The World Tamer Harem System: The Omniverse Will Be My Harem

Chapter 6: Chapter 5: First Muzan Encounter

Standing in the living room of the Kamado house, Yiggrit turned to the front door, and then looked back at Nezuko, Kie, and Tanjiro, before sighing.

(I'll need to get them out of here, but if I do I'll lose out on demon Nezuko… She can't speak while she's a demon though, and it's not like I will gain anything from that, plus maybe I can give her other abilities later… Yeah, I don't see any benefit for me in letting her become a demon.) He concluded having just noticed he didn't think of it before.

"Tanjiro, get your mother, your sister, and your other siblings and run. There's a demon outside." Yiggrit says casually despite knowing it was unlikely they would believe him at all.

"What?!… What do you mean there's a demon outside? Is this a joke or maybe?.. Are you talking about some rare or dangerous animal? If that's the case I'm sure we can take care of it together." Tanjiro raised an eyebrow and asked deeply confused.

"Hum… Yiggrit, son, I understand if you aren't comfortable staying the night here, but please don't say such ominous things." Kie said looking at him with worry.

"Urgh, what's wrong with you just saying distasteful stuff nonstop." Nezuko narrowed her eyes not surprised so much as disappointed.

"I'm not joking. You can ignore me all you want, but I don't recommend it." Yiggrit says casually and walks towards the door.

"Oh come on! Just how much of a nuisance are you? Can't you stop for a second?! Actually, answer sincerely this time, none of your stupid games or crazy nonsense." Nezuko had her patience tested by him, as he just won't stop at all, walking up to him and pulling him by the arm.

"Nezuko, please come down, I'm sure he doesn't mean to cause trouble. If we just let him explain, we'll surely reach an agreement." Tanjiro followed speaking to her.

"Listen to your brother, there is no need to get so aggressive especially not with a welcome guest," Kie added feeling things were escalating a bit too much.

"You too keep defending him, but you don't even really know him! If you had heard half of what I did, you would hate him for sure! He's a-" Nezuko continued her rant becoming increasingly frustrated.

Knock knock

At that time the sound coming from the door interrupted it all and caused everyone to turn to it.

"I really mean it, Tanjiro. Grab them and run." Yiggrit repeated himself as he reached out to grab the doorknob.

Hearing this and getting an odd feeling, Tanjiro felt conflicted, this couldn't be serious, right?

While Kie looked at the door wondering who it could be at a time like this, completely past visit hours. Then there was Nezuko who still wanted answers from Yiggrit.

Not waiting any longer, Yoggrit opened the door, and let in the cold as well as as some snow from the outside as the moon stood there in the starry sky above.

In front of the door, however, standing right at the edge of the darkness covering the night, there was a man.

He was a tall man with a lean muscular build along with an unnaturally pale skin complexion that can be easily confused as being unhealthy and sickly. He has curly black hair and sharp, almond-shaped eyes. His irises are cat-like in appearance and are plum-red. He also possesses sharp, blue nails on his hands. Physically, he appears to be in his twenties.

In terms of clothing, he was wearing a white fedora with a red ribbon and a somewhat extravagant outfit, consisting of an embroidered black tuxedo and a white tie over a black dress shirt and white dress pants. He also wore black loafers.

"Good night, may I help you?" Yiggrit asked calmly with a slight smile.

"You… Huh… What an odd turn… Good night. I'm in search of a specific flower, the blue spider lily, and I heard whispers of it existing in this area. Do you know anything about it? I would be willing to handsomely compensate you if you do." Muzan spoke with a surprised yet calm tone in his voice, his eyes focused on Yiggrit for a few seconds before he continued as if nothing had happened.

(That look he gave me… Can he sense the demon blood in me? But it should be unrelated to him, right? No, if that was the case something would have happened by now.) Yiggrit had his thoughts focused on the matter before he shook it off.

There was some silence as Nezuko, Tanjiro, and Kie all felt a sense of uneasiness, but could not fully understand why, their eyes focusing on this mysterious man who just showed up at their door.

