The Unknown; Hellbent

Alexia yawned as she got up from her bed, did her morning stretches before proceeding to freshen up. Coming out of the bathroom, she headed straight to her walk in closet where she chose her outfit; a short black tight-fitted dress that accentuated her natural curves, she curled her hair into waves and let it fall. Applying other skincare products to her skin, she stared at herself in the mirror, once satisfied she went downstairs with a smile.

The smell of crossaints wafted her nostrils as she greeted her mom who was in the kitchen "where's dad and leon" she asked seeing they weren't there

"Leon and elesha went back to their villa, your dad went to the company to check some things" here mom explained and alexia's face twitched.

"of course its work related" she muttered sarcastically and hazel laughed at her daughter's antics.

"you naughty girl, they love the company just like you love your little webtooning career so stop whining whenever someone says company Ms Liu" her mom cooed as they were eating alone...again. Her and her mom were intentionally hidden from the public eye for their safety, well mostly her, she hardly even attended those formal business parties except some masked ones or those of close friends of her parents and that was why she could walk freely with no one recognising her as the liu heiress...which she loved..obviously.

" im going to check on the hospital today" her mom informed her to which she nodded. Her mom was a renowned doctor in their country and though her mom's hospital was now merged with her dad's company, she still occasionally went to check on it or if she was called for emergencies.

As she was helping her mom clear the dishes, she informed her that she'll be visiting Regina "ive been calling her but she isn't answering" she explained to her mom already having a bunch about what could've happened to Regina

"ok dear, make sure she's ok"

"sure thing mom" she replied. Once they were done, Hazel proceeded to prepare for work while alexia drove straight to regina's apartment. On arriving she typed in the password and entered inside, a strong smell of alcohol assaulted her nostrils " goddamnit gina, don't tell me..." she screamed but trailed when she saw regina by the kitchen counter, her head sprawled there with a bottle of alcohol in her hand "he broke up with you, didn't he?" she affirmed.

As if acknowledging her presence Regina turned to look at her, her grey eyes stared at Alexia "i thought he was the one" she whispered

Alexia sighed, getting herself comfortable on one of the chairs she looked at her dear friend "you always think they're the one...isn't this your third boyfriend this year gina" she asked exasperatedly

"dont judge a broken girl here...this one was different.."

"he really melted my heart" alexia completed her statement chuckling as gina stared daggers at her

"why are you even here, to mock me?" she asked a bit irritated

"no my dear bestie, i'm in a complicated situation myself and...unfortunately I have no one to tell but the hopeless romantic im staring at" she teased "now get up...i cant accept advice from someone who looks this wasted..freshen up will you...you'll meet another one in like a week time" she coaxed pushing her to the bathroom. While Gina was showering, Alexia decided to help her clean up and make a hangover soup.

Just as she was done Gina stepped out of the room all cleaned up "now that's more like it lover girl" Alexia teased again causing Gina to roll get eyes at her

"now what is it...i saw your missed calls and messages just now" she asked as she started drinking the soup

"well...i think..I'm in a relationship with Ezekiel Xaio" she started causing Gina to literally choke on the soup in her mouth.
