(Ryoto's pov)
The morning came, and unsurprisingly, I was the first one to wake up. I did a quick scan with my Haki to check if anything had changed during the night. Don't take me wrong. If any kind of danger approached the cave, I would immediately wake up ready to attack, but I wasn't constantly scanning my surroundings.
To my surprise, I found a new aura in my range, and it was a presence very familiar to me. To be honest, I wasn't expecting help to arrive that fast, and I doubt that she came here to help us. All of this is just a happy little accident.
Without waking anyone up in the cave, I vanished by using Shunpo.

I appeared behind my favourite school nurse as she was inspecting some kind of plant. She didn't notice a new presence behind her. She seems a bit sloppy when she is on an unknown planet. That, or I'm just that good at hiding... Yeah, I'm probably just that good.
I decided to wait until she finished studying. I didn't want to disturb her when she was so focused.
"Interesting..." She muttered to herself as she wrote something in her notebook.
"What is?" I couldn't stop myself from asking.
Mikado immediately turned around with a pistol-like weapon pointed at me with her eyes narrowed. I could feel her emotions with Haki. She was frightened that she couldn't sense me while I was so close, but it quickly changed to relief and suspicion. Relief that it was just me but suspicion that she could find me here. Without lowering her weapon, she spoke.
"Tell me something only Ryoto knows."
At her request, I opened my eyes. That was all the proof she needed. My eyes aren't easily replicable. I am also pleased that she is so careful while traveling. I would hate it if something happened to her on one of her research trips. I wouldn't want to go hunting again so soon. I retired from the position of Captain of Squad 2 already, after all.
Seeing my unique eyes, the school nurse finally lowered her guard and put away her gun.
"Ryoto? What are you doing here? I doubt you are on this planet for sighting."
"We wanted to have a fun weekend on Okinawa beach, but Lala's machine teleported us to another planet. It happened yesterday, and we are sleeping in a cave not a long way from here."
Hearing my explanation, Mikado couldn't help but smile and shake her head in a good mood.
"Nothing ever boring with you around, is it Ryoto. Do you need a lift back to Earth, or do you want to keep having your vacation on this planet? Although, as a school nurse, I would advise against missing your school days."
She teased me, but living with Yoruichi for so long made me pretty immune to this level of teasing. To be fair, I wasn't that affected by teasing before, either, but I feel like I achieved another level thanks to her.
"I would prefer if you gave us a ride home if possible. It's not that bad here. Dinosaurs are cool and all, but I would prefer relaxing at home instead."
"Are you sure? I can come back in a week if you want~. Not many people would turn down a chance of being stranded with beautiful girls."
Not seeing any reaction from me made Mikado give it one more try.
"Many beautiful girls and two boys who all want to get back. Come on, Mikado. I would like to get back before anyone else wakes up and start panicking because I'm not there." I rolled my eyes.
"Come on, Ryoto, I just jest. Show me the way to your cave."
"I'll do you one better."
Without clarifying, I showed up next to her in less than a second, picked her up like a princess, and flash-stepped back to the cave. The only sound in the forest was a scream that was quickly fading.
"KYAAAAaaaaa..."

"..aaaaAAAAAaaaa..."
It did require using a few steps, but I was back. Carrying Mikado didn't slow me down a bit. I'm not sure if it was my spider or Byakko's strength that allowed it. If anyone asks, it's 100% Ryoto's strength, though.
I put my doctor on her feet, and her appearance changed a bit. Her hair and clothes were more dishevelled than before. She looked like she had died and had seen a face of God. I also need to comment that her scream was incredibly cute, and it was visible on my face because Ryouko gave me a stinky eye as she was fixing her appearance.
"Not. A. Word."
I didn't answer, but my smile must have widened because she narrowed her eyes even more.
"I don't know what you are talking about~."
I couldn't keep teasing her because we were interrupted.
"Ryoto?"
It didn't take long for Lala to wake up. We were sleeping in the same bed, and when my body heat vanished, it made her miss something, so she woke up.
I cupped my mouth with my hand and yelled back, "I'm outside! I found a strange animal and brought it back! Do you want to see it?"
I looked back to Mikado, who had a flat expression. I think I'm winning.
Curious about the strange animal I mentioned, Lala was exiting the cave and saw me with Mikado. I couldn't help myself, so I got behind our nurse and picked her up as if she were a lion cub. I did it effortlessly.
"Look! Can we keep her?"
"Now, now, Ryoto. Don't make a promise that you can't keep." She teased, and I was tempted to throw her upwards. That's an intrusive thought if I've ever seen one.
I put her down and focused on Lala, who giggled because of our interaction.
"I found help. Wake up the others. We are leaving this planet."

We were walking towards Mikado's ship. She didn't know exactly where I had taken her because I was moving too fast for her to see. From her perspective, she was in one place and then in another moments later. She felt the speed, though. Thankfully, she had some kind of GPS that could lead us back to her ship. Even if she didn't have it, I could just get her back to the place I took her from, and then she would know how to get back.
I couldn't help but look smug the whole way—the kind of way that translated to 'I told you so'. It was mostly directed towards Kotegawa, who didn't meet my eyes at all. I was enjoying myself, and it was obvious to anyone who had eyes. We only spent one night here, and it wasn't so bad compared to my year-long stay in Hueco Mundo, where I was forced to drink blood because I couldn't find any water until I met Tier.
Good times.
Soon enough, we were near Ryouko's vehicle to the point it was in our eyesight. Most of our group felt relieved knowing we would return home soon enough. Everything was looking up... and that's when everything went down.
Suddenly, I felt a heavy presence coming from behind, and quickly checking everyone, it seemed that I was the only one aware of it. My instincts flared up, and I turned around to catch a fist aimed at my face.
The punch being stopped created a small shockwave that notified everyone of a new arrival. The punch itself wasn't that strong compared to what I had experienced in the past, but I was aware that that person was holding back. It was just a playful punch to say hello—to test me.
"Dad!!?"
Lala asked in confusion. The confusion came from my father-in-law's new look. Although he still looked youthful, he didn't look like a kid anymore.
"Hey, sweetie, " he said to Lala. And hello, son-in-law." Addressing me, his grin widened to the point that it looked unnatural. That smile made me realize that I won't leave this planet without annoyance.