Before anyone else could say anything, Yiggrit continued.

"No, we don't know anything about it."

"Ah, is that so? Then you have little use. I truly urge you all to think about it a bit more." Muzan grabbed Yiggrit by the neck and lifted him with a single hand his fingers and nails digging into the skin letting blood flow, still sounding and seeming calm.

This startled the three behind the blue-haired young man. Nezuko's eyes widened and she stepped back in reflex. Kie covered her mouth and did not know what to do or say.

"You! Mister, please let go of him!" Tanjiro was in shock but even through that, he spoke.

"Hum… You… You have such an annoying face… and those earrings." Muzan for the first time focused on him, and all he could feel liking at the boy was anger, a sort of irrational distaste.

"Grab… them.. all! Tan… Ji… Ro. Now!" Yiggrit said having trouble speaking while he was being choked.

Not knowing what else to do, or what was going on, Tanjiro did as he was told, and grabbed Kie, and Nezuku by the hand before running for the rooms where the others were sleeping.

"Hmph! What foolishness is this? Even if they were to all run to the best of their abilities, they have no way of escaping me." Muzan was unphased and didn't even try to stop them, why bother with such a pointless effort? "Now you, your different… You're not a human, are you? But how?! I never transformed you, and I'm sure you're not one of Rui's creations either… Which means you know where the blue spider lily is, or at least someone who does? Answer!"

(With this they are all in the same room finally, now I just have to focus, and opned! The heavenly life sense is truly a marvel for allowing me to see everything in my perception range that has chi.) Yiggrit thought to himself as he had completed what he set up to do, but it was only the beginning.

There was no response to Muzan's questions and he was not very fond of that, slamming the blue-haired boy to the ground.

"I can't even transform you?! How useless! Just when I need it the most... It seems I'll have to resort to the old methods to get you to talk." Muzan sighed and dragged him deeper into the rooms before he realized something.

(They are long gone! I have thought about this beforehand, unless I let you, you aren't going to get the Kamado.) Yiggrit thought to himself as he was ready for it.

"What did you do? I'm sure it was your doing… You're quite resourceful I'll admit, but I'm sure I can find them, and even if I don't, making you talk is just a matter of time." Muzan lifted him and looked at him with narrowed eyes as he spoke.

"Let's… Talk…" Yiggrit managed to let out.

This caused Muzan to let go of him, and once he had his feet on the ground, he made some distance from Demon King, as his neck slowly but surely began healing.

"Hahahaha, your regeneration ability is pitiful and here I thought you could be interesting, but it's more you're just a cheap copy, even worse than the ones I made myself." Muzan wasn't worried or hurried at all, laughing in the face of what could only be called a weak opponent.

Not minding that Yiggrit walked into the kitchen in there, he grabbed a box of matches, then a tea set tray, which he then brought with him after keeping the matches.

(I wonder if he's just an idiot or too arrogant to see it, but I could have run away the same way I let the Kamado go just now. Though that would be risky, there's no telling how quickly he could find us if he tried, or if he even would…) Yiggrit sighed frustrated at the man before him as he put down the tray and served himself some tea.

There was no argument from Muzan who simply sat down and looked at him, waiting for his answers, unbothered with the tea.

"You really should relax more, you know," Yiggrit commented as he drank some tea.

"Tell me about the blue spider lily and how you become a demon, or what you are. My patience is great, but once it runs out there is no second chance." Muzan responded completely uninterested in what he just said.

"How about a little game instead? If you win, I'll tell you exactly what you want to know, no games, no lies, no wasting any more time." Yiggrit proposed before sipping on the tea.

"So, you admit to knowing… I could just read your memory or consume you and take all you have as mine. Why should I be reduced to playing your meager games?" Muzan answered with a face of disinterest.

"If you were going to do that, I would not be here anymore. I'm sure there is no real risk to you in joining a bit of a game. The reward is quite the catch if I do say so myself." Yiggrit replied finishing his teacup.

