The Walking Dead: reborn as Carl

Chapter 129: Chapter 132 is coming

It's obviously not a long time.

But a lot of things have become blurry.

Of course, only the memories before that are vague.

And now, everything about what I've been through, everything on the farm, everything about everyone.

Everything is very clear, so clear that it cannot be clearer.

Those people in the prison were actually not that important. They were just supporting roles and an insignificant memory, so Carl almost forgot about them.

"You mean the few people left behind might be in danger?" Daryl raised his eyebrows slightly.

"It's hard to say." Carl said.

"Then I'll go tell them to be careful." Daryl stood up.

"Brother, do you look panicked? Do you want to make another trip now?" Moore grabbed Daryl and said dissatisfiedly.

Sean said, "Darryl, this is really not necessary. If we hurry up, we can start the transfer tomorrow. It's too risky for you to go alone now."

"How much do you know about those prisoners you mentioned? Are they dangerous?" Daryl asked Carl.

"It's not a big problem, Daryl. There's really no need for you to go again now. Those prisoners might be able to be absorbed into our team."

Karl lied. There seemed to be five prisoners in the prison, and there seemed to be two tough guys among the five.

However, it is really not worth it for Daryl to take risks for a few people whose names he may not even remember if he doesn't look at the notebook.

Daryl's brows were still slightly furrowed, but he sat down anyway.

Karl nodded to everyone and said, "You guys continue chatting and make adequate preparations. I'll be leaving first."

"Why don't you come along? Maybe you can give us some advice." Sean said.

"That's not necessary. Let's talk about it after you finish talking. Maybe you can notify others first so that they can be prepared. Okay, I have to go now."

"Okay, see you later." Sean nodded.

Carl waved to a few people and turned to leave.

In fact, these latecomers are not only the people Sean found later, but also the twelve people in Sean Carl's original camp.

There is nothing wrong with leaving, and everyone would be happy to do so if it were determined that another place was safer.

The main problem is Hershel's family, especially Beth, and Carl doesn't know how Beth will react.

The only people Carl cares about are Hershel's family of three, and Beth is the most important among them.

Carl was not in a hurry to return to the small building. It had only been a short time, and Hershel might not have told others.

But Carl was not in the mood to train any skills now, so he went to the stable and led out Bucephalus.

"I don't know whether you are willing or not, but you should move to a new home." Carl looked at Bucephalus and smiled.

"call."

Bucephalus snorted and pushed Carl's arm with his head, motioning for him to hurry up and leave, or he would drag him away.

Carl smiled helplessly and started walking with Bucephalus. He was afraid that he would never have the chance to walk with Bucephalus on the farm again.

As far as he could remember, the prison lawn wasn't that small, and if there was barbed wire, it would have given Bucephalus some freedom.

Although it is relative freedom within the barbed wire, it is already very good.

Being free is precious in itself.

Many people think that freedom has limits, the only difference is the size of the limits.

Looking at Bucephalus's somewhat suppressed steps, Carl wanted to loosen Bucephalus' reins.

Bucephalus seemed to have not run freely for some time, which was not a good thing for the foal's growth.

But Carl still held back and let it run wild. If it encountered any danger, it would be too late for him to regret it.

"Wait a minute. When we get to the prison, I will ask Sean and the others to clean it out thoroughly as soon as possible. Then you will be able to run freely."

After walking Bucephalus for about half an hour, Carl took Bucephalus back to the stable and then returned to the small building.

When I pushed the door open and walked in, I saw only Maggie and Beth in the living room, both sitting on the sofa. The atmosphere was a bit depressing, and Beth's eyes were a little red.

Carl walked silently behind the sofa, behind Beth, and wiped away the tears from the corners of Beth's eyes with his hands.

"Carl? What are you doing?" Beth noticed Carl and was a little flustered.

Carl said softly, "Herschel told you, I know this is a little hard to accept, but there is nothing we can do. The place we go will be safer."

Beth nodded weakly.

Maggie forced a smile. "Karl, I can't imagine how you convinced my father. He actually agreed and even started to persuade us. You know, he should be the one who feels the most uncomfortable."

"Herschel agreed to this for your safety."

This was indeed the reason why Hershel agreed. Carl knew very well that if it weren't for Maggie or Beth, Hershel would probably not be willing to leave even if he was waiting to die on the farm.

"Beth, Carl, maybe I should go and comfort our father. You guys can chat." Maggie was stunned for a moment, then stood up and walked towards Hershel's study.

After Maggie left, Carl looked at Beth and asked softly, "Are you okay?"

"Yeah." Beth nodded and stood up, "Cal, let's go, maybe we should go pack our things, father said it's urgent."

"It doesn't have to be that urgent. You can take everything you want with you." Carl gave a very gentle and healing smile.

"Including the bed?" Beth said with a forced smile.

"This..." Carl was slightly stunned. It was not so easy to move Beth's big bed.

"Just kidding, Carl, how can you be so stupid that you can't even see this." Beth seemed to be in a much better mood and patted Carl on the head.

Carl rubbed his head and smiled helplessly.

After going up to the second floor, opening the door and walking to the bed, Beth was a little dazed again. She said she was packing, but when she really got there, she didn't know where to start. There were so many things she wanted to take away, how could she really take them all away?

Carl took Beth's hand and smiled at her, and Beth smiled back.

"Okay, let's get started. Speaking of which, Carl, how soon shall we set off?"

"Tomorrow or the day after tomorrow," Carl replied.

"Well, it looks like I have to keep one more set of clothes." Beth pulled out a suitcase from the bottom of the closet.

He opened the closet and suddenly looked at Karl, "You go out first, hurry up!"

"Okay, call me if you need anything. I'll be waiting outside."

Karl walked out of the room, closed the door gently, and waited at the door. Karl himself didn't have anything to pack.

Carl had all his important belongings on him, including a watch, two pistols, a dagger, and several magazines.

As for clothes, it's time to change them. Some are too small, so just bring two sets of changes. For the rest, I'll have to find time to find some suitable clothes outside.

Not only Carl and Beth, the whole farm is busy today.

In addition to everyone's personal belongings, there are some more important supplies that also need to be manually counted.

Fortunately, not everyone needs to do some ideological work.
