Chapter 38: 37. After-Battle 1: Collecting Loot
Ufff in terms of time, this fight shouldn't have lasted that long, maybe just 1 and a half or 1 and 50, but it was quite mentally tiring. But once again the nature of the game surprised me, generally in games like this it's not uncommon to see characters on your side attacking or running away from attackers in disarray and consequently dying and you losing people, of course 90% of the time it's just mobs which reappear again shortly afterwards but it's still annoying when it happens, at least for me.
That's why I was very happy with their performance, of course there were some inevitable casualties, but it was against the Boss and the most elite monsters. Considering this, the performance of these mobs (without wanting to offend their sacrifice but having no better way to refer to them other than that) was quite impressive, like they even managed to take away some of the HP of a monster about 3 times stronger than them, That certainly deserves respect.
It's a shame I wouldn't be able to remember them.
"Maybe if they made a memorial and carved their names on it, that would be something to consider, right?"
But I doubt they would do that, it was a good fight but in terms of games this was still considered only the first battle would be against stronger enemies, there will be even more to come and more people will unfortunately end up dying. At least things almost always have a positive side, even more so in games and in this case it was both the large amount of exp that everyone who fought got, besides me it's obvious that it already gave me another level-up, as well as the addition of yet another "main character", Liem, even if with some obstacles.

Well, that means that instead of him being level 31 he would basically be level 15, but even so he should have been able to handle the imp/goblin equally, but after seeing that even his occupation and several of his skills were also nerfed from the to understand why he became more defensive against him. But beyond that, I also got myself a champion, which I effectively consider a main character, and her stats aren't bad at all.

Afterwards, I can finally see Sofi's status, and damn I'm not surprised, I'm because she has some skills that I didn't expect and I'm not because I couldn't see her status before so I was already expecting something like that. One unexpected thing I found was the fact that both Liem, Sofi and the goblin all have the same strategy skill, is this some prerequisite to be able to level up?
No, of course not, the imp/goblin didn't have it and he was of a higher level than the goblins and even Ivan has a level of 12 (now 14) and didn't have that ability either, so it's really just a matter of luck Are the skills you have random, except those directly linked to your occupation?
Maybe, but it doesn't matter what matters is that we repeated the goblins, we got experience even with losses, we got new staff and we even unlocked a new aspect of the game with the champions, so I don't have much to complain about. Except this all made me a little tired, I think I'll take a nap and then see the rest of the things I gained from this... I might consider it an early Divine's Journey event, right?
Ok, I think I just laid down for about 30 or 40 minutes and then I'll come back to see if there's anything else to do. Until then, take care of yourselves and don't let your guard down too much just because you won.
