Chapter 797 - 791: No Chance of Survival
Chapter 797: Chapter 791: No Chance of Survival
“Hiss, just like that, he won?”
Some legendary fighters were shocked in their hearts.
Although Master Cloud Divot was a legend achieved through elixirs, his strength could only be considered average among the many legendary fighters.
But no matter what, he was one of the transcendent existences who had reached the apex of trainers, his strength entirely capable of suppressing an entire country (a small one) and crushing epic beings.
One must realize that such level of fighters need not even make a move, as their mere presence is enough to support a massive thousand-year-old family. Even a first-rate Beast Control Power would not dare to provoke them lightly.
Searching their hearts, even if they faced Master Cloud Divot, they would have to fight seriously, and even a battle lasting a day and a night would be quite normal.
Yet, Master Cloud Divot had been defeated so swiftly, so utterly without the power to fight back, by a junior who was only twenty years old.
“The name ‘Dragon Subduing’ truly lives up to its reputation!” Some legendary fighters looked at David Jones and Rainbow with shock and awe in their eyes.
Even if Master Cloud Divot was somewhat careless, David Jones’s ability to casually kill Cloud Divot within three rounds indicated an absolute huge difference in strength. There was a high probability that David Jones could also defeat them instantly.
Such a powerful existence, they could no longer view him with the eyes they used for juniors!
After all, the Flowery Kingdom ultimately respects strength in this world of Beast Control.
“Such a unique type of Arcane Force, somewhat like the Power of Annihilation that Dr. Lee researched back then!” Natalie Laurie nodded slightly, her gaze filled with approval as she looked at David Jones.
Genius? Freak? Monster? Perhaps all of them! At least, in her limited few hundred years of experience, no other genius trainer could use a Class VII Overlord to crush a Class VIII Emperor and achieve such a great feat besides David Jones.
Undoubtedly, if compared to his contemporaries, even the Origin Emperor who once swept across seven countries and ended the reign of the beasts would seem slightly inferior to David Jones.
“Yi.” (Such a weak Class VIII Emperor.)
Rainbow chirped softly as its body quickly reduced in size until it was perched on the trainer’s wrist.
“You couldn’t even properly warm up Rainbow, and you call yourself a legendary fighter?”
David Jones brushed his Flood Dragon Wristwatch with his right hand, looking calmly at Master Cloud Divot.
Master Cloud Divot’s brain went blank, and he seemed unable to stand steadily, stepping back several paces.
At this moment, without even looking around, he could faintly sense the disdain and laughter of the other powerful beings surrounding him.
How could this be possible!
Why was the gap so wide?
The opponent’s Contract Beast was clearly just a Class VII Flood Dragon!
Master Cloud Divot’s chest heaved intensely, unable to calm the turmoil within him.
At that moment, David Jones’s voice rang out again.
“If you’re weak, then just train more. A true powerhouse doesn’t need to rely on age and seniority to be superior to others.”
“Facts have proven that you cannot even defeat a Class VI King trainer. Maybe it is you who is audacious, masquerading as a Legendary Deity.”
“According to the laws of the Federation of Trainer Guild, impersonating a Deity with repeated offences is punishable by death!” David Jones said calmly.
I
Impersonating a Deity?
What kind of joke is that, I am a legendary fighter certified by the Federation of Trainer Guild!
Upon hearing this, the veins on Master Cloud Divot’s arms bulged like coiled dragons, and even his knuckles turned pale from clenching too hard.
However, when strength was inferior to others, anything said was superfluous, and could even provoke laughter from the crowd.
Seeing Master Cloud Divot remain silent, his face aging ten years in the blink of an eye, David Jones did not further add insult to injury, turning instead to walk towards Natalie Laurie.
After this battle, Master Cloud Divot lost face completely, and there was no need to add insult to injury in front of the crowd.
That would’ve just soiled his own feet.
