Chapter 251: News of the Wild Boar-men

The Fifth Prince is the [Hand of Dawn], which seems related to what the Guard Captain hinted at earlier!

The Eldest Prince, Fifth Prince, Eighth Prince…

Moon Goddess, Lady Gardener…

Wild Boar-man…

Lin Ke fell into deep thought.

The clues are mixed and chaotic, the truth elusive and shadowy.

Who exactly is the mastermind behind it all?

Lin Ke is in the light while the enemy is hidden in the dark; now he must not only avenge Ove but also protect Fulon and Garoce.

"Go gather all the information related to the Wild Boar-man and bring it to the nearby Flame Tavern by eight tomorrow evening."

Lin Ke instructed the manager in front of him, sipping his milk tea as he pondered the clues.

The female manager saw Lin Ke deep in thought and quietly moved to the desk nearby, pulling out a large book.

Level Three Magic Item – [Information Record Book]

"Document search," the female manager whispered softly.

"Rustle-rustle—"

The book moved automatically without wind, pages flipping with a rustle, each dark letter floating up, her pupils glowing faintly.

[Scribe] Skill – Document Search!

She was searching for information about the Wild Boar-man!

After a few minutes, she stopped thoughtfully, coinciding with Lin Ke's gaze.

"Mr. Buck, I found these pieces of information." The female manager casually picked up pen and paper, writing a few lines, then handed it to Lin Ke, who was sitting on the sofa.

As Lin Ke touched the paper, several scenes gradually emerged in his mind.

The first scene was a human man rushing in, saying his village was being disturbed by a group of unknown Wild Boar-men, requesting help.

However, because the payment was too low and the presence of Wild Boar-men above level five, no one was willing to take the task, leaving him to retreat disheartened.

Later, other villages also came for help, catching some attention, but it seemed the group of Wild Boar-men was dealt with, so nothing further happened.

The second scene was a noble's servant wishing to taste a female Wild Boar-man, issuing a bounty that offered one hundred thousand gold coins for capturing one.

The task sparked a huge uproar, causing several Crimson Wilderness spaces in the abyss to boil, with even many Wild Boar-men recommending themselves.

However, in the end, no one claimed the one hundred thousand gold coin bounty, and after a month, it was withdrawn.

The third scene was vague, with a mission from a member of the Deep Sea Crab Race, an abyss resident, claiming a female Wild Boar-man had stolen her jewelry, wanting to issue a bounty.

Fourth...

...

After more than half an hour, he finished reading.

There were dozens more scenes, but the manager had sorted these three to the front.

Lin Ke also noticed the connections among them.

The first scene involved a group of Wild Boar-men, the second a human noble from the abyss, and the third race from the Ocean of Stars and Waves.

Three seemingly unrelated tasks, yet occurring consecutively.

The most crucial point is that these three tasks seemingly aim for the same goal.

To find a female Wild Boar-man!

The unknown Wild Boar-men from the first scene seemed to be searching for someone, thus constantly moving around.

The noble from the second scene seemed to be searching too, but for a female Wild Boar-man.

The member of the Deep Sea Crab Race in the third scene straightforwardly issued a bounty.

"Provide me with the location of those villages, information on the noble, and details about the Deep Sea Crab Race."

Having "read" the lines the manager wrote for him, Lin Ke had some guesses, though unsure if they correlated with the forces opposing him.

"Ready, Mr. Buck." The female manager already began preparing as she materialized the scenes occurring in the Crimson Wilderness Space, explaining audibly:

"Those villages are located within the first one hundred layers of the abyss, where dominion and security are not as strong as the lower abyss layers, incomparable to Great Wilderness City."

"The noble interested in female Wild Boar-men is an individual noble without land, a level five professional, a Baron managing eleven tailor shops, all in the first hundred layers."

"As for the member of the Deep Sea Crab Race, she resides on the 202nd layer, composed entirely of seawater, I'm unsure about the number of intelligent Sea Race beings there, but she clearly lacks 'Abyssal Aura'."

Rather than a bottomless hole reaching a planet's core, the abyss is better described as countless spaces adhered to within.

Some spaces are entirely oceanous while others are cities, prairies, mountains, and such.

Numerous races pride themselves in living within the abyss.

However, the abyss lacks a resident registration system and law enforcement.

Each layer interconnects with various regions and towns of the Gula Kingdom through teleports, handling massive transit volume.

But those residing long in the abyss, or the native Abyssal People, possess a unique demeanor.

Similar to how cultures in previous lives' major cities had their uniqueness.

The aura cultivated by the abyss feels like a bold, elegant, yet unorthodox noble.

This top-down influence likely originated with the Insomnia Emperor.

Within that scene, however, that member of the Deep Sea Crab Race appeared timid, her eyes occasionally mingling cruel and sinister glints.

This member of the Deep Sea Crab Race possibly hails from the Ocean of Stars and Waves!

Now Lin Ke vaguely sensed these three factions were all searching for a female Wild Boar-man, uncertain if she had been found yet.

Perhaps this is a game between three major powers, with that female Wild Boar-man being crucial.

However…

What does this have to do with Lin Ke?

He was searching for the Legendary Wild Boar Great Shaman and seeking the power behind the scenes.

No matter who is behind it, if Lin Ke can achieve it, he will kill directly!

Kill them all!

Likewise, he will not let any member of the Legendary Wild Boar Great Shaman's tribe escape.

"Keep an eye on this matter, and notify other strongholds too. If the enemy remains hidden for long, Great Wilderness will be in danger."

Lin Ke put down his milk tea cup, advising the female manager: "Make sure to pass the message to Lady Heishan. Mr. Lin Ke is currently unable to emerge, only relying on Crimson Wilderness and Great Wilderness City."

"Understood!" The female manager's expression also turned stern: "I'll get on it right away!"

"Mm, do you have any other exits here?"

"Yes!"

"Good."

...

Lin Ke, transformed into [Minstrel] Buck, emerged from one of the portals, arriving once more at the Green Leaf Juice Bar.

This time, the attitude of the maid and store manager improved significantly.

Likely recognizing Lin Ke, transformed as Buck, as a wealthy individual.

Who doesn't like wealthy people!

Properly attending them might even increase their desire to spend more!

"Mr. Buck, please come with me, what would you like to drink today? Oh, also, our shop has learned from Great Wilderness City and now offers membership packages..."
