The Walking Dead: reborn as Carl

Chapter 143: Chapter 146 It seems

"This will be your new home from now on."

Sean looked at everyone and smiled.

Those who remained in the prison also came over, except for a few people who were on guard.

Everyone who came to the prison for the first time was looking around curiously.

Sean gave everyone some time to look around, and he first looked for Daryl on the side and asked him something in a low voice.

Carl finally got out of the car, and after Beth got out, she ran to Hershel, and Glenn also went to find Maggie.

Carl looked at the people in front of him. They were all very busy, as if there was no one around him.

After Carl got to the truck, he opened the compartment with some difficulty. There was some hay on the floor inside the compartment, and six horses, five of which were adults, still seemed a bit crowded.

But fortunately, the car was not going very fast, and it seemed that nothing unexpected happened to the guys in the car.

"Carl, why are you calling the carriage in such a hurry?" Maggie came over when she saw Carl open the carriage.

"I think Bucephalus will be bored inside. Maybe we should settle them down first and decide whether to let them live in the building or build a stable outside for them."

"You should know this place better than me. Let me see where is the right place." Maggie stepped into the carriage, found Bucephalus' reins and handed them to Carl.

"You just take care of the other horses. I'm going to take Bucephalus for a walk first." Carl held the reins, looked at Bucephalus, and felt better.

Bucephalus was not too afraid of the new environment. Instead, he looked around excitedly, tilted his head and pulled the reins.

"You're too impatient. Let's go." Carl led Bucephalus out of the inner wall and came to the wide lawn outside.

As soon as he came out, Bucephalus lowered his head and tore off some grass and chewed it into his mouth. The grass was tender now, and Carl knew that Bucephalus would like it.

However, Carl did not stay for too long. He took Bucephalus and walked towards the gate. Carl wanted to make sure the door was closed first.

There was a guardhouse next to the door, and Oscar was sitting in it.

"Oscar, is the door locked?"

"You can check."

"I just have doubts, not distrust. Thank you for your hard work."

Carl nodded, turned around and led Bucephalus away, then went to look at the gap behind the barbed wire. The gap had been connected by some wire.

Although it is not as strong as the original wire mesh and not as dense, it is fine to use for the time being.

"Young man, I know you want to run away, go ahead, but don't be stupid. If you are in danger, run to me. I believe you are not stupid."

Carl loosened the reins, patted Bucephalus on the head, leaned over to give it careful instructions in its ear, and patted it again after giving it the instructions.

Bucephalus Severus turned his head to look at Carl, then slowly walked out a few steps, and looked back at Carl. Carl was standing there looking at it with a smile.

So Bucephalus didn't care about anything, he started to jog, then his speed got faster and faster, but Bucephalus didn't leave Carl's sight, he was running in circles.

Looking at Bucephalus' figure, Carl still had a smile on his face at first, but then he thought of something and the smile disappeared.

Why is it that getting along with people is not as easy as getting along with a horse?

"Carl, where are you?"

Sean's voice came from the intercom pinned to his chest.

Well, Carl carrying a walkie-talkie has become as much a habit as carrying a gun.

The role of a walkie-talkie is no less important than that of a Glock, and sometimes it is even more important.

There are quite a few walkie-talkies in the team. In addition to the few they have, they also got some police walkie-talkies at the police station. The quality is very good. The only drawback is that the size is a bit large for Carl.

"What's up, Sean? I was just wandering around."

"I'm about to talk to everyone. Didn't you give me a lot of instructions? Why don't you come and watch?"

"You can put the meaningless stuff first. You know what I mean. As for the really important stuff, put it at the end. I'll just listen to the end later."

"Damn it, Carl, you give me a weird feeling sometimes, just like the disdain of old Robert when he gave the election speech."

"Well, what's the difference? Okay, that's it. I'll be over in about 20 minutes. Don't say too much meaningless words."

"Shit, okay."

After the call ended, Carl looked at Moore, who had been standing beside him for a while.

"Moir, what's wrong?"

"It's okay. I don't want to listen to that bullshit. I'm just strolling around like you."

Carl nodded and walked towards Bucephalus, Mor followed Carl, and Carl looked at Mor again.

Moore laughed and said, "Kid, do you know what the tone of your voice sounded like when you spoke to that policeman just now?"

"What?"

"It's just like a father and son, but you are the father and he is the son." Sean laughed exaggeratedly.

"Moir, do you know what it means that ivory can't come out of a dog's mouth?"

"What do you mean? How can a dog have tusks?"

"nothing."

Carl's lips curled up slightly, but the curve disappeared in an instant. What Moore said was not completely wrong.

It seemed that Sean's attitude was a little too casual, or rather, it sounded too commanding.

"Okay, if there's nothing else, I'm going to go there. You should go there too. The arrangements later will have something to do with you."

"Shit, if you have something to say, just tell me."

"It's nothing, just assigning duties so that this prison, our current camp, can run in an orderly manner. After all, there are thirty people now."

"Damn it, no one told me all this in advance. Kid, what position are you giving me? Who's the boss?" Moore was unhappy.

"It's almost time, let's go and take a look." Carl looked at his watch.

Moore followed Carl with a cigarette in his mouth.

Carl walked up to Bucephalus, who was already grazing leisurely with his head down, and grabbed the reins. Bucephalus did not resist and followed Carl.

Although there would normally be no accidents within the barbed wire, Carl was still a little worried that Bucephalus would leave his sight.

"Little ghost, I want to discuss something with you."

"What's the matter?" Carl looked at Moore in surprise. "It's not like you to be so shy."

"Hey, kid, I want a horse, no, two, Daryl would like it too." It was rare for Moore not to swear.

"The horse is not mine, what's the point of you telling me?"

"Shit, you little brat, I know you have a way, you always have a way. Anyway, these horses are just sitting there, why not let us ride them out to hunt? Just tell us whether you will help your uncle More or not."

"I can only say try it. Besides, riding a horse is actually very dangerous. Horses are easily frightened in front of zombies. We have to train them so that they are no longer afraid of zombies."

In addition to Bucephalus, there are five horses. It seems that it would be a good idea to form a cavalry team, and perhaps more horses can be found.

There seems to be quite a few farms near Atlanta that raise horses.