"What's your game? If you're so inclined to engage in pointlessness allow me to assist you." Muzan agreed, a slight glimmer of frustration overshadowed by curiosity.

"Let's play tag," Yiggrit said with a completely serious expression.

"By no means could you be honestly serious about this, right?" Muzan could only raise an eyebrow at the words said to him.

"Of course, I am, it would be a great way to end this." Yiggrit nodded sticking to it.

"How improbable… Of all who could have had the knowledge I seek, it had to be a complete moron. Fine, I'll defeat you in your own childish game." Muzan looked down at him, a cold expression on his face.

(He's being surprisingly cooperative, it's not like he has anything to lose from this, except some time. He's so much stronger than me, that I realistically can't escape in his presence, and even though he said he thinks I'm 'inferior', he seems interested in studying me to fully understand what's going on, and because of all that, I don't believe he'll try to kill me just yet.) Yiggrit concluded in his mind smiling internally as things were somewhat going according to plan.

"Why do you even want the Blue spider lily? What's your end goal here? If you don't mind me asking." He got up and began walking towards the outside.

Then the Demon King followed almost bemused by the one before him, what an intriguing creature, one that would be a waste to kill, for quite a few reasons in his eyes.

"I suppose the one who will perish to me one way or another can know as much. It's quite simple, I wish to be eternal, a true immortal, I would never allow any other to take my life, even death itself can fade away for all I care, I will conquer the sun and then truly stand above all ready to move on with my plans." Muzan responded calmly completely unbothered.

Soon they were both outside, Yiggrit stopped to look at Muzan, and for a few seconds, no words were exchanged.

They simply stood there as the snow fell under a lush night.

"I see, I guess in a way, we aren't too different, I also wish to be eternal, but I don't stop there, I want more so much more. I want to master it all, anything I can get my hands on, conquer the world, and a harem of infinite women. I guess these could be said to be my main goals." Yiggrit spoke casually as he sat down on the snow.

"Hahahaha!… I believe I have not laughed in ages, Conquer the world? Master it all? And most absurd of all, infinite women?! Hehehe, truly you are the most unusual thing I've ever met. I have many decisional idiots who can't properly handle themselves, and you sound a bit like a mix of a bunch of them.

"Just another bug so busy looking down they didn't realize what's above has already decided to squash them. You have no right to talk of such accomplishment, you are just another nobody with far too many dreams, so we better start before I lose my patience and cut them short." Muzan laughed not having expected to encounter the kind of person he would have turned into an upper moon, was his blood effective on him.

"That's not wrong... I wonder what I should say at a moment like this." Yiggrit picked a match from the matchbox in his clothes and he set the match on fire stopping it from going out by making his hand into a sort of dome, before lowering it to the ground. "Oh… I know…"

"I've had it with your slow preparations! Get on with it or die." Muzan no longer had it in him to let this little creature have an advantage against him just because of his knowledge.

"Happy New Year!" Yiggrit randomly blurred out, as he lit it up, opening a gate back to the Kamado house under himself, and falling into it.

"You bastard you dare?!" Muzan was frustrated and yelled before he could do anything about it, however.

All the fireworks Yiggrit previously set up pointed at the location where he was standing from 26 of 27 small-handed fireworks and 5 out of 5 big ones, all came to blow up at the center, and they blew up on Muzan.

Explosions went off like popcorn, one after the other in a flashbang of colors and sound that echoed throughout the mountain.

While the 27th of the small fireworks went up to the sky, leaving behind the word help with its explosion.

Back in the Kamado house, Yiggrit could both see, and hear the fireworks going off.

"He's going to be mad… But that wasn't meant to kill him or anything, just blind and annoy the hell out of him, oh, and also be a massive point of attention.

"I imagine the demon slayers will be quicker to get here after all that. Now I just have to keep stalling him, but this will be hard now that I used all my leeway with Muzan." He said to himself as he sighed knowing this would be painful, but it was not a fight he could afford to lose.
