The Speed Of The Stars

Days have gone by since the gum tape deathmatch with Silverwolf. A clear afternoon. Beidou is headed home from running an errand in her R32 When she notices a Sky Blue Toyota GT86 Pulled over to the side with its hazards flashing away.

Beidou notices this and pulls over. Beidou then steps out and looks at the GT86

Beidou stares at the GT86 for a bit "Look at that. A GT86! And it even has a Rocket Bunny Wide Body Kit!"

As she approaches the car someone then speaks "Oh Hey! Sorry if i trouble you. I got a flat, and i don't have a spare tire. Maybe you have one of those tire plug kits?"

Beidou was startled a little "Oh! Yeah i do, its in my car. I'll just get i-"

As Beidou turns towards her car. She recognizes a girl with Blue hair 

Beidou's eyes widen "Eula!?"

Eula's eyes widen "Beidou!?"

The two stare at each other for some time. The two of them were friends for a long time. The two were friends back in their youth at Ritou. They were separated when Beidou moved to the town of Yougou.

Eula then shakes Beidou's hands "Beidou! How's it been? Its been forever since we saw each other!"

Beidou smiles Putting a hand behind her neck "Eula, Its been great! I was just out doing an errand for a buddy of mine"

Eula blushes a little putting a hand behind her back "Yeah.. Sorry if we meet at at such circumstances"

Beidou waves her hand "No, no! It's alright! I'll grab my tire repair kit in my car"

As Beidou walks towards her R32. Eula notices Beidou's team sticker on the rear windshield 

Her eyes narrow, speaking in her mind "Speedsuns.. Maybe she might know a thing or two about that Eight Six" 

Beidou grabs the tire repair kit from her Trunk and walks over to Eula. "So Which tire has a puncture?"

Eula walks Beidou to the flat tire. "Its in the Rear Right. I noticed that the rear was vibrating a lot, so i pulled over when it got worse" 

Beidou looks at the tire "Huh. Thankfully the tire is intact. It's a good thing you pulled over when you got the chance to."

Eula laughs "Yeah, Its a good thing it didn't shred itself to bits" 

Beidou works on the tire "Sweet ride you got here. You race?"

Eula looks left and right "No. I merely tinker on cars just for my pleasure"

Beidou smirks and giggles a little "Hah, I get it. I do that sometimes. But i race in the mountain passes of Yougou"

Eula raises an eyebrow "Oh? You race?"

Beidou nods as she plugs the hole on the tire "Yeah. If you didn't notice the rear window, i have my team sticker there. I'm their leader"

Eula crosses her arms "Yeah. I noticed it."

Beidou finishes up fixing the tire and stands up "All Done, Should be able to last you as long as it needs to."

Eula puts her hands together "Awesome! Thanks for helping out Beidou!. Here's my cell number. Maybe we can, grab a coffee and catch up?"

Beidou gives her a thumbs up "Sounds like a plan. Hey. It's good to see you again Eula."

Eula Looks at Beidou "Good to see you too Beidou."

The two go their own ways. Beidou drives off headed back for town.

The following morning Beidou fills in everyone else about her encounter with an old friend

March leans forward near Beidou "You are kidding? Your old friend drives a tricked out GT86? With a rocket bunny kit?"

Beidou nods "Yup. We plan on catching up tomorrow. See what's what.

Seele leans against her Devil Z "Where?"

Beidou raises an eyebrow "Don't know why you are interested. But Somewhere near Amakane."

Pela rubs her chin slightly "Can we meet her? Can we see her?"

Beidou narrows her eyes "No.. Its a catch up between two old buddies"

March puts her hands together "Pretty please Beidou? We wanna meet her!"

Beidou shakes her head "No can do March. Maybe next time!"

As Beidou walks away. Seele Takes Collei, March and Pela away behind The Devil Z

Seele hatches a plan and smirks "How about we follow her Tomorrow? See what this "old buddy" looks like?"

March Winks "Sounds like a plan Seele!"

Pela Gives an enthusiastic thumbs up "Count me In!"

Collei gives off a face of disapproval "And what do we tell Beidou if we get caught?"

Seele winks at Collei and smirks "Don't worry about it! we wont get caught!"

The next day, Beidou drives to a café at Amakane to meet up with Eula They are currently at an expressway. With March's supra tailing her at a distance, they cant take any other car as, Pela's MR2 is a two seater. And Collei's dad is using the eight six for errands.

March loosely grips the wheel "Hehe gotta keep a low profile!"

Seele puts her elbow by the window and looks at everyone "You know, Beidou's the type to overreact or over-exaggerate things there's this one time, when she just moved to Yougou . We both went fishing at Lake Yougou to get to know each other. The fish aren't that big in the lake. So when we caught a small one. She overreacted to it "LOOK AT THAT FISH!" Everyone nearby looked like us like we are mentally insane" 

Beidou looks at her rear view and immediately recognizes March's supra

Beidou sighs "Those idiots. Heh." 

Beidou eases of the gas to let them go side by side.

Pela laughs "Haha! Didn't know Beidou was like that!

As March, Seele And Pela laugh off. Collei's eyes suddenly widen from the thing she's seeing

She then grabs Everyone's attention. "Umm guys. we have company!"

March then looks to her left and spots an annoyed Beidou

March's eyes widen "oh Crap! We were so focused on the story, we completely to focus on the road!"

