Chapter 594: Attack
After a frenzied battle, the Fire Fox Organization had also lost six warriors, and the others were more or less wounded.
"Is it you?" Silver Fox frowned.
"What? You're not happy to see me?" Miss Lan pouted and said, "If it weren't for me, Lin Chuan would have died at the hands of Ghost."
"Is Ghost dead?" Silver Fox asked anxiously.
"Most likely." Miss Lan immediately replied, "We should head straight for the lair of the Fire Butterfly now and clean them out at once."
"Hmm!" Silver Fox nodded, understanding that if they could take this opportunity to annihilate the lair of the Fire Butterfly, then even if the Fire Butterfly survived, they would likely be gravely weakened. He then immediately instructed White Fox, saying: "Notify our division in Qatar to deploy all their forces to encircle and suppress the headquarters of the Fire Butterfly, and make sure there are no slip-ups."
"Yes!" White Fox nodded.
In a villa located in the suburbs of Doha, within those high walls.
A black Land Cruiser sped in, and subsequently, the security at the villa was tightened even further. The number of guards outside nearly doubled.
Two protectors gathered the core forces at the headquarters for an urgent meeting. Ghost was seriously injured and had lost consciousness. Injuries to the chest, lower abdomen, and heart were not fatal. The dagger wounds were not fatal to Ghost, but the most lethal was the bullet to his head, which had shattered his skull on the spot. Although Ghost was still in a coma, the doctors' assessment suggested that his chances of survival were slim.
The hidden power of the Fire Fox in Doha was progressively consolidated, totaling more than two hundred people, including some peripheral irregular cavalry. Although their strength was inadequate, at least they could form a considerable number. The more people, the greater the force, especially when confronting Ghost's headquarters, which was fortified as impregnable.
Lin Chuan and Miss Lan were sitting in front in a Mercedes G-Wagon, driven by Silver Fox.
Silver Fox driving such a powerful SUV seemed somewhat out of place, but given his character, it was not unusual for him to drive such a vehicle. Behind them, there were several SUVs and a few trucks carrying over two hundred people preparing to besiege the headquarters of the Fire Butterfly.
In the nearby suburbs, the crowds had already been dispersed by Hamad. Anticipating a battle in this godforsaken place and to prevent innocent civilians from being harmed, Hamad immediately instructed the guards to disperse the nearby residents and made appropriate arrangements for them.
Upon reaching Ghost's headquarters, they had already installed machine guns on the ramparts of the enclosure. Every corner of the surrounding wall had a machine gun bunker, each hiding two machine gunners, one for shooting, one for feeding ammunition.
"It seems they were well-prepared," Lin Chuan scoffed coldly.
"This is practically a fortress," Miss Lan blinked and said, "Taking this down seems extremely difficult, right?"
Silver Fox's expression turned solemn, "Taking this down, I'm afraid many will die, right?"
Lin Chuan chuckled, "I'll first take out the machine gun bunkers on the walls. You guys follow up with a strong assault."
"Lin Chuan..." Silver Fox and Miss Lan cried out almost simultaneously, both voices carrying a hint of worry.
"Hmph!" Miss Lan glared at Silver Fox rather irritably.
Silver Fox's mouth quirked up, then he said, "Lin Chuan, can you handle it?"
"Don't worry," Lin Chuan reassured.
"I'll cover you!" Miss Lan's lips curled up, seemingly trying to emphasize her value deliberately provocatively.
"Alright," Lin Chuan nodded.
Then, Miss Lan took down the lightweight sniper rifle from her shoulder and aimed at one of the bunkers on the wall.
Bang…
A loud noise followed, and a cloud of dust burst from the bunker. The two heads inside hastily ducked down, not daring to peek out, fearing that their heads would be blown off by the sniper rifle. Once hit by the sniper rifle, death was certain. Thus, the two could only crouch in that small bunker, seemingly feeling a sense of security from it.
Lin Chuan moved swiftly, sprinting towards the wall at high speed.
Da-da-da…
At this moment, someone from another bunker spotted Lin Chuan and rapidly started shooting at him.
Lin Chuan sprinted in an 'S' shape. Bullets were whizzing close behind him. Seeing this, Miss Lan's expression turned serious, her usually playful face now displaying a stern countenance filled with murderous intent. Anyone threatening Lin Chuan's life deserved to die.
Bang bang…
Two bullets hit the bunker, instantly shaving off half a brick from it.
The machine gun in that bunker suddenly fell silent.
Lin Chuan quickly climbed the wall, one hand grappling with a steel hook that latched onto the five-meter-high wall, and swiftly climbed up. On top of the wall were rows of high-voltage electric wiring. After climbing the wall, Lin Chuan carefully squeezed through the gaps.
