This Isn’t an E*otic Game?

chapter 150 - Her Mind Was Tinted Pink

Open my eyes.
A vast, endless grassland came into view.
A prairie somewhere in the north.

A pleasant breeze was blowing, the feel of grass under my hands was nice, and off in the distance, a unicorn was mating with a mare.
Wait a second.
Mating?

“She’s been marked. Now it’s your turn, bitch!!”
It was a stable.
A unicorn was screwing every single mare in the stable—exactly once each.

After forcibly restraining them with psychic power.
“Bear my child!!”
He screamed, and then did exactly as he said.
One thrust, one shot, and done.

“You’re not a virgin anymore. I’ve got no more use for you.”
That unicorn, who was continuing its mating spree, suddenly attacked what seemed to be the stable’s owner with a psychic blast the moment the human appeared and started yelling. The unicorn knocked him to the ground, then bolted from the stable and vanished somewhere.
I had been watching the entire scene in silence. Slowly, I turned around.

“Those lines. That behavior. Weren’t those the exact same things you said to me the first time we met? That you impregnated every mare within range, that you only ever did it once with each of them and shot your load once.”
A pony.
A scraggly, pathetic-looking pony—utterly incomparable to the unicorn just now—had its head pressed to the ground, averting its gaze.

“You were a virgin, and you lied to me?”
I stepped forward and let that one line drop.
Something about it must’ve hit deep, because he suddenly exploded in rage.

[Do you have any idea how shameful it is for a male unicorn to be inexperienced in mating? Huh? Sure, he’s a twisted piece of shit now, but before Kardak fell, he was the most popular male on our entire prairie!! He was the ideal of every stallion unicorn out there!!]
“So you were copying him?”
[Yeah!! I faked it, alright?! I lied, okay?! I didn’t think you’d ever learn my backstory, so I just lied!! Happy now? Can you stop digging into it already? How the hell did I end up with someone like you who’s tearing open even my past like this.........]

As I continued walking forward, the scene shifted once again.
The lush prairie and clear sky abruptly began to darken.
The grassland vanished. The sky vanished. Sticky, disgusting flesh began ~Nоvеl𝕚ght~ to engulf everything around us.

Like a cave.
And inside this revolting cave of flesh, only two things existed.
A beautiful female unicorn, dancing and laughing in the distance.
And the other…

Kon.
“Guess he really had it out for you.”
The moment when Kon and Kardak fought was now sprawled across the cave walls made of flesh.

A pathetic little pony had challenged the most renowned stallion of the prairie.
All over a single, stunning mare.
Kardak’s psychic powers had been powerful—but in the end, he lost.

In front of everyone.
He was utterly shattered. Devastated.
Unable to bear the humiliation, Kardak headed into the Grand Labyrinth, determined to die, approaching the nest of a predator beast that could be considered his natural enemy.

Then Valram’s image began to form on the wall.
Valram’s face hadn’t changed at all.
We saw the moment he said something sweet and honeyed to Kardak with that snake-like grin of his.

“No wonder he didn’t refuse.”
[I was already planning to die. Of course I didn’t.]
Kon’s voice trembled.

Then the memory moved on.
It was, from Kon’s perspective, probably the most traumatic one.
A Bicorn with two horns ambushed a pony walking through the prairie with a graceful mare.

Empowered by the Demon King’s authority, Kardak’s psychic power had grown even stronger. He easily overpowered the pony.
And then one of the Bicorn’s horns plunged into the pony’s flank.
A scream.

Blood.
And the flesh cave quaked in response.
He was happy.

The pony fled.
Pathetically, disgracefully, vanished into the distance.
[And of all places, Kardak just had to run toward a human village where he used to cause havoc. It didn’t take long before he ran into a hunting party. The unicorn extermination squad had gathered to hunt Kardak—but I guess to them, a unicorn was a unicorn.]

Kon’s voice had never sounded this gloomy.
But the cave’s murals weren’t done yet.
Kon vanished—and now, only one remained.

The female unicorn.
“You were our goddess. You were mine! And now you give your heart to another male unicorn?!”
The Bicorn’s shriek rang out.

The figures painted on the cave walls were now writhing in front of our eyes, howling.
“You’re not pure anymore. You’re not a virgin anymore. No, you’re not!! Your heart already belongs to another male!! You filthy, disgusting non-virgin bitch!!”
Psychic force exploded from the Bicorn’s horn.

The mare let out a scream.
Kon—momentarily forgetting this was all a memory within a mental realm—lunged forward in shock.
[Lu!!]

But Kon’s scream made no difference.
Kardak’s memory continued.
“Your heart may not be virgin anymore—but your body and soul still are. So I’ll take those instead. Since you’re already a defiled whore, I’ll screw you over and over. You disgusting slut.”

The psychic force ripped the mare’s body apart.
The once-beautiful mare could no longer walk.
Her skin was torn, her mane shredded.

All four legs broken, she let out a soul-crushing scream that filled the mental world.
Kon shut his eyes.
[……I can’t watch this, Amayel.]

Kon was crying.
The mare’s screams consumed the mental world.
I gripped Kon’s mane and stepped forward.

What came next was even more revolting.
Kardak kept on indulging his urges without end.
Valram and Lucifer didn’t see anything wrong with it.

They even encouraged it.
Kardak kept mating. Again and again. One mare after another. On and on.
And in that endless spiral of indulgence, corruption, and perversion—

Kardak eventually got bored of mares.
Stallions.
Humans.

Other beasts.
Now his lust didn’t even distinguish species.
Even the claim that he only did it once per partner, only came once—he didn’t bother keeping that anymore.

