"Alright August, would u like me to drive u to university" August mom asked
"No, mom I'm walking with the guys today" He said
"Oh, well I wouldn't want to interrupt that then" She said laughing
"Mom, I'm so glad you're better now" He said smiling
"Me too, now I can take care of my boy, what would u like for dinner today" She asked
"Uhh, how about Barbecued ribs" He asked
"Ohh, your favorite, your dad liked that stuff too, u didn't get all of your dad did u" She said squishing his cheeks and laughing
"Mom, I gotta go" He said walking out
August walked out waiting for Flynn who was running a bit late
"Hey, Flynn why so late" He asked
"Uhh, I overslept" He said
"Alright" August said
"How's your mom" Flynn asked
"She's well, she is actually doing really really well, like she was never sick" August said
"That's nice man" Flynn said
"Yo dude are u good there seems to be something up with u, and what is that huge stack of papers" August asked
"Well, ya caught me, I have to file papers for the police station now, my dad thinks I'm incapable of actually being responsible" Flynn said
"Well damn, don't you already have a job" August asked
"Yeah, but my dad doesn't trust me, he says I'll turn out like mom" Flynn said
"What's your mom like" August asked
"I don't know never met her" Flynn said

"Remember dude, if u need any help, we'll be there" August said

"No, man my dad is making me volunteer at the police station filing papers" He said holding papers up

"Thanks guys, but i don't want to put this on u two, u already have a lot going on anyway, August you and your dysfunctional family, and Rai your new powers" Flynn said

"Speaking of powers, that girl" August said
"Yeah her, we ain't even got her name" Rai said

"What the hell was that" They asked
"Huh, I don't wanna explain I didn't mean to show u guys" She said

"But, Elysia Anara Lewis, we have powers too and we really really need your help so if you could just come with us" Rai said
"I am not coming with you and you can find someone else's help, before I tell security" She said walking off

"Maybe we just gotta give her time I don't know," Flynn said
"That's what my dad said, when he was trying with my mom" August added
"Alright August, we aren't trying to smash her, we're trying to figure out some clues as to why me and you and her have powers, maybe even Flynn" Rai said
"That would be really amazing" He said
The boys walked back to the pizza shop
"So, you gotta file papes after this" Rai asked Flynn
"Yeah, my dad said so" Flynn said a little upset
"Man, we'll come back with u, but first I wanna ask my dad about my powers" August said

"I gotta get back to work guys" Flynn said
"Man I just feel so bad for him, he's literally responsible, he's just a little dumb" Rai said
"Yeah that must really suck we gotta help him out" August said

"We just wanna know who are your parents and why do you have powers" August asked

"Rai, help me out here" August said

The guys' argued amongst each other, while Elysia stood behind and laughed

"Alright, fine, I do wanna learn more about my powers maybe, learning more will help me understand them" She said

"Flynn, you're 10 minutes late, and I'm not sure why u brought your friends, and a girl" Officer Carlisle said
"Sir, we are here to help" August said sticking his hand out
"Yes, we're not about to let Flynn do this alone" Rai said
"Well, you all better get to filing" He said pointing to a stack of papers

"That's a lot" August said
"No it's not, this can be done in like three minutes" Elysia said

"All you have to do is read where the papers say to be filed at" She said grabbing a stack

"There is no way" Officer Carlisle said walking out
"How did you boys manage all of that" He said
"They didn't, I did" Elysia said
"Of course they didn't, you know if u would like a job you can have that one, and let me see, 15 an hour" He said

"Something isn't right" Rai said looking out the window
Rai looked through the window

The two ran back
"Did any of you take the knife out" She asked
"No, I've been in plenty hospitals" Rai said

After gently removing the knife, Elysia performed her reverse power on Mr. Yoo
She then stitched the wound up just right, Mr. Yoo began to cough

"Ah, my head" Mr. Yoo looked up to see Elysia still stitching him

Mr. Yoo grabbed her hand and held it
"Alright there we are" She said
"Uhm, Sir where is your sink" She asked
"It's right over there" he said tiredly

"Uhmm guys he's better now you can come in" Elysia said
"Dad, dad dad" August said hugging him

"No dad, we actually were here to ask about our powers, and we found you almost dead" He said

"Well dad, you really didn't raise me at all" He said
"Oh well I suppose you got a point" Mr. Yoo said
"Anyway dad who the fuck stabbed you" August said
"Son language, especially in front of the lady" Mr. Yoo said

"Some muggers, I told the guys I ain't had a lot, and boom knives" He said

"Dad, they could do this to another person" August said

"No, kids I can handle this myself, now I don't want you getting the nice girl all caught up in this" He said smiling
"Well, she has powers too, matter of fact they are what saved you" Rai said
"And she wants To Know More About them and her Parents too, we Figured you might Know Something" August said
"Ohhh, I. See. Now well, I do know someone who can help with that" Mr. Yoo said
"Her name is Ava Lee, and my is that woman beautiful, it's hard to get anything done when you see her" Mr. Yoo said laughing
"Dad, please be serious" August said
"Anyway, I could call her down here, I think she is in Seattle, dealing with something" He said
"As a hero I work with the Potency Handlers, it's a group of heroes who aren't necessarily on the scene, but of course if something crazy were to happen we would be there" He said
"Ohh, so when would we be able to meet this lady" Rai asked
"Probably, in a few weeks, she's busy" Mr. Yoo said
"Thanks dad" August said
"Hey dad, mom is better now, you can always stay with her and me" August said smiling
"I know son, I'm going to give it some time though" He said
"Alright dad" August said
"Bye, Mr. Yoo" They all said
"Bye kids" he said
"Uhm sorry about my dad back there, he really has a way with things" August said to Elysia
"And I'm also sorry for being rude to you earlier, I just was upset, I didn't wanna lose my dad again" He said

"But something does tell me that your dad wasn't hurt by some " muggers" She said
"By the looks of his wound no knife or at least normal knife could do something like that, that had to be the work of some professional, a villain" She said
"At his clavicle area, I noticed, a certain spiral shaped wound" She said
"Really" Rai said
"Maybe I can tell, Alder about this" He added
"All I'm saying is I may not be the only new one in this town" she said
"I hope your dad will be okay" Flynn said
"Yeah, me too" August said
"Hey Elysia your powers are real cool" Flynn said
"Perhaps maybe one day, I can save u" He said smiling
"Uh, ok, Flynn" She said
"Hey, you guys wanna go over to my place, to eat" August said
"My mom is making my favorite Barbecued ribs" He said
"Sure" they all said
"Uhh, thanks again, Elysia I shouldn't have treated you that way" He said
"I have a problem, my mom she's a villain and my dad a hero, and I was raised by her all my life, I am trying to do things my own way, I really am" He said
"Why are you ranting your life story to me" She said laughing
"I'm hungry too" She said running after the two boys
August laughed as he watched maybe he was going to be normal afterall
