The security supervisor looked at the manager with some dissatisfaction, but ultimately, rank trumps power, and to keep his job, the security captain had no choice but to wave his hand, "Everyone, go! Subdue this man first!"

In less than thirty seconds, the guards who had charged were sprawling and wailing on the ground.

"You... what are you going to do!" Manager Chen looked nervously at the approaching Ling Feng and said, "I warn you, this is a crime! We..."

Ling Feng threw a kick, "Quiet!"

With a bang, Manager Chen's head struck heavily against the wall, then his eyes rolled back, and he slumped to the ground.

With that, he took a deep breath and charged towards Ling Feng.

"Ling Feng!" Ting Yu unconsciously called out his name while in a haze, and her breathing began to stabilize.

The call from Ting Yu nearly made Ling Feng lose his composure! But, fortunately, that moment had passed.

Looking at the sleeping Ting Yu, Ling Feng's eyes revealed a complex expression.

Ting Yu smiled softly, "Although you're very strong, when it comes to love, you're a coward! Today, before I was subdued by the drug, I called your phone. I was taking a gamble that if you could save me again, I would no longer flee from my feelings, I had to confess what's in my heart to you!"

As soon as Ting Yu realized there was something wrong with the coffee, she had discreetly dialed Ling Feng's number from her pocket, which was why Ling Feng arrived so quickly and promptly.

"I had some concerns before, but when I was drugged, my biggest regret was giving up on you, and ignoring my true feelings," Ting Yu said. "Ling Feng, I like you, I really do!"

"I think our meeting is a destiny gifted to us by the heavens!" Ling Feng whispered into Ting Yu's ear, "If that's the case, we shouldn't waste this destiny. I like you, and I don't want to see you hurt! Because it would pain my heart."

Ting Yu murmured to herself, "Ling Feng... you scoundrel, I think I'll never escape your trap in this lifetime!"
