Chapter 302: Returning to Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend World
Just as those on top of the wall were about to descend to rescue the four stranded men, Eriri's words stopped them in their tracks.
"I'd advise you all not to meddle," Eriri said softly, her tone carrying an unsettling chill. "If you go down there, you'll never be able to come back up either."
Her words, though spoken gently, sent shivers down everyone's spines.
Mikasa instinctively held onto Eren, fearing he might act impulsively and leap from the wall.
By now, everyone realized why the four stranded men couldn't climb back up. It wasn't because of a malfunction in their maneuvering gear but because Eriri had intentionally rendered their devices ineffective.
The Reincarnation Squad, familiar with the burly man's character, wasn't displeased by this. In fact, Xiaoyu, who harbored a strong dislike for him, seemed quite pleased with the situation.
For Eren and his companions, however, the reasoning was incomprehensible. To them, the four men were brave garrison soldiers who stood against the Titans and deserved admiration.
"Hey! Why would you do that to them? They haven't done anything wrong!" Eren shouted at Eriri, his face full of frustration.
His outburst startled Connie, Marco, and the others who had first encountered Eriri's group.
They had witnessed the overwhelming power of her companion, Kohina, firsthand. While Eriri hadn't displayed anything as explosively destructive, her ability to manipulate others and teleport them at will made her seem even more dangerous.
"Eren, you idiot! Don't say such reckless things!" Connie hissed in fear, worried Eriri might toss them off the wall in retaliation.
Sure enough, Eriri's brow furrowed upon hearing Eren's accusatory tone.
"Do you have a death wish?" Eriri replied coldly, her voice devoid of emotion.
She didn't bother explaining her actions. If Eren had dared to utter another word, she would have throw him off the wall without hesitation, leaving him to join the four below and ensuring the Titan powers within him were permanently erased.
After all, three Titan powers had already vanished from this world. Losing two more wouldn't make much difference.
Fortunately, Eren wasn't completely foolish. With the others restraining him, he realized how dangerous his actions had been. He clamped his mouth shut and averted his gaze from Eriri, thus narrowly avoiding his demise.
Below the wall, the burly man, seeing his cries for help ignored, erupted into a frenzy of curses directed at Zixin and the others.
The approaching Titans, however, were indifferent to his fury.
As the Titans drew closer, despair filled the eyes of the burly man and his three lackeys.
If it had only been a few Titans, they might have stood a chance. But against more than twenty, they were utterly doomed.
Surviving the first Reincarnation World indicated they had some skill, but in this situation, they were powerless.
Even if they tried to flee in another direction, their speed was no match for the Titans.
The Titans quickly closed the distance. The burly man, unwilling to die without a fight, activated his maneuvering gear and charged at the leading Titan.
Despite his inferiority to Zixin in combat skills, his raw strength was considerable.
He soared behind the Titan, aiming to sever its nape. But before he could strike, an abnormal Titan with astonishing agility leaped from the side and bit off his legs below the knees.
Agonizing pain overwhelmed the burly man's senses, eliciting a blood-curdling scream. His maneuvering gear malfunctioned, sending him crashing into the back of the Titan he'd targeted.
The Titan grabbed him in one hand.
As its gaping maw loomed closer, the burly man struggled violently in its grasp, but to no avail. The Titan bit through half his body in a single chomp.
Meanwhile, the other three reincarnators met similarly gruesome fates, all devoured by the horde of Titans.
Looking at the tragic scene below, both Eren and his companions, as well as Zixin's Reincarnation Squad, felt a chill in their hearts.
This also placed immense pressure on the remaining reincarnators, as their mission required them to kill five regular Titans and one abnormal Titan.
Initially, they thought the numbers were small and the task wouldn't be difficult, but now they understood how dangerous it truly was.
At the moment the four burly men died, Eriri captured the fragments of the Lord God within them.
Leaving one fragment to create a reincarnator identity for Antilene, she had Little Skirt devour the other three.
In theory, those three fragments were worth thirty million points, but Eriri didn't have Little Skirt distribute the points, as it was unnecessary.
To Eriri, points were just numbers. Even Little Skirt herself belonged to her, let alone some points. If Eriri desired, Little Skirt could provide her with billions or even trillions of points at any time.
After watching this spectacle, Eriri decided not to stay in the Titan world any longer.
As for the six remaining reincarnators, she left them to their own devices.
Although Eriri intended for Antilene to join their team, she wanted to see their capabilities first.
If they couldn't even complete the mission in the Titan world, it would prove they weren't qualified to be Antilene's teammates, let alone undergo further training.
Two days later, Eriri, along with Kohina and Antilene, returned to the Overlord world.
During this time, they visited several unfamiliar universes. After satisfying their curiosity, they returned to the Overlord world through the world passage.
Though only a few days had passed, Antilene was now a completely different person, both in knowledge and power.
Upon returning to the Overlord world, Antilene's first act was to head to the capital of the Forest Elf Kingdom and personally eliminate the Forest Elf King.
Antilene no longer cared whether the True Dragon Lords noticed her. Her strength had reached a level beyond them. If the True Dragon Lords dared to trouble her, she wouldn't hesitate to erase them from existence.