Da-da-da…
Inside the compound, two gunmen spotted Lin Chuan's traces and immediately started shooting without hesitation. Startled, Lin Chuan heard bullets exploding above his head, sending dust flying everywhere. He quickly rolled off the wall and landed heavily on the lawn. Staying up on the wall would surely have turned him into a sieve. Falling down was his only way to dodge.
After landing, Lin Chuan rapidly rolled on the ground.
The bullets followed close behind him.
Ka Ka…
Finally, the gunfire ceased, and Lin Chuan quickly realized his chance had come. He flipped over hastily, throwing his dagger fiercely.
Pu Chi…
Both gunmen were hit immediately; one got a dagger through the neck, while the other was stabbed in the heart. They twitched for a moment before collapsing.
Originally, Lin Chuan planned to eliminate the fortress on the wall but inadvertently fell inside the enclosure, where over two hundred people had gathered, apparently ready to tackle any Fire Fox members storming in from outside. Instead, they were accidentally encountered by Lin Chuan.
"Someone has broken in." At that moment, a black-clothed protector furiously shouted, "Take him down."
Seeing this, Lin Chuan rushed forward, rolled on the spot, and snatched up a machine gun from the ground.
Da Da Da…
Bullets rained down, and several of the two hundred warriors, who had been facing the gate, fell instantly, while others promptly ducked upon hearing the gunfire. The black-clothed protector jumped repeatedly, frantically shooting a silver revolver at Lin Chuan.
"Fuck, damn it!" Lin Chuan, holding the machine gun, continued to track and fire at the black-clothed protector.
The machine gun was heavy, usually requiring two people to operate, yet Lin Chuan managed to lift it alone and fired at the black-clothed protector. Soon enough, bullets rapidly hit the black-clothed protector, who then fell from mid-air, instantly knocked unconscious.
"Catch him!" A crowd roared angrily.
Lin Chuan, holding the machine gun, madly fired at the crowd. Bullets swept like raindrops, and while everyone else lay down not daring to get up, some shot secretly, and others followed suit. Lin Chuan hurriedly sought cover behind a column.
Bullets nearly shattered the ceramic tiles on the column's surface, and a mass of broken tiles fell to the ground.
Lin Chuan hid behind the column, barely able to raise his head due to the intense gunfire that almost barricaded him behind it. Any slight exposure of his body would likely be shattered by bullets. He constantly felt that the column could be snapped by such concentrated gunfire, so he stayed close, fearing the bullets might penetrate it.
"You few, attack from that side." A blond man with eyes closed hastily directed the team.
The black-clothed protector, holding a silver revolver, cautiously hid behind a clump of landscape plants, carefully concealing himself within. He waited for Lin Chuan to show himself, ready to blow his head off the moment he appeared.
The dense barrage of gunfire eventually died down, and soon, everyone ceased firing. On the opposite wall, tightly packed bullet holes had appeared, especially on the column, which looked almost like a beehive.
Feeling the gunfire stop, Lin Chuan immediately stood up straight, his back to the column. He swallowed nervously, holding the machine gun, and as soon as the muzzle appeared, he drew intense fire.
Plop…
Lin Chuan immediately rolled to the left.
Da Da Da…
The heavy gunfire swept towards Lin Chuan as he rolled along with the machine gun in his arms, showcasing training quality that was undeniably impressive, with strong and skilled rolling actions and barely any pause. The sequence of movements was truly breathtaking.
Eventually, Lin Chuan took a final big step and dove into the building.
"Get him!" the black-clothed protector bellowed.
Unexpectedly, Lin Chuan had charged into the hall, which was completely unacceptable. What infuriated him most was that the hall had been emptied of forces. There was no one inside. Lin Chuan alone occupied the hall, guarding a door. He lay on the floor, using the step's height advantage to shoot downwards.
Da Da Da…
Lin Chuan crawled on the floor, firing the machine gun. Bullets shot out rapidly; heavy cartridges wrapped around Lin Chuan's arm quickly depleted, and shells were ejected one after another from the chamber, the barrel nearly glowing red from the heat.
Lin Chuan, gripping the machine gun, completely suppressed the opposition's firepower. They could only stay prone, daring not to move.
Ka Ka…
One hundred and fifty bullets were swiftly spent.
"Fuck, wrong timing." Lin Chuan frowned, hurriedly put aside the machine gun, and rapidly grabbed a dagger, sprinting towards the upper floors.
"He's out of bullets now," a voice called from outside.
