The Walking Dead: reborn as Carl

Chapter 108: Chapter 111 Snow Color

The snow has accumulated.

The wind was howling, the snow was flying everywhere,

The snowflakes condensed and gradually turned into hail.

Starting last night evening, a cold front arrived in Atlanta from the East Coast.

The wind howled and the snow fell all night long.

The temperature dropped rapidly, and the snowflakes finally stayed on the ground as they wished.

After just one night, the snow has accumulated quite heavily. If the snow does not stop, it will get even thicker.

Carl was very cold, extremely cold. The tent was not warm, and Carl was alone.

Even on the bed, Carl could feel that the outside of his quilt was very cold, and his body temperature was not enough to warm the entire quilt.

At most, it just sticks to a small part of your body.

In fact, Carl was also looking forward to the snow. No one dislikes romance. Even if one is not a romantic person, as long as the atmosphere is strong enough, one can feel the mystery.

But now, the reality makes Carl not even have the courage to lift the quilt and get up, let alone feel the romance of the snow scene, it is too cold.

In fact, Sean came to Carl last night and asked Carl to sleep with them, but obviously, Carl did not agree.

Indeed, there was no way Carl would agree to this, to have Sean, Lori, and the other three sleep in one bed like a family of three.

How can this be!

In fact, after Carl refused, Sean suggested that he sleep with Carl or let Lori come.

But Carl refused that, too.

It has been probably three months, and Lori's belly has become visibly bigger.

Lori needed Sean to be with her, not herself.

In the absence of Rick, it is unclear whether Lori really fell in love with Sean or was just acting for the sake of it.

Lori and Sean seemed to be getting along very well and were in love, at least that's what they seemed to be.

"Hehe…"

Carl wanted to try to lift the quilt and get up, but the quilt was only slightly lifted, and the cold wind instantly poured into the bed. Carl's teeth could not help but tremble, making a crisp sound of teeth colliding.

Carl quickly covered himself tightly with the quilt. Carl felt that he needed to find a house to live in. The tent was too cold, although there was enough private space.

"Karl, why haven't you gotten up yet today?"

The tent was opened, and the cold wind blew snowflakes into the tent. Fortunately, someone quickly entered the tent and closed it again.

Sean approached Carl's bed and raised his eyebrows slightly, "Carl, are you okay?"

"Damn it, what can happen to me?"

Carl lifted the quilt and quickly took the coat beside him and put it on. The cold would only last for a while, but Sean's arrival helped Carl make up his mind.

Well, Carl doesn't want Sean to see him cowering in the bed.

"We have a fire in the camp, come with me and have a roast."

"Sean, what time is it?" Carl put on his clothes and started putting on his shoes, not having time to look at his wrist.

"It's almost eight o'clock," Sean said.

Karl nodded, put on his shoes, walked a few steps on the spot, and finally felt better.

As usual, Carl should have some bread and a box of milk, but today there was only bread and the milk was frozen.

"It's snowing on Christmas. This is a good sign." Sean said with a smile as he looked at Carl who was sitting on the bed eating bread.

"Damn it." Carl curled his lips and wanted to say that he hated snow, but when he thought of Beth, it didn't seem so annoying. It was just a little cold.

"Sean, I'm going to Hershel's house today. Don't leave any food for me at noon. In the evening, um, let's talk about it later. I'll go to his house for a meal." Carl stuffed a piece of bread into a few bites and stood up.

"Christmas should be spent with your family." Sean frowned slightly.

"Yeah, I know." Karl picked up a gift box beside the bed.

There were originally four, one was Sean's, and one was given to Glenn by Carl. Of course, he was given it to him so that he could give it to Maggie. As for the last one, keep it.

In fact, Carl took a lot of jewelry, all of which were nicely selected. He also found some gift boxes, but didn't pack them all. Well, here, the gift packaging is better than the gift itself.

Originally, Carl really wanted to help connect Moore and Daryl. Amy in the camp was a good girl, but Carl could already imagine the reactions of the two brothers when he handed the gift box to them.

Daryl would be more excited and would just throw the gift box down and yell, "Shit!"

As for Moore, Carl was stunned and thought, forget it, he wouldn't think about him anymore.

"Sean, I have to go." Carl looked at Sean.

Sean hesitated and nodded slightly.

In fact, before Sean nodded, Carl had already opened the tent. Looking outside the tent, Carl was slightly startled, then stepped out of the tent and left the camp.

The ground under his feet was somewhat soft, and the snow was already very thick. With Carl's weight, he would not sink into the ground at all, and only left behind footprints of varying depths.

Everywhere you look, it's all white, from near to far, and then from far to near, it seems as if this is the only color left in the world.

The snowflakes are still falling, without any sign of slowing down.

Carl knew that the snow would last for three days and the roads would be closed for a month.

It was very cold outside, especially with snowflakes falling on his neck. Karl couldn't help but shrink his neck and quickened his pace.

The door was closed, so Carl knocked.

The door opened and it was Maggie.

"Hey, Carl, come on in, it's cold out."

"Indeed." Carl nodded and walked into the house.

After Carl came in, Maggie quickly closed the door to block the snow from coming in.

"No milk today?" Maggie joked.

"The milk is frozen," said Carl.

"Carl, why do you know it will snow today?" Maggie asked puzzledly.

"Guessed." Carl smiled.

"Do you think I'm as easy to fool as Beth?" Maggie was very dissatisfied with Carl's answer.

Carl shrugged, "If it wasn't my guess, then was it me who asked it to go down? If I had that ability, I wouldn't be here."

"Carl." An old voice suddenly came from behind. Carl was very familiar with this voice. It was Hershel.

Carl turned around, "Herschel, what's wrong?"

"It snowed today," Hershel said.

"It's snowing." Carl nodded.

"You said yesterday it would rain today, and then it rained today," Hershel said.

"Yeah." Carl nodded.

"I know this is normal, you said it would, so it went down, or you knew it would go down, so you said it, this is normal, but what is not normal is,

Do you know how many years it has been since it snowed on Christmas in Georgia? You remind me of something." Hershel looked at Carl and asked.

"128 years," Carl said.

"What?" Hershel was stunned.

"This is the first white Christmas in Atlanta, Georgia in 128 years," Carl repeated more fully.

"Wait, Carl, how do you know it's 128 years?" Maggie asked in disbelief.

"Because I know, so I know." Carl smiled, "Can I go find Beth?"

"Carl, I don't even know the exact number of years, how do you know it so clearly?" Hershel asked with a frown.

"Can we talk about this later? Now is not the right time."

"Go ahead."
