This is Not How You Use a Villainess Sir

chapter 2

Chapter 2: Sir, That’s Not How You Use a Bad Woman

……

Amidst sighs, Chu Yan arrived at the city on the border of the Dead Sea.

Paradise City.

At the city gate, only a lady and a disheveled, dirty-clothed captain of the guards welcomed him.

“The lord has arrived, feel free to look around, I still have to guard.”

The captain, with dark circles under his eyes, spoke in a casual manner and left straight away.

The lady’s attitude was much better, she was beautiful and s*xy, a tube top vest revealing the ample scenery of the north, a flat belly outlined with mermaid lines, casually draped in a neat leather jacket.

As Chu Yan sized her up, she was also sizing him up.

The woman’s lips curled into a fox-like charming smile, she reached out familiarly and hooked his shoulder, her body fragrance wafting over:

“Normally, it should be those nobles doing the introduction and guiding, but well…

One could say you’re not hazardous enough, not even qualified to be locked up here.

The first and second floors are the prison areas, while the upper levels are the lord’s residence.

Janette introduced him along the way, and just as they reached the main gate, a woman’s voice came from inside:

“The new lord has arrived, everyone back to your cells, no loitering outside.”

Her tone was unhurried.

Chu Yan’s feelings were a tad complex as he turned to ask:

“Do the prisoners here actually have free time to move around?”

Janette smiled and stroked Chu Yan’s head, comforting him:

“Don’t worry, everyone abides by the rules. They’ll return to their cells when it’s time, very trouble-free~”

Chu Yan didn’t quite know what to say.

He hadn’t even toured Paradise City, yet his dwelling place had already surpassed his expectations.

Not to mention that the felons and the lord lived in the same place, these people who should be confined to their cells could still wander freely.

Could it really be that they won’t sneak up in the middle of the night and slit his throat?

“Are you sure it’s going to be trouble-free?”

“Of course, my dear lord~ See, I’ve returned just in time!”

Janette’s face was serious, yet she was also saddened by Chu Yan’s doubts.

“Hmm?”

Chu Yan felt something was missed.

At that moment, a woman in military uniform was approached, holding a pocket watch, and said indifferently:

“Janette, you’re two minutes late, take the keys and return to your cell.”

“Just two minutes, round it off and it’s not late. Considering my past severe tardiness, it’s as if I’ve come back early~”

Under Chu Yan’s astonished gaze, Janette took the keys and headed towards a room, not forgetting to blow a seductive kiss to Chu Yan before closing the door.

Following that, the military-clad woman, who seemed like a female jailer, also locked herself in a cell.

At the castle gate, a desolate sea breeze blew.

Chu Yan stood alone in disarray.

No officers from the Dead Sea border came to meet him; instead, it was the dangerous prisoners who led him here for a tour???

After a long silence, he muttered to himself:

“This high-stakes game…”

Chapter 2: Both are drifters in this world, why bother knowing each other if we share the same bed

Dragonflame City.

To be named “Dragonflame” speaks volumes of this city-state’s standing within the dragonkin family.

Today marks a month since Chu Yan set off to assume his lordship at the Dead Sea border.

Isha conveyed this news to her most beloved woman, Tiffany Han Baal.

Indeed, Isha’s desire for her cousin Chu Yan to impregnate her stems from her love affair with an endlessly charming woman, namely Jia.

Such a relationship is trivial among common folk, but among dragonkin, it’s a taboo of the highest order, even more severe than slaying the clan leader.

A clan leader’s death can be substituted, affecting only a brief period.

But an abundance of such forbidden relationships casts a shadow of extinction over the future of the dragonkin family!

And the simplest way to break this taboo is to bear a dragonkin child.

If you have a child, your word is law!

If you give birth to twins, you could even take the clan leader for a ride.

“Isha, you’re too impulsive. How could you involve him? Chu Yan won’t survive at the Dead Sea border. If people find out, you’re essentially handing them leverage over you,” Tiffany said, helplessly massaging her forehead .

“I was merely intimidating the lad, trying to trick him into accompanying me to the Sanctum of Fostering. In truth, I’m saving him,” Isha protested, spreading her hands in innocence.

“What do you mean?”

Tiffany pressed, not suspecting Isha of lying.

“The trial at the Dead Sea border is arranged by the family elders, not by me. If he goes with me to the Sanctum, he could even avoid the trial.”

So that’s how it is.

Tampering with trials isn’t something Isha would do; at most, she’d resort to drugging and kidnapping.

But looking at it this way, is someone among the family elders targeting Chu Yan?

Considering Chu Yan’s unique background and his foster mother, Tiffany’s interest was piqued, and she said:

“Now, if Chu Yan were to die unfortunately, and he left some last words for his foster mother, then, Isha, you wouldn’t be able to clear your name. I better go to the Dead Sea border and protect him for a bit.”

Isha had important tasks at hand and couldn’t travel that far, making Tiffany the best choice for the job.

Thinking of Tiffany’s absence, the dragonkin knight felt discontent.

But it was Tiffany’s decision, and it made sense. Despite her reluctance and dissatisfaction, Isha had to respect it.

“Once my mission is over, I’ll join you at the Dead Sea border. Don’t be too protective of Chu Yan; ensuring he doesn’t die is enough, as that is his trial.”

“I’ll go to the executioner to borrow an identity for convenience in Elysium City.”

“That works. While you’re at it, ask the executioner if he can ease the difficulty of that boy’s assessment task.”

Isha felt a weary heart; indeed, hesitation leads to defeat.

