254. Conflict in Potions Class

Magos looked around. He originally wanted to find a seat in the corner, but he was speechless and found that only the first row of the Gryffindor side was empty.

He had no choice but to run over quickly and sit down.

"You're lost" Harry and Ron were further away from the first row.Sitting behind him were Dean Thomas and his good friend Seamus Finnigan. It was Dean who asked him in a low voice.

Magos shook his head. Although Snape's eyes were not on him, he had a hunch that he had been in the other person's perception.

"Then why are you late and have points deducted?" Simo saw him shaking his head with a hint of complaint in his tone.

At this moment, Snape suddenly turned his head and looked at Seamus. Seamus shivered in fear and quickly lowered his head.

Snape slowly looked away expressionlessly and coldly warned Gryffindor not to make any more small moves. Then he put all their summer homework and shrinking potions on the podium.

"This is your homework." He looked around the entire audience with cold eyes, and even Slytherin bowed his head obediently.

"I'll give you a quarter of an hour to take your medicine and test it. If it doesn't work," he walked over to Neville, looked at him and said cruelly,

"I will pour this useless potion into your mouths."

Neville looked at Snape in fear, trembling all over, as if he was seeing himself being forced to drink his own potion.

Snape was satisfied with Neville's reaction and walked to Harry's table with a sneer.

"I hope the title of the savior can match its owner, otherwise many wizards will be disappointed."

Harry controlled his angry expression. He knew that Snape was deliberately irritating him and wanted to use him to deduct points from Gryffindor.

Under Ron's worried expression, he said calmly,

"I won't let you down, Professor Snape." The last two words were a little more serious.

Snape gave him a cold look.

"For disrespecting the teacher, five points will be deducted from Gryffindor." He waved his robe and walked back to the podium.

Harry was almost furious at Snape's reasons and wanted to pick up his wand and attack him.

"Calm down, Harry, calm down." Ron said urgently as he pulled his magic robe. He was really afraid that Harry would do something irrational in anger.

Seeing the students who had already started to come up to the stage to get their own potions, Harry calmed down and said,

"Sooner or later I'm going to knock him down."

Ron nodded repeatedly, fearing that his hesitation would irritate his friend.

Magos didn't need to look back. Just by listening to Snape's words, he knew that this was his daily way of attacking Harry, and he silently mourned for him for a second. This was the tragedy of the teacher being his father's love rival.

Then he stood up to get his potion, but when he walked up, he didn't see his potion on the podium.

"Professor, it seems there is no potion of mine in this." He looked at Snape and said carefully.

"No one is late." He replied calmly.

The corner of Magos's mouth twitched. Does that mean he doesn't need to test anymore or something?

"Then how did he test it?" A questioning female voice came from the side. Magos turned around and saw that it was Hermione who had appeared.

"Mind your own business, Ms. Granger. I do not wish to ask questions without my permission."

Hermione took her own potion and sat down on Magos' table glumly.

"When did she come?" Seamus and Dean looked at Hermione sitting in the front, and subconsciously looked at the seats in the back, but didn't find anyone free. But it shouldn't be late, otherwise Snape wouldn't be able to let her go.

Dean shook his head in confusion.

"Where were you sitting just now?" Feeling strange, he touched Hermione and asked.

"I've been sitting here, you haven't seen it," Hermione said without looking back.

Dean and Seamus looked at each other, unsure whether this sentence was true or not.

At this time, Magos watched all the little wizards take away their potions. He was about to leave just now, but was glanced at by Snape, so he had to stay here in embarrassment. Harry and Ron were still sympathetic. Glanced at him.

After all the little wizards except Magos had taken away their potions, Snape stood up.

The little wizards who were preparing for the experiment stopped their movements, somewhat curious about what Snape was going to do with Magos.

Magos also looked at Snape uneasily. He finally felt Harry's humiliation. He saw him take out a bottle of magic potion from his arms, and Magos could tell at a glance that it was his.

"This is Mr. Will's shrinking potion. Now let's use it for the first test. If it fails." He looked at the uneasy Magos coldly.

"I think he'll know what to do."

Magos was relieved after hearing this. He was still very confident in his potion. He thought Snape would make him do something more embarrassing. He didn't know whether to resist or accept it. .

Before he could finish thinking about it, Snape conjured up a white mouse, then pulled out the sealing plug of the potion, and poured a few drops onto the white mouse. The white mouse slowly shrank at a speed visible to the naked eye, and finally only the original One-tenth the size.

Seeing that Magos's potion was effective, Hermione, Harry and others in the audience were relieved for him. They were really afraid that Snape would let him drink the potion if it didn't work.

Snape was not surprised or disappointed by this result. He sealed the potion and put it away and asked Magos to return to his seat.

"You shouldn't be late."

Once back, Hermione started experimenting and scolded in a low voice.

Magos shrugged and did not explain the reason for being late. Seeing that he had nothing to do, he took out the parchment Sprout gave him and read it carefully.

However, not long after he looked at it, he heard a popping sound coming from behind. He looked back curiously and saw Neville holding the test tube in his hand blankly. In front of him was a toad that kept making popping sounds. He remembered that it was his pet.

Magos turned back to see what Snape's reaction would be, and saw that she had already strode to Neville's side.

"Look, look, it looks like our Mr. Longbottom has invented a new potion."

"Are you using this popping sound to scare away enemies?" As he finished speaking, there was a huge roar of laughter from Slytherin.

Faced with Snape's cynicism and Slytherin's unbridled ridicule, Neville looked plain on the surface, but if you get closer to him, you will find that he is shaking at an incredible frequency.

Snape frowned and looked at the frightened Neville. He took out his wand and cast a calming charm on him. Then Neville gasped with fear on his face.

Neville's look made Gryffindors unbearable, and Harry couldn't help but stand up.

"You scared him, Professor."

"Yeah." Snape looked at Harry who suddenly stood up. He was stunned for a few seconds, not knowing what he thought of, and then his expression quickly darkened.

"Very well, Mr. Potter, do you want to show your friendship and courage? Why not drink this potion for him?"

Snape's words frightened the young Gryffindor wizards. They thought they were just words to threaten them, but they didn't expect that he really wanted people to drink the wrong potion.

Harry was also frightened by Snape's words. He didn't expect that he would actually dare to do this.

"You will hurt him if you do this." Hermione couldn't help it.

Snape ignored Hermione's words. He only stared at Harry viciously, waiting for his answer.
