THE STRONGEST CREATURE OF THE BEAST PIRATES

Chapter 93: CHAPTER 93

Despite the heavy blow to his pride, Trafalgar Law's composure remained intact, a testament to his unshakable will. Quickly accepting the harsh reality, he resolved to endure.

Law silently vowed to himself, "Five years. I'll obey this man's orders for five years. By then, I'll surpass him and break free from his control—just as I escaped from Doflamingo's grasp back then."

Alastor, true to his word, demanded Law's heart using the Ope Ope no Mi ability. Reluctantly, Law extracted his heart and handed it over.

"Captain!"

The Heart Pirates rushed to his side, tears streaming down their faces. They knew their captain had made this choice for their sake.

"If Captain wanted to, he could have escaped alone with his powers," Bepo choked out, his voice trembling. "But he stayed... for us."

Alastor held Law's heart with a casual air, tossing it lightly as if testing its weight and warmth. He regarded it with fascination.

"This ability of yours is quite remarkable," Alastor remarked. "To remove a person's heart without killing them or even significantly weakening them—it's truly unique."

"Hey!" Bepo cried out, stepping forward. "Don't handle the captain's heart so carelessly! What if it drops or—"

Alastor's amused gaze silenced Bepo, who yelped and darted behind Shachi and Penguin for cover.

Alastor shook his head. "Relax. I have no intention of harming your captain's heart—provided you all behave. If you do well, I might even return it earlier than planned."

"Really?" Bepo peered out nervously.

"Of course." Alastor tucked the heart safely away and turned to Law. "Now then, do you know why I've sought you out?"

Law's sharp eyes narrowed. The question hit on a mystery that had been troubling him since this man appeared.

He was just a newcomer to the New World, one of the so-called Worst Generation. Compared to the Four Emperors and their elite officers, he was nothing more than a fledgling pirate.

Even more puzzling, Law had told no one of his plans to eventually oppose Kaido.

"Why?" Law asked bluntly.

"Because your powers can manipulate the battlefield in ways no one else can," Alastor explained, his tone matter-of-fact. "You can teleport allies and enemies, save lives on the brink of death, and even dismantle defenses. Soon, a war will erupt that will shake the entire world. I plan to use that chaos to secure my position and weaken future rivals. Your abilities will make that possible."

Law's body stiffened. He knew exactly what Alastor was referring to.

The execution of Portgas D. Ace.

It had been announced to the world, and anyone with insight into global politics could see the storm brewing. Whitebeard, the world's strongest pirate, would never sit idly by while his "son" was executed.

Rumors were spreading like wildfire. The Navy was mobilizing 100,000 elite troops, while Whitebeard was rallying his forces and allies—over 60,000 strong. The clash between these two titans would be unprecedented, a spectacle of unimaginable carnage.

Law had considered observing the war from the relative safety of the sea floor aboard his submarine. He lacked the strength to directly participate in such a colossal conflict.

But Alastor had other plans.

Law's gaze flickered with a mix of curiosity and unease. If a Beast Pirates officer like Alastor intended to join the fray, what role did Kaido's crew hope to play?

"Your goal... is Doflamingo?" Law asked cautiously.

Alastor's smirk widened as they ascended a hill where two women awaited. Viola and Rebecca stood together, their expressions resolute.

Rebecca, now free from her enslavement to Doflamingo, offered a polite nod. Viola explained that they had been working against Doflamingo in secret, waiting for the right moment to strike.

This revelation stunned Law. Doflamingo, the man responsible for so much suffering, was also Alastor's target.

"But why?" Law pressed. "Isn't Doflamingo one of Kaido's most valuable allies? Their SMILE trade—"

"Kaido values the SMILE trade," Alastor interrupted. "I do not. Doflamingo is a snake. His presence is a liability. I'll eliminate him when the time is right."

Law's mind raced. This went against everything he had assumed about Kaido's organization. For Alastor to act against Doflamingo, even secretly, meant he was either operating outside Kaido's knowledge or preparing for a shift in power.

"Don't overthink it," Alastor said with a faint chuckle. "For now, focus on the tasks I assign you. Doflamingo's downfall will come, and with far less effort on your part than you imagined."

