Chapter 1905: Rebirth
Inside the grand hall.
Qin Jun sat upon the Supreme God's throne, playing with the black crystal formed from the negative emotions of all beings, his gaze fixed ahead.
In front of him floated several mirrors of light, reflecting images of his children.
Among them were Qin Lingming, Qin Tiancheng, Qin Bufu, Qin Tianyun, Qin Xue'er, Ruoxin, and others, all undergoing different trials.
He suddenly sensed Qin Nu appear outside the hall and spoke, "Come in."
Qin Nu quickly entered the hall and knelt behind the mirrors, respectfully kowtowing in salute.
He had now become the Primordial Fate Master God, yet before Qin Jun, his attitude remained unchanged.
"Your Majesty, I have already created a time-space hole in the void above the Origin and stabilized it. What do you wish to do next?"
Qin Nu looked up and said, glancing at the mirrors without surprise.
He knew that Qin Jun had always appeared indifferent outwardly but cared deeply for his family.
Even as he became the supreme Heavenly Emperor, he could not let go of his children.
Qin Jun smiled mysteriously and said, "I have my own plans, you will understand in time."
"When the cultivation of my children reaches the Supreme Origin Master, send them to the highest divine realm."
Qin Nu accepted the order and then quietly withdrew.
Qin Jun crushed the black crystal in his hand and absorbed it into his body.
He smiled slightly and stood up, but a split body of the Heavenly Emperor remained on the Supreme God throne.
Qin Jun arrived in the universe of the New Origin Era, walking through time and space, observing everything in each world.
After some time, he could no longer remember how long since he created the New Origin Era had passed.
Now, in the worlds of all realms, no one knew the name of Qin Jun.
As for the Heavenly Emperor.
There were too many.
With a casual glance, Qin Jun could capture tens of thousands of Heavenly Emperors from the river of fate.
Their strengths varied, and so did the forces they controlled.
If it were Qin Jun from the last Origin Era, he might have cared.
Now.
Everything seemed fleeting and tranquil.
The struggle between Primordial and Chaos continued.
His sons were also in conflict.
He did not intervene, and he let the children of the Heavenly Emperor fight because his sons and daughters should have their own lives.
They couldn't always be just children of the Heavenly Emperor.
He understood the tedium of having no goal.
Especially since he had experienced two Origin Eras.
No one was lonelier than him.
As he walked through the universes, Qin Jun sighed, "Still too lonely, too boring."
He thought he needed to create some excitement.
"Why not, I try experiencing the life of a mortal again?"
Qin Jun murmured to himself, and the more he thought about it, the more tempted he became.
Mortals, although with many troubles, also have many things to look forward to.
With this thought, he stepped onto a desolate planet.
On this planet, there were no plants and no water sources.
Qin Jun ascended, and the Heavenly Emperor's throne appeared beneath him out of thin air.
"All soldiers, heed my command." Qin Jun murmured.
As his voice fell, beams of light descended from the sky onto this barren planet.
The light dispersed, revealing figures.
Sun Wukong, Li Yuanba, Yang Jian, Luo Shixin, Kong Xuan, Roaring Sky Dog, Cundi, Arm-crossing Ape, Six-Eared Macaque, Tathāgata, and so on.
The God and Demon warriors who fought for him in the last Origin Era all appeared.
Mighty and grand, each possessing extraordinary divine power.
"Greetings to Your Majesty the Heavenly Emperor!"
They knelt in unison, their voices resonating as one.
Their expressions were calm, yet in their eyes, directed toward Qin Jun, there was a deep fervor.
The Heavenly Emperor was their faith.
Not all of them were their true forms, but transformations of their will.
At the Heavenly Emperor's call, none dared to refuse.
Qin Jun smiled and said, "I suddenly want to try being a mortal. What do you all think?"
Sun Wukong chuckled and said, "Of course, yes, Old Sun is willing to continue guarding Your Majesty."
The other God and Demon warriors all spoke out.
"I am willing too!"
"It's only fun to adventure with the Heavenly Emperor."
"Hahaha, being invincible for too long, my body's almost rusting."
"Alright, Your Majesty should reincarnate first, and we'll follow. We'll scatter in the reincarnations of all ages and seek Your Majesty together."
"Oh, you want Your Majesty to rise again from a mortal and rebuild?"
The God and Demon warriors were all excited, eager to reincarnate immediately.
They had lived through two Origin Eras, some had recovered their memories, some had not.
Regardless of whether the memories of the last Origin Era remained, Qin Jun was always the highest existence in their hearts.
Qin Jun smiled and said, "If that's the case, then I shall venture to the mortal world once more. However, I don't wish to go to Chaos or Primordial, I want to go somewhere new."
Patriarch Bodhi curiously asked, "What place?"
Qin Jun smiled without answering.
He immediately swept his right sleeve, vanishing with the God and Demon warriors.
In front of the Cold Palace.
Daji and Chang'e sat chatting under a tree.
Chang'e suddenly put down her teacup and sighed, "His Majesty still went through with it."
Daji asked, puzzled, "What did he do?"
Chang'e smiled mysteriously, "You'll know eventually. You will have a companion again."
A companion?
Daji's brow furrowed instantly.
She understood Chang'e's meaning.
But...
In this vast universe, was there really another woman who could pique His Majesty's interest?
...
Surrounded by Blue Mountains, the river flows through.
By a small brook stood a wooden cabin.
In front of the cabin, a man in black was practicing swordsmanship, his expression stern, his long hair reaching his waist, exuding the aura of a dispassionate swordsman.
Not far from him, a woman rested in a chair.
She wore simple clothing, her face beautiful, radiating a maternal glow.
Occasionally, she looked at the man in black, then at the baby in her arms, her face brimming with a happy smile.
"If only it could always be like this, how wonderful would that be."
She murmured with a smile, her eyes revealing a sense of longing.
The man in black sheathed his sword and turned to look at her, asking indulgently, "Does sitting like that tire you? Would you like to lie down inside?"
The woman shook her head and said, "I just want to watch you like this, never getting tired of it."
The corners of the man in black's mouth curled upward upon hearing this.
He continued practicing his swordsmanship, the sword wind sweeping up fallen leaves, showcasing a unique artistic flair.
Day after day, year after year.
The man in black practiced his sword every day, while his wife held their swaddled baby, watching him by the side.
The good times did not last long.
Two years later.
A white dove flew over, and the man in black retrieved a letter from its talons.
After reading the letter, his face turned grim.
The woman, holding their two-year-old son, approached and asked, "Husband, what is it?"
The man in black turned to look at her, his expression complex, and said, "I must leave."
The woman was stunned, her eyes filled with apprehension.
"Where are you going?"
"For revenge."
"Will you come back?"
"I'm not sure."
"Must you seek revenge, leaving us mother and child behind?"
Seeing his wife about to break into tears, the man in black felt a heavy heart.
With resolute eyes, he said, "An enmity as deep as the ocean must be avenged. I have wronged you both, but I will try my utmost to return to you. If I do not come back in ten years, you may remarry, and give our son a new name, especially a different last name."
After saying this, he turned and left.
Taking three strides, he leaped, and the treasured sword at his waist flew its sheath, promptly flying under his feet, carrying him over the mountains and disappearing to the other side.
