The Villainous Family Loves Me Too Much!

Chapter 52

“From today, I appoint Lady Hailey Fenris as our Roati Company’s first official wedding planner.”

In the early operations, Hailey learned the ropes by accompanying me on three weddings. After two months, she grew proficient enough to handle weddings independently.

With Hailey, our wedding business rapidly expanded to an enormous scale, making it difficult for just the two of us planners to continue managing alone.

“Now we need to properly establish systems and start training multiple planners.”

Focused intensely on breaking into the imperial market, months had already slipped by.

Though we advertised, cultivating wedding planners proved more challenging in this world than expected.

There were several reasons for this.

First, the most crucial quality for a wedding planner here was having an innate sense to deeply understand noble ladies’ minds while grasping noble etiquette.

Since our clients were all noblemen and royals, only noble ladies could realistically become wedding planners based on those conditions.

While our wedding business was a hit among the nobility, the noble ladies showed little interest in planning others’ weddings despite being invested in their own.

‘I never imagined finding personnel would be this difficult.’

As my concerns grew, I visited Madam Huron’s dress shop to have my wedding dress altered for Alexi, to whom I had lent it.

“Were it not for you, Your Highness, I could never have dreamed of such a dress. It’s still breathtakingly beautiful.”

Seeing the gown again, Alexi spoke in awe.

“Never dreamed of such a dress… Wait a moment! Madam Huron!”

Sparked by Alexi’s words, an idea to resolve Roati’s predicament suddenly flashed in my mind.

“What kind of dresses do commoners wear for weddings? How do they hold their ceremonies?”

“Usually simple white cotton dresses. If aiming for some flair, they may embroider floral designs. There is no rule against silk or lace, but most commoners lack the financial means.”

Then this idea of mine was sure to work perfectly.

Unknowingly, an unrestrained smile had crept across my face.

“Madam Huron, would you be interested in a business venture with me?”

“A business venture, you say?”

“How about a dress rental service for commoners, in partnership with the Roati Company?”

“A dress rental service, you say…”

In this world accustomed only to tailoring and owning wedding gowns, constantly producing new ones solely for the nobility posed several business limitations.

‘The best solution to our staffing shortage is expanding the business to target commoners.’

It was also a radical approach to thoroughly erase the ‘Delfia’ name while emblazoning ‘Roati’ in everyone’s minds.

But it proved more challenging than expected.

If rumors spread of a commoner-oriented business, it could conversely deter nobles.

Moreover, the Delfia Guild wielded such formidable influence that even after its demise, ‘Delfia’ was still automatically associated with ‘weddings’.

And ironically, while the Delfia Guild raked in massive profits from the wedding business, that wasn’t entirely accurate.

Upon acquiring the Guild, examining its finances revealed most Delfia-era profits stemmed from exploitation, blackmail, and double-dealing against contracted businesses.

In the end, the Delfia Family’s lavish lifestyle derived entirely from dirty money.

So while they produced premium weddings for royals and nobles, they effectively earned no legitimate revenue from it.

The Guild’s foundations were fundamentally flawed, which I had no intention of inheriting as-is.

Though the Felosite family offered assistance after learning this, I politely declined.

“Roati is not Karena, Grandfather. Or you, Mother.”

Hence, my idea was to directly adopt the already proven modern wedding system’s revenue model.

“You mean renting out the dresses, Your Highness?”

“Provide premium bespoke services at considerably higher prices for the nobility, while allowing commoners a one-time experience of feeling ‘like nobility’ on their wedding day by renting out exquisite gowns.”

Offer premium elevated services to the affluent, while providing maximum satisfaction for others to enjoy wonderful weddings.

Simultaneously providing commoners a once-in-a-lifetime premium experience, while affording nobles a sense of elevated status under the ‘premium’ label.

“By operating separate premium and ultra-premium VIP services, clients won’t overlap or encounter each other.”

As I discussed the business with Madam Huron, the dress was re-altered to fit me once more.

Not just alterations, Madam Huron had lavished special care, adding new embellishments that made it seem an entirely new, even more beautiful dress than before.

“Wow, Madam. It’s so lovely! I wonder when I’ll get to properly wear it.”

“Whenever you begin preparing for your own wedding ceremony, Your Highness. Though you are dreadfully busy.”

Madam Huron looked regretful, but I simply smiled resignedly.

“Then I’ll see you at our next meeting, Madam.”

Bringing the reborn dress back to the palace, I decided to properly leave work for once after a long absence.

The sole reason I had lingered so long at the office:

The imperial wedding ceremony with only four months remaining.

Planning how to make it a success and infiltrate the palace.

So I had burned the midnight oil for days, wracking my brain for ideas to rapidly build up Roati in the short term.

Fortunately, I wasn’t entirely without leads.

Lorraine, this is unrelated to Her Highness, but look into the Roati Company of Felosite.

With Delfia’s downfall leaving them in a bind, there are rumors this Roati Company creates exquisite weddings unlike anything seen or heard before.

Investigate and make contact with the Roati Company.

Through the secret correspondence with Beatrice under the name Lorraine, I learned she had also obtained information on ‘Roati’.

After Delfia’s ruin, someone named ‘Roati’ had acquired the guild and was currently growing it at a rapid pace into Felosite’s largest association.

However, ‘Roati’ had yet to produce results satisfactory enough for Beatrice.

Because no previous weddings, not even those I had arranged for her as Princess, matched the caliber she expected.

‘Radical measures must be the best way to generate buzz.’

9. Roati Company

Back in my room, I stood alone in the center wearing the dress, mulling over how to proceed with the rental service.

‘But as crucial as radical measures are providing service quality befitting the name.’

While palace infiltration was the goal, being the top wedding planner from my previous life, I wanted to properly develop the business.

To do so required first understanding the brides’ romantic aspirations here.

‘Even for commoners, some may have reservations about renting previously worn gowns. Let me note that first.’

On the problem checklist’s first line, I wrote ‘Resistance to re-using worn gowns’.

‘Next… Oh right, the venue may clash. Improper TPO (time, place, occasion).’

I added the second point below.

“Ah, it’s been a while since I last saw you.”

Then I heard Lucian’s low voice from behind.
