The Walking Dead: reborn as Carl

"Beth, calm down and listen to me carefully. Can you calm down first?"

"How do you want me to calm down? Tell me how to calm down."

Karl was slightly startled, and uttered a sentence with some difficulty, "Beth, don't do something that you will regret because of your emotions, okay? At least calm down and give me a chance, okay."

Beth struggled a few more times, and her wrist was a little painful from being grabbed, but Beth no longer cared about that. She looked at Carl who was sitting on the ground in an awkward position, pitiful Carl.

"I can calm down, and I can give you a chance, yeah."

"Thank you." Carl was immediately delighted.

"I'll give you a chance. Either you take back what you said, or I can pretend that nothing happened. Then we can have a good sleep. We can still see each other tomorrow, and we will forget what happened tonight."

Beth paused and touched Carl's cheek with her right hand that was not caught.

"Or, you continue to look for your damn Penny, and from now on you and your damn Penny live here and enjoy your sweetness, and between us, we will just pretend that nothing has happened and be strangers."

After speaking, Beth squatted in front of Karl and looked at him with trembling eyes.

"Now, Carl, you choose."

"Beth, this isn't really a multiple choice question."

"select!"

"I choose you, and only you, but before that, do you want to hear a story?"

"No, I don't want to hear anything now!"

"For everything I've been through, you just need to give me some time."

"No!"

"Yeah." Carl began to talk to himself.
