THE STRONGEST CREATURE OF THE BEAST PIRATES

Chapter 118: CHAPTER 118

The redhead's face darkened.

Does this crazy Kaido really intend to fight him to the death? Was he truly unconcerned about turning the New World upside down? Did he not care about the consequences?

Hateful!

To be honest, the red hair had never faced Kaido in such a manner before. As one of the Four Emperors, he wasn't challenging an old emperor like Whitebeard—he was now at a level recognized by the World Government. The title "Four Emperors" referred to the four pirates considered the most threatening by the world, with Kaido being one of the most fearsome figures.

It had only been four years since the red hair rose to become a Four Emperor himself. His most notable achievement was his duel with Hawkeye.

Thus, this marked the first time he fully experienced the power of the old Four Emperors, a brief confrontation with Whitebeard notwithstanding.

Though the red hair wanted to preserve his strength and make his way to the top of the battlefield, he couldn't withstand the overwhelming coercion Kaido unleashed.

He had no choice but to activate his Conqueror's Haki and Armament Haki, coating his sword, Griffin, and clashing against Kaido.

Rumble!

The entire island trembled violently, and the ground for hundreds of meters was blown away. The shockwaves caused towering waves to explode across the surrounding sea.

This was a battle between the pinnacle powers of the Four Emperors!

As the earth-shattering clash subsided, two figures emerged from the center of the explosion.

The redhead panted heavily, blood dripping from his shoulders down his arms, staining his palm as he clung tightly to Griffin.

On Kaido's side, there was a deep gash across his chest, with blood seeping out.

Both had sustained injuries, but Kaido's resilience made the damage negligible for him. For the red hair, however, the injuries were severe.

If this battle of attrition continued, the red hair would eventually succumb. His durability wasn't on the same level as Kaido's, and his stamina couldn't compete with the endurance of the strongest creature.

To avoid being overwhelmed by the aftermath of their clash, the battles of the other participants had to be fought far from their positions.

However, everyone in the Red-Haired Pirates remained fixated on the battle between their captain and Kaido. Only if the red hair won or gained the upper hand could they hope to end this war they didn't wish to fight.

But reality wasn't aligning with their hopes.

Though the red hair could match Kaido's strength, he couldn't seem to gain a definitive advantage.

Beckman, observing from afar, was acutely aware that such a stalemate couldn't be maintained indefinitely.

"At this rate, the red hair won't be able to last," Beckman thought, his concern growing.

Kaido's endurance was simply too overwhelming. His resilience as a creature surpassing human limits made it difficult for anyone to outlast him.

"No," Beckman decided. "I have to help Shanks, or this war will never end."

But his opponent was Yamato, who had also mastered Conqueror's Haki. Even someone as formidable as Beckman couldn't defeat her easily, especially given Yamato's newfound strength and her Devil Fruit ability—Mythical Zoan, Haki—which enhanced her combat prowess.

"I'll advise you to focus," Yamato's voice rang out coldly. "I won't hold back!"

Before Beckman could respond, Yamato transformed into a massive white snake and rushed toward him at blinding speed.

"Divine Foot: White Snake Drive!"

Faced with Yamato's relentless assault, Beckman could only brace himself, abandoning any thoughts of assisting Shanks.

On the other side, Page One was overjoyed, having finally escaped from his sister, Ulti, who had nagged him relentlessly.

Ulti's fiery and domineering nature had prevented him from participating in the battle alongside "Brother Alastor."

However, ever since Alastor had told Page One to believe in hard work, Page One had become inspired to train diligently. His days were now consumed by rigorous physical training and Haki practice.

Eventually, Page One realized his body had grown stronger—Ulti's usual beatings didn't hurt as much anymore.

"Hey, I'll show Brother Alastor the results of my training! One day, I'll be as strong as him!" Page One declared confidently.

Determined to prove himself, he approached a powerful-looking cadre from the Red-Haired Pirates, the fierce and imposing Roaring Gabu.

Gabu sneered, glaring down at Page One. "A boy who hasn't even grown facial hair? You're too tender for me to bother with."

But Page One wasn't fazed. "I heard everyone in your crew has bounties around a billion. Selling you to the Navy would make quite the fortune."

Gabu's face twisted in fury. "What did you say?!"

Angered by the insult, Roaring Gabu snarled, "Since you're looking for death, don't blame me for bullying children!"

Page One's smile widened. "Bring it on!"

Gabu charged at Page One, his fists slamming down with ferocious force.

"Roar!"

With a powerful roar, Page One transformed into his Human-Beast form, ready to face Gabu head-on.

Gabu quickly realized he had underestimated the boy before him. Page One was rough and tough, his fists striking like a wall of solid muscle.

"It's interesting, but it's not enough!" Gabu growled. "You're not the only one who can roar! Let me show you my roar!"

Gabu's signature attack was his Roaring Shockwave, a destructive technique where he unleashed a powerful shockwave from his mouth.

He opened his ferocious jaws, unleashing a thick wave of energy.

Page One sensed the incoming danger but didn't flinch. Instead, he clenched his fists tightly, his muscles flexing, swelling with strength. He turned his back to Gabu, showcasing his powerful physique.

As an Ancient Spinyback Fruit user, Page One's back was his strongest asset. Coupled with his Armament Haki, his back became an impenetrable wall of steel.

"The Thornback Wall!"

Page One's sturdy physique and hardened Haki allowed him to withstand Gabu's Roaring Shockwave with ease.

Gabu stood there, stunned by the sight of Page One's resilience.

Meanwhile, in Marineford…

Alastor, still unaware of the progress made by his younger brothers, was now facing off against the relentless Garp.

Garp, fueled by his anger over Ace's death and Luffy's near-death, was unleashing his devastating Iron Fist strikes, each blow filled with the might of a Navy hero.

Alastor was injured but maintained his composure, a faint smirk on his face.

"You bastard! What are you laughing at?!" Garp roared, his frustration boiling over.

"I'm laughing at an old man who's strong but can't protect his family, who's powerless to act," Alastor mocked, his voice cutting through Garp's fury.

Garp's face turned red with rage. "The old man has his justice!" Garp bellowed, his fists raining down once more.

However, Alastor remained calm, sensing the voices of Blackbeard and his crew nearby. His eyes narrowed as he watched Whitebeard battling Akainu, determined to prevent Blackbeard from seizing Whitebeard's power.

Alastor smirked. "With me here, things won't play out like they did in the original."

Spotting Blackbeard and his crew advancing, Alastor knew it was the perfect moment to act.

Boom!

With unmatched speed, Alastor dodged Garp's attack and taunted, "Blackbeard Marshall D. Teach, do you want to feel the taste of flying?"

Blackbeard, caught off guard, realized too late as a lightning-fast kick sent him soaring through the air.

"Ah! What's happening?!" Blackbeard screamed, his confusion growing.

Alastor followed with a brutal punch, crashing Blackbeard's face into the ground.

As Blackbeard fell, he realized the war on the top had gifted him more than he could have hoped for. His plan to capture Ace had led to the outbreak of the top war, a divine intervention that perfectly aligned with his ambitions.