Viola nodded solemnly. "The man who brought Dressrosa to ruin will face his retribution. That much is certain."

Law glanced between Alastor and Viola. A bitter smile tugged at his lips.

He had spent years plotting Doflamingo's demise, driven by his promise to Corazon. Yet here was a man with the strength to accomplish it effortlessly.

For the first time in years, Law felt his heavy burden lighten—if only slightly.

The people saved by Trafalgar Law on the island—those who should have perished—owed their lives to his Ope Ope no Mi abilities. By replacing their lost limbs with animal ones through his surgical expertise, Law gave them a second chance at life. Grateful for his help, these individuals willingly pledged their loyalty to him.

Initially, Law had intended to use them for his own plans. But with those plans now rendered obsolete, he decided to leave them under Viola's command, where they could still serve a purpose.

"Then I'm off. Goodbye," Law said, preparing to leave.

"Wait!" A determined voice called out, halting him.

Rebecca stepped forward, her expression resolute. "If you're going to work for Brother Alastor, let me come with you!"

Rebecca, having recently consumed the artificial Green Dragon Fruit, was eager to hone her newfound strength. She wanted to prove herself and master the overwhelming power coursing through her body.

Law hesitated but ultimately replied with a calm warning: "There might be dangers ahead."

Rebecca's determination didn't falter. "I can protect myself," she said firmly.

With a slight nod of acknowledgment, Law allowed her to join him. Together, they boarded the submarine, setting sail for their destination—the mysterious Baron of the Stomach, an island teeming with ferocious creatures and deadly flora.

---

Alastor had tasked Law with eliminating the threats on the Baron of the Stomach island, a location rich in resources. To aid the mission, he had amassed and stored a large supply of food for sustenance during the battles.

Using the Ope Ope no Mi, Law could compress and transport the food efficiently, making him an invaluable asset for logistical support. This preparation was part of Alastor's broader strategy for the imminent war at Marineford, where he planned to use the chaos to his advantage.

Meanwhile, Yamato played her own crucial role in these preparations. Alastor returned to the Flower Capital to check on her progress as the new Shogun of Wano.

Under Yamato's leadership, Wano had begun to flourish. The once-chaotic administration was now streamlined, with trusted advisors aiding her governance. The funds Alastor had brought back were being used effectively to rebuild the nation.

When Alastor arrived at the Shogun's mansion, he found Yamato diligently working on official documents, a stark contrast to her earlier struggles in managing Wano's affairs.

"Finally done!" Yamato stretched with relief, her kimono tightening slightly as she moved. She turned to see Alastor and broke into a delighted smile.

"You're back!"

"Yes," Alastor replied, stepping closer.

Yamato leaned into him, resting her head against his chest. The moment was serene, a rare break from their usual chaos. Alastor gently brushed her cheek, admiring her determination and strength.

After a brief pause, he suggested, "You've been working hard. Why not relax in the hot springs? The one here in the capital is excellent."

Yamato's eyes lit up with curiosity. "Really? But it's so late. Is it even open?"

"Leave that to me," Alastor said with a smirk.

The streets of the Flower Capital were quiet as Alastor and Yamato made their way to the bathhouse. To avoid drawing attention, they moved stealthily, eventually leaping over the bathhouse walls to enter unnoticed.

The bathhouse was indeed closed, but Alastor, having used his Observation Haki to confirm it was empty, reassured Yamato.

Excited by the spontaneity, Yamato jumped into the hot spring, the warm water immediately relaxing her. "This feels amazing!" she exclaimed, her voice echoing slightly.

The steam enveloped her, and as her clothes clung to her, she prepared to fully immerse herself. She turned to see Alastor still standing at the edge of the spring.

"Aren't you going to the men's side?" she asked, tilting her head in confusion.

Alastor, calm and composed, stepped into the water and replied matter-of-factly, "Why? This is a mixed bath."

Yamato's face turned red, a mix of embarrassment and amusement flashing across her expression. Despite the unexpected situation, she decided to enjoy the moment, laughing softly as she sank deeper into the soothing waters.
