"Let's rest here first." Inside the cave, Barseagle inspected the place with his red irises.

The night had fallen, and they didn't have a choice but to continue their mission the next day. It was far more dangerous at night than day because stronger demon beasts and those big predators began to move. Those weren't something a true vampire or even a high vampire could deal with.

Kate and Liz leaned on the wall of the cave. The cold moisture in the air and the fresh scene made the two women relax their nerves.

"Ian, how strong are you now after eating so many wild beasts?" Daniel asked whilst trying to remove the rocks on the ground so he could sit.

"I don't know. I haven't thoroughly digested them yet. The improvements could be seen tomorrow." Ian answered casually with a shrug.

In the cave, there was only the sound of flowing water and the occasional flickering light bugs. The sharp long rocks hanging on the ceiling of the cave made it dangerous to move too much.

Just like that, Ian watched his captain and the others began to close their eyes and sleep. The two women were huddled together. Daniel was lying on the ground without care while Barseagle sat cross-legged on the ground with his eyes shut like a monk in meditation.

Ian made sure they were asleep before he walked out of the cave. 'Time to customize my body again... What should I add this time? A tail perhaps or a kagune like in Tokyo Ghoul?'