Had she chosen to calmly drug Chu Yan back then, would she be facing all these troubles now?

Chu Yan stepped into his floor, which, despite the old facilities, was still quite clean.

He approached the calendar and circled a date with a goose feather pen, the fifth of next month.

This was the first evaluation day, akin to a midterm exam, with the results contributing to the final outcome.

Though it’s said to be next month, it’s already the end of the current one, leaving Chu Yan only ten days.

The management of a territory involves both internal and external affairs.

But for Chu Yan, these were secondary concerns; his first task was to address the lack of manpower.

Without help, he didn’t even know the current state of the Dead Sea border or what needed to be dealt with.

Blind to intelligence, he couldn’t make a single move.

Yet, the consequence of failing the trial was something he couldn’t bear—being thrown into the Sanctum of Breeding as a stud… a dragon stud, at that. Who could withstand that?

“When faced with trouble, sleep on it first.”

Resolved, Chu Yan headed to his bedroom.

As he pushed open the door, his steps halted at the sight of a fair, plump bottom on the bed!

Amidst the crumpled white bedding, a buttock clad in tight shorts was exposed, its round curves sketching the concept of the golden ratio.

And so, she spent the entire day tidying up. After organizing her thoughts, she cleaned the entire floor.

Then she moved into her freshly cleaned bedroom and blissfully nestled into the cozy bedding.

But now someone tells her this is the lord’s room, and she cleaned it for nothing???

Chu Yan, upon hearing her situation, suddenly felt a bit ashamed.

When he arrived, seeing the place so clean, he wondered if the local nobles had kindly cleaned up for him?

“It’s okay, I don’t mind you sharing the living space and sleeping together.”

Chu Yan, without removing his eye mask, patted the bed beside him generously and warmly, offering the hospitality of a host.

Just sleep!

“You’re quite generous…”

Xia Nuoya’s feelings were mixed as she noticed that Chu Yan had no strange body odor, his face was delicate and androgynous, even describable as “good-looking.”

So she decided not to fuss over it anymore, and lay back down in the bed, her sleeping posture serene.

She needed sleep to ease the fatigue in her heart.

Chu Yan suddenly asked, “Can you tell me why you were locked up here?”

“What’s the point of asking? Do you want to make sure I’m not a villain, worried about your own safety? Then you’ll be disappointed. Everyone locked up here is a dangerous individual with a risk rating of A or higher. “

“I believe that a person with a good behind can’t be all that bad, I’m quite certain.”

“Huh?”

Xia Nuoya found it bewildering. She turned to look at the handsome lord beside her. His eye mask had never been removed; he hadn’t even seen her face, yet he made such a confident, odd remark.

“Lord, do you even know what you’re talking about?”

“I do. Your behind speaks to me of injustice, anger, unwillingness, helplessness, and self-mockery.”

“……?”

Indeed, what kind of normal person would take up a lordship in such a place?

Xia Nuoya accepted her situation, but Chu Yan calmly asked again:

“So, can you tell me about yourself?”

Some things indeed needed an outlet, even if it was just a word or two.

Asked twice, Xia Nuoya, on a whim, decided to share the troubles in her heart and casually mentioned:

“I practiced forbidden black magic. When I eliminated a rampaging demon, I revealed this fact.”

Black magic is taboo in many places. It’s powerful, prone to losing control, and often comes with a price.

No one knows whether the emergence of black magic might be hiding a live sacrifice behind it.

“Then you were reported?” Chu Yan guessed the outcome.

“Yes, heh…”

Xia Nuoya gave a self-deprecating smile.

“Ridiculous,” Chu Yan chuckled out loud.

“……”

The self-mockery on Xia Nuoya’s face gradually faded as she looked expressionlessly at the man beside her, clenching her fists.

“What I mean is, I’ve found someone I can invite to be my companion, and I’m thrilled to death.”

Chu Yan took off his eye mask, seeing Xia Nuoya’s face clearly, and thought to himself, “Just as I thought.”

A woman with a nice figure is bound to have a beautiful face.

This assertion, Chu Yan had already verified with his foster mother and Xia Nuoya!

“Miss Xia Nuoya, your crimes, in my view, are not even worth mentioning. Would your mind become one of mine, working for me?”

“”

Xia Nuoya paused, silently sizing up Chu Yan’s entire appearance.

This guy, with a delicate appearance that naturally endears him to others, would mostly be a handsome gentleman if he tied up his long hair. Now with his hair draped over his shoulders, there’s a bit of ambiguity to his gender.

But whether it’s because he’s not fully awake or for some other reason, his eyes are a bit lifeless, like a listless, lazy salted fish.

Faced with the new lord’s invitation, Xia Nuoya didn’t hesitate to say:

“I do mind, I’m tired, I don’t want to work for anyone anymore.”

“It’s okay, a great man once said ‘Don’t give up on your dreams, keep sleeping.’ Now is the crucial time to sleep.”

Chu Yan’s regret was swept away in an instant, he put his eye mask back on, and without another word, he curled back into the bed.

“……”

Xia Nuoya really couldn’t fathom this bizarre lord, but the thought that he, as a lord, had fallen to share a bed with a dangerous element made her feel a lot better.

Someone was worse off than her, and that comforted her heart.

Chu Yan’s breathing gradually became even and steady, clearly he had peacefully fallen asleep. Listening to his breathing, the knight’s heart’s waves of irritation calmed somewhat.

He wasn’t without reason; confusion is for the future, but sleepiness is for the present.

Don’t give up on your dreams, sleep first.