Collei facepalms "No, you forgotten to pay attention to the road March."

At the Amakane Cafe. March bows and puts her hands together "I'm so sorry Beidou! Our curiosity got the better of us! Please Forgive us!

Beidou sighs but accepts it "Its alright. I'll introduce her to you guys. But after that. You better parts ways with us for the time being."

March's eyes light up "Awesome! Thanks Beidou!.

Right on cue. Girl with blue hair walks up to Beidou.

Beidou then signals Eula to look at her friends "Hey Eula. I want you to meet a couple of my Buddies from my team"

Eula elegantly waves at them "Hey there! My name's Eula Lawrence. Nice to meet you all"

Everyone stares at Eula, Looking at how elegant she looks

Beidou then turns to Eula "Come on Eula, Lets head inside."

Beidou and Eula then walk inside the cafe. Beidou then waves her hand to shoo away everyone else before heading inside the cafe. 

Seele then looks at the rest of her friends. "Say. Since were in Amakane. Why dont we head for Amakane Pass?

March's eyes sparkle "Great Plan! Lets also remove the Targa top! Gotta make use of the clear skies above!"

March then removes the Roof of her supra and places it inside the trunk. Everyone then hops in the supra and drive off to Amakane Pass. Beidou and Eula are now settling in to their seats

Beidou scratches her chin a little. "So Eula. Gotta ask you. You don't race at all?

Eula giggles "No, I typically like modifying my cars to my liking. I Race them here and there but mostly on Events at circuits. If not. I display them on Car Shows around the Pass Or At Parking areas.

She then places her hands on the table "So, You said you race yourself at Yougou Right?

Beidou smiles "Yeah. I run a racing team there. Those buddies you saw a while ago were members of my team. One of them being Honorary member.

Eula raises her eyebrow slightly. "Honorary?"

Beidou smirks. "Yeah. She doesn't belong to any team. But if there's a challenger from outside that is out of our League. She races on behalf of everyone at Yougou. Almost like the Lone Knight."

Eula then thinks in her mind. "It's got to be the eight six"

She then smiles "Oh, Really? That sounds awesome! Nice to hear that someone really cares for their territory and the team that is based there!"

At Amakane Pass.

March observes the road ahead "Man, Is it just me or these roads are very curvy and narrow?"

Seele leans forwards "Yeah, There's alot of corners in this pass. Very tricky to handle for someone with no knowledge. Almost like you need a Rally Co-Driver to race here"

Pela Nods "Yeah. But i wonder who holds the time record here? I bet they're very talented.

Back at the café. Beidou and Eula receives their food and drinks

Eula takes a sip of coffee "So Beidou. What's it like being a street racer yourself?

Beidou smiles "Well. Being a street racer, you do your best to set the best time around your home turf. Accept any challenge from outsiders. And protect your territory."

At a local gas station at Amakane. Seele, Collei, Pela and March were just informed by a gas boy about the fastest car in Amakane.

Seele raises an eyebrow "A GT86?

The gas boy nods "Yep, A Sky Blue GT86 holds the fastest time around here. And here's the crazy part. The driver has a co-driver. Almost like rally style"

Pela spits a bit of coffee out "A Co-Driver? But why need it!?"

The gas boy explains "In Amakane pass, There's too many corners too close at each other. So to be safe, She runs with a co-driver who knows this pass, even with her eyes closed, and can tell when to start drifting just from engine noise alone."

March then turns to Seele. "So what's a GT86?"

Seele explains "A GT86 is the Successor to The AE86. Its built with a collaboration with Subaru. Like Collei's AE86. The GT86 is An affordable sports car with many modification potentials. And like The AE86. Its light with not alot of power"

Pela scratches her head a little "But still. The fastest racer here is a GT86."

The gas boy finishes up filling up March's supra "You can catch her on The pass every night But if you plan on challenging her to a race. I'd reconsider your choices she's still unbeaten here. and even the best of the best locals here cant beat her."

Back at the cafe. Beidou and Eula finish up their drinks 

Eula raises an eyebrow slightly "So, Beidou. If i were to be a Street racer. What car you'd prefer?

Beidou touches her chin a little "What kind of style are you thinking? Grip Or Drift?

Eula looks up to think "I'd think drift"

Beidou then winks at her "Then your GT86 is perfect! I dont know what kind of modifications you are running under the hood But like my buddies Eight six. Your GT86 is a great choice to start your drifting experience."

Eula's eyes narrow she speaks her mind. "So that eight six is the "Honorary member of the Speed suns. Very very interesting"

She then straightens out. "Really? That's awesome!"

Moments later They step out of the Café.

Eula shakes hands with Beidou. "Its really nice to catch up with you again Beidou. Till next time

Beidou waves at Eula as she walks back to her car "Till next time Eula!"

As they part ways. Beidou walks to her R32 Only to hear a familiar sound roar from behind her

Beidou looks behind "Look who it is. Its the spies."

Everyone steps out of March's supra 

March notices Beidou. "Oh hey Beidou. We're just gonna grab a cup of coffee here. Hope you don't mind.

Beidou nods and smiles "Oh. Its no big deal. I was about to heat to Amakane Pass and see the locals there anyways.

Seele smiles "Oh alright. We'll take our coffee's to go then. We'll follow along.

Moments later the group grabs their coffee and head off to Amakane Pass to see the locals and the racing scene up there. The group convoys up to Amakane Pass.
