of me. I'm Kiyoya's girlfriend."

Saying this, she hugged Shiratori Kiyoya's arm, pressing half her body against him.

Shiratori Kiyoya frowned, about to pull his arm free. But before he could move,

Saori's face turned cold. Her right arm suddenly shot up, and the bamboo sword in her hand stabbed toward Takahashi Mio like lightning.

'Swish!'

The bamboo sword sliced through the air, the wind scattering Takahashi Mio's hair by her ear.

The sword barely missed her face, hovering by her ear.

"Let go."

Saori's voice was emotionless, as calm as her expression.

"..."

Mio's smile froze. She stared blankly at the girl before her as a clear tear slid down her cheek.

Hasegawa Saori tilted her head. Seeing no reaction, she reached to grab Mio's arm.

Just as Saori's hand was about to land on Mio's arm, Shiratori Kiyoya frowned and slapped the bamboo sword away.

"Saori."

Calling her name, he pulled his hand back.

However, Takahashi Mio seemed to be deliberately resisting, biting her lip tightly, clutching Shiratori Kiyoya's arm despite the tears streaming from her eyes.

'Tear!'

The three of them all pulled hard at once, and the sleeve on Shiratori Kiyoya's arm was torn open.

Hearing the sound, Takahashi Mio instinctively looked over.

Her eyes suddenly widened, pupils shrinking.

A grotesque dark scar, like a python, stretched from Shiratori Kiyoya's wrist up to his elbow...
