The Ultimate Divine Class

Chapter 216 Demon! Mountain! _1

BEEP BEEP BEEP—

Aboard a Fly Shuttle hovering over the quarry, at the edge of the battlefield.

Inside the temporary battle command center, a nerve-wracking tension filled the air.

Numerous people in Yellow Bear Uniforms scurried about. In a corner, a group huddled together, engaged in a heated discussion, the sound of fists pounding on a table occasionally punctuating their words.

The grating alarm persisted, increasingly provoking everyone's anxiety and irritation.

In the midst of the crowd stood a man in his forties with refined features, dressed in a Red Bear Uniform.

His broad eyebrows were tightly furrowed, his sharp, tiger-like eyes fixated on the battlefield displayed before him. His expression was taut as he listened to the reports and suggestions from those around him, simultaneously issuing a rapid stream of commands.

Suddenly—

BOOM!

The entire Fly Shuttle rocked violently. The floor beneath them swayed, and the piercing alarm blared incessantly.

Brief exclamations of surprise rippled through the Fly Shuttle. Everyone swayed, some slightly, others significantly, their movements abruptly halting.

Silence fell within the cabin. The atmosphere, however, instantly grew heavy, almost to a breaking point.

The Fly Shuttle steadied, crimson warning lights flashing as they spun.

After a few breaths, a deep voice finally spoke.

"Report the situation."

A strained voice replied, "All combat mechas are completely destroyed. The Mecha squad has suffered over forty percent casualties and has retreated. The overall integrity of the defense system is down to just eight percent... Estimated remaining time to hold them off... less than two minutes!"

HISS—

A faint gasp cut through the silence. The Red Bear with the bold brows' face twitched slightly. After a few seconds of silence, he asked slowly, "What about the Lord? Has Gold Bear Lord arrived yet?"

A voice, tinged with sudden hope, quickly responded, "We have confirmation from the Peregrine Falcons! Gold Bear Lord has arrived on the battlefield."

At this news, everyone in the Fly Shuttle seemed to revive, as if they had found their backbone once more.

The Red Bear with the bold brows hurried to the person who reported, asking urgently, "Can we contact the Lord?"

"Attempting connection... Connected!"

SWISH—

A holographic screen materialized. The audio feed was noisy, filled with a sound like howling gales.

Then, a calm voice came through the communication channel: "What is it?"

The Red Bear with the bold brows' face lit up with joy. He said hurriedly, "My Lord, we only..."

"I know. I can see," the calm voice casually interrupted.

The Red Bear blinked, then carefully asked, "My Lord, where are you now?"

This time, the voice merely replied, "Look up. Towards the sky."

Hearing this, everyone in the Fly Shuttle instinctively looked up.

The ceiling of the Fly Shuttle immediately switched to a transparent, panoramic view mode.

The sight of a clear blue sky filled their vision. In it, a black speck, glowing with a faint red light, was rapidly approaching.

The image automatically zoomed in.

The moment they got a clear look at the black speck's form, everyone's pupils contracted. Their faces showed an almost suffocating shock.

The Red Bear with the bold brows stared fixedly at the rapidly descending figure, his expression stunned. He murmured, "Truly... a Gold Bear Level Lord..."

「 」

BOOM! BOOM!

The fierce sounds of battle from the distant front lines echoed continuously.

Members of the Egersis Organization, their forms concealed by technology, stood at the battlefield's edge. They watched the unfolding scene, their expressions deeply moved.

No one in the group spoke. Even though they had personally faced that terrifying monster once before, the scene unfolding before them still filled them with an indescribable shock and awe.

"Is this the true power of a Double S-class Evil God? Terrifying. Good thing we decisively gave up on the 'Key' last time."

"The Yellow Bears painstakingly built this base, and it's almost been demolished. Are those guys still not willing to give up on the 'Key'? So stubborn..."

Someone commented with faint sarcasm, but another quickly refuted it.

"They seem to be stalling for time, waiting for the real game-changer to arrive..."

The blond-haired man leading the group was in mid-sentence when his eyes suddenly flashed. He cut himself short, saying, "He's here!"

The others had noticed it too. High in the sky, a black silhouette wreathed in faint flames was plummeting rapidly.

Before they could make out the black silhouette's exact form, it had already crashed heavily onto the battlefield.

BOOM—

An earth-shattering impact thundered. The ground beneath their feet trembled slightly, and the leaves on the surrounding plants rustled.

A small, gray mushroom cloud billowed upwards, followed by an immense plume of dust and smoke.

The terrifying force of the impact shattered nearly half the quarry's surface. The ground around the epicenter rippled like liquid before cracking apart.

A visible shockwave radiated from the mushroom cloud's origin point, quickly dissipating. Yet, even when it reached the Egersis members' position, they could still feel the sudden gust of wind.

The Egersis members, their expressions grave, stared intently at the center of the battlefield.

Finally, as the thick dust and smoke dispersed, a massive crater was revealed. Standing silently within it, as if he had fallen from the heavens like a meteorite, was a lone figure.

"Hm?!" Upon seeing the figure's appearance, the blond-haired Egersis frowned slightly.

He clearly saw the Gold Bear emblem on the left breast of the figure's uniform.