The Forest Elf King was ecstatic upon seeing Antilene, but not because she was his biological daughter.
Just as Antilene had never regarded the Forest Elf King as her father, he had never seen her as his daughter.
To him, Antilene was merely a tool to bear strong offspring for him.
He had always harbored a twisted idea: after the Slane Theocracy fell, he would capture Antilene and force her to bear powerful children. He envisioned these children forming an invincible army to conquer the world.
Now that Antilene had appeared before him, his excitement was palpable.
However, because the Theocracy had always kept Antilene's identity hidden, the Forest Elf King was unaware that she was a being powerful enough to destroy the entire Forest Elf Kingdom.
Unable to bear the sight of the Forest Elf King's disgusting expression, Antilene struck him down without hesitation, using thunderous means to eliminate him and all the other elves present.
Killing her own biological father brought Antilene no sorrow. Instead, it felt as though a weight had been lifted from her, leaving her feeling exhilarated.
Since this massacre was entirely one-sided, it didn't attract the attention of the True Dragon Lords, sparing their lives for the time being.
After dealing with this matter, Antilene decided to head to the Saekano world to live with Eriri.
Although she had some affection for the Slane Theocracy, which had raised her, she felt no obligation to stay.
For over a century, she had never actively contributed to the Theocracy. Whether she stayed or left made no real difference.
Moreover, the Theocracy still had two other God-kin. Although they weren't as strong as she was, they were far beyond what ordinary humans could match.
With the two God-kin protecting the Theocracy, it remained the strongest human nation in the world, second only to the True Dragon Lords.
Two days later, Milim had left the Overlord world. Through the chat group, Eriri learned that Milim had returned to the Saekano world instead of traveling to other members' worlds or her own original world.
Eriri didn't visit the Arche sisters, who were still traveling between worlds. Instead, after finding Evileye in the royal capital, she brought everyone back to the Saekano world.
Because it was the weekend, the house was bustling with activity. Illya, Myu, Reina, Sakura, and Enju Aihara were seated casually on the spotless living room floor, engrossed in a popular card game.
Over the past few days, their relationships had grown closer, and they even attended school together in a lively group. With the growing number of students in the household, Miss Sayuri had arranged for five cars to transport Illya and the others to school on weekdays.
As for Aoi Kujou, she only personally chauffeured Eriri to school when she attended. At other times, Miss Sayuri assigned female drivers to handle the task. These five drivers were personally selected by Sayuri for their unwavering loyalty to the Sawamura family and their awakened superhuman abilities. However, even they were not permitted to live in the villa and could only enter the premises during pick-up and drop-off times.
Suddenly, a dimensional portal appeared a few meters from Illya and her friends, and Eriri, Kohina, Antilene, and Evileye emerged from it.
Seeing Eriri, whom they hadn't seen in days, Illya and the others immediately dropped their cards and joyfully rushed toward her.
Illya was the first to reach Eriri. She leaped into her arms and exclaimed excitedly, "Eriri-nee, you're finally back!"
Myu, following closely behind Illya, also wanted to jump into Eriri's arms. However, since Illya had beaten her to it, she stood beside her and gently pushed her shoulder.
"Illya, move over a bit! I want to hug Eriri-nee too!"
"Okay, come here!"
Hearing Myu's plea, Illya generously made room, and the two nestled into Eriri's embrace together.
"Illya, Myu, did you miss me these past few days?" Eriri asked with a warm smile, gently stroking their soft hair. Illya's silver locks and Myu's light blue hair were both so beautiful that Eriri couldn't get enough of them.
"Mm-hmm, we did!" Without a hint of shyness, both Illya and Myu eagerly admitted their feelings.
By then, Reina, Sakura, and Enju Aihara had also gathered around Eriri.
"Welcome back, Onee-chan!" Reina said cheerfully.
Sakura and Enju Aihara greeted Eriri enthusiastically as well, though they couldn't help protesting against Illya and Myu monopolizing her.
Eriri finally let go of Illya and Myu, who still clung to her reluctantly, then hugged Sakura and Enju Aihara. Lastly, she scooped Reina up into her arms.
Meanwhile, Antilene, having spent the past two days acclimating to the modern world, wasn't particularly surprised by their current surroundings. However, it was Evileye's first exposure to a modern environment, and she gazed around in amazement, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.
Before long, Aoi Kujo entered the living room, having learned of Eriri's return.
"Welcome back, milady," Aoi greeted Eriri respectfully, bowing slightly with a gentle smile on her face.
"I'm back! Oh, by the way, Aoi-san, let me introduce someone," Eriri said.
She pulled Evileye forward and introduced her with a flourish. "Ta-da! This is my newly recruited personal maid No. 3!"
Evileye, taking in Aoi's elegant appearance, curvaceous figure, and impeccable black-and-white maid uniform, quickly deduced her identity. Smiling confidently, she introduced herself.
"Hello, I'm Evileye, Ibiruai. From now on, I'll be serving as Eriri-sama's maid. Please take good care of me!