Seeing the battle come to an end, the Sky-Coloring Luan on Natalie Laurie’s shoulder flapped its wings.
…
As a shift in the skies unfolded, the legendary powerhouses watching the commotion each returned to their spots, while David Jones joined Natalie Laurie and her two companions in the Rosewood College office.
“A Normal Arcane Force Value of thirty million, with an aura rivaling that of an Emperor Dragon. Has Rainbow successfully evolved?”
Natalie Laurie’s gaze shifted back and forth between Rainbow and David Jones.
“Yeah, with Miss Tracy’s help, the evolution was a success,” David Jones nodded slightly, his tone tinged with a hint of regret.
“Unfortunately, after evolving, Rainbow’s Species Level is barely that of a Quasi-Emperor. It still has some way to go to reach that of an Emperor Dragon.”
Virgil Harvey and his two companions: “???”
Did they hear that wrong?
Although the Trainer Guild didn’t have a concept for Quasi-Emperor Species, they could quite understand what it meant.
In David Jones’s eyes, a Class VII Flood Dragon that could defeat a Class VIII Emperor was merely a Quasi-Emperor Species.
That’s really damn outrageous. By that standard, wouldn’t the Emperor Species they had contracted not even count as Overlords!
Nero Harvey couldn’t help but curse in his heart.
The young people of today really knew how to act tough!
“So, did Rainbow gain control of Annihilation type Arcane Force after its evolution?” Natalie Laurie got straight to the point, her tone incredulous.
She had once come into contact with the Power of Annihilation developed by Dr. Lee and even attempted to breed Annihilation type pets.
Unfortunately, not one pet under her command could manage even a touch of the Power of Annihilation, let alone control it.
Feeling the focused gazes of the three great powerhouses on him, David Jones had no intention of hiding anything.
Times had changed, and he was no longer the training genius who feared revealing his pet’s information; he was now a truly powerful trainer.
And all of this was due to the surge in strength and confidence Rainbow and his other pets gave him.
“The Power of Annihilation is too terrifying. Rainbow has only barely mastered the lesser Power of Annihilation.”
To say or not to say, if Rainbow really could control the Power of Annihilation, its Species Level after evolution would be at least that of an Ultimate Emperor, and it might even rival or surpass those of the Immortal Divine Beasts that only exist in legends.
But no worries, the Annihilation Dragon Element could be refined by consuming Pet Resources. Once the eighteenth refinement is complete, Rainbow could evolve into a Destruction Emperor Dragon.
Then, even if he encountered a Deity-class powerhouse, he might well win the fight with Rainbow’s power!
Upon hearing this, a hint of surprise flashed through the eyes of Virgil Harvey and his companions.
Without having full control of the Power of Annihilation yet, Rainbow could easily defeat a Class VIII Emperor Dragon.
If Rainbow could grow to fully control the Power of Annihilation, coupled with the assistance of a reincarnated divine beast, wouldn’t David Jones be qualified to compete for the rank of the strongest Deity in the Flowery Kingdom!
Thinking this over, Virgil Harvey and the others looked at David Jones with a shifted gaze once more.
However, more than this, they were concerned whether David Jones and Tracy Harvey had made any progress on unlocking the evolution path of the Destruction Tyrant Dragon.
After witnessing Rainbow’s might, if a feasible evolutionary path for the Destruction Tyrant Dragon were to come up, they wouldn’t hesitate to invest everything in cultivating their very own destructive Dragon Pet.
“I’m afraid that’s not possible,” David Jones revealed a troubled look on his face: “The prerequisite conditions for evolving the Destruction Tyrant Dragon are too harsh, and Rainbow’s success was mainly due to its unique constitution, talents, and a slight affinity with the Power of Annihilation.”
Rainbow is special!
If it weren’t for the ample support of Dragon-Wielding power and Dragon Crystals behind it, other Pureblood Flood Dragons would face certain death if they rashly attempted to undergo a Destruction Tyrant Dragon evolution.