“……Fucking disgusting.”
All manner of sexual perversions and dark, twisted fetishes—stuff that should’ve been buried deep in the darkest corners of someone’s soul—now unfolded endlessly in front of our eyes.
This wasn’t something to just laugh off anymore.

Kardak’s lust had gone far beyond the bounds of anything remotely normal.
As if trying to test how far depravity could go, the scene spiraled into madness—
—Then vanished.

As if wiped away.
Silence.
The storm of sexual frenzy that had raged just moments ago had passed, and it felt like we had entered the eye of the hurricane at last.

Far in the distance—
A massive stallion stood, staring down at us.
[I think I was better off being a virgin, Amayel. I didn’t have any mating experience. Sure, that’s embarrassing. But it wasn’t disgusting.]

At Kon’s words, I nodded.
“You defeated someone you were never supposed to beat through effort alone. He lost and couldn’t endure the shame, so he took the easy way out—and got twisted for it. I think you’re way cooler, Kon. I don’t care if you’re a pony. You’re the coolest unicorn I know.”
[Like you know any other unicorns besides me, Kardak, and Lu.]

Kon gave a soft snort.
And then the smile vanished.
His gaze turned forward.

He was staring straight at Kardak.
[…Amayel.]
“Say it.”

[I’ve been dragged around all this time, more or less forced into everything you were doing. But I didn’t mind it. I had the goal of getting my body back. And… I didn’t hate you, personally.]
Kon’s body began to swell.
[But just for today, this is my honest, unshaken truth. I don’t care if I die fighting that bastard. I’m going to kill that son of a bitch. Even if it costs me my life, I’ll make sure he can’t lay a single finger on you. Go save Cecilia.]

“Don’t push yourself. Just hold out. You saw what kind of state Valram was in, didn’t you? Before long, Valram’s going to have no choice but to hand Asmodeus back to me with his own hands.”
[Got it.]
That was all Kon said.

His now-enlarged spirit strode forward.
[Pony.]
[Kardak.]

Kardak licked his lips with his tongue.
It was a simple gesture, but the revulsion packed into that one movement pushed past any tolerable threshold.
[What, came here hoping to get fucked? I didn’t stop you on purpose. So—how was it, taking a tour of my memories?]

Kon didn’t answer the mocking words.
He just let out a roar of fury and charged.
Psychic energy clashed with psychic energy, and the screeching grind of metal-on-metal echoed out.

Up until just moments ago, Kardak had looked smug and relaxed—but now his expression twitched.
[You still think my psychic power’s the same as it was back when I was that worthless unicorn? You have any idea how much divinity I’ve siphoned off from Amayel all this time?!]
As Kon shouted, far off in the distance—

A shimmering mass of light began to appear.
[There!! It’s in there!! That’s where Cecilia is! Go save her, Amayel!!]
It looked like Kon had forcibly twisted a portion of Kardak’s mental space to create an opening.

I started sprinting toward it.
[This little pony bastard, you think you can—!]
[Why’d you kill her!! Why did you kill Lu, you fucking piece of shit!! I don’t care if it wrecks my mind—I’m getting my revenge, you son of a bitch!! AAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!]

Kon’s fury was terrifying.
His storm of psychic rage hit like a bomb, shaking the mental world to its foundations.
Grinding my teeth, I charged into the mass of light.

And before long—
I broke through and leapt into the light.

****
Cecilia.
The Rotplague patient I saved.

Our first meeting hadn’t exactly been a beautiful one.
She had been a wreck—falling apart atop a bed.
In any case.

She had been just one of many, many patients I’d saved.
And after that, there were so many incidents and emergencies erupting around us that, if I’m being honest, I’d kind of forgotten about her.
But it seemed she had never forgotten about me.

The moment I dove into the light—
More precisely, the moment I entered Cecilia’s mind—
“Where the hell do you think you’re crawling in this time, you bastard?!”

I was met with the sight of Cecilia charging at me with a club in hand.
“C–Cecilia!! It’s me!!”
I frantically waved my arms and blurted it out. She stopped cold, gripping a black club glowing with seething flames.

“…Saint?”
“I’m here to save you. Are you okay?”
At my words, Cecilia screamed at me.

“‘Save me’?! Saint!! Even if it means abandoning someone like me, you have to survive! Why would you come in here just to save me?!”
“Calm down! I came in with a plan. I needed to get close to Valram anyway. Saving you was just part of the deal.”
“You really don’t take care of yourself, Saint. Have you ever stopped to think about what you mean to all of us?”

Her bold words made me laugh.
“I know. Don’t worry. I’ll get you out of here safely. I promise. Cecilia.”
She looked at me quietly… and then smiled.

It wasn’t a joyful smile.
Nor a sorrowful one.
It was the smile of someone deeply embarrassed.

“Never thought I’d live to see the day someone else stepped into my mind and got a front-row seat to my memories. And it just had to be the one person I didn’t want seeing them.”
“…What are you talking about?”
“I’m begging you, please don’t say anything. Just stay quiet. And when this is over, please just leave. Say nothing. Please.”

Only then did I finally realize what kind of state her mental world was in.
Pink.
Her entire mind was bathed in soft pink light.

And at the center of that pink-hued world…
Hold on.
Is that me?

Why the hell am I standing there like some Brazilian Jesus statue at the very heart of Cecilia’s mind?
And why is there a heart mark on my chest…?
Ah.

Aaaah.
Ah………
“Do you… maybe… like me—?”

The brilliant daughter of Karma Company, always so bold and cool-headed.
Now, she collapsed into herself, face buried in her hands, unable to say a word in reply.
Good god.

Lucifer and Valram were locked in battle, Asmodeus had fallen into Valram’s hands, the world might literally be ending—
And Cecilia’s mind was just… unbearably, overwhelmingly pink.
