Run Rabbit Run
Chapter 32 : Run Rabbit Run
Meanwhile, outside the restaurant, Stefan's gaze fell upon the hooded figure lurking in the shadows. "Are you here for me," he inquired coolly, "or the people inside the restaurant?"
The hooded figure remained silent, it's gaze fixed intently on Stefan. Its eyes, shadowed beneath the hood, conveyed a grave intensity. Not a word escaped it's lips as the tension between them grew palpable, the seriousness of the moment hanging heavily in the air.
Stefan chuckled, a hint of amusement in his voice. "So it's the person inside the restaurant," he said casually. "Well then, I'll take my leave." With that, he turned away nonchalantly, as if the encounter were of little consequence.
The hooded figure made no move to stop Stefan, simply standing still and watching him with a penetrating gaze.
Remained motionless, its presence a silent testament to the gravity of the situation, as Stefan walked away without a backward glance. The figure's unwavering eyes followed him until he disappeared from sight, the atmosphere heavy with unspoken tension.
The hooded figure quietly entered the restaurant it then strode purposefully towards Gary and Robert, saying nothing yet emanating an unsettling aura. Its cold, unblinking eyes bore into the two men, their blank expression adding to the discomfort in the air.
Robert stared at the hooded figure with a mix of confusion and fear etched across his face.
"Who the fuck are yo--"
Without warning, the hooded figure surged forward with lightning speed. It's blade flashed in a vicious arc, slicing through Robert's throat with a sickening crunch. Blood gushed from the gaping wound, splattering across the floor in a gruesome display. Robert's eyes widened in horror as he clutched his neck, desperately trying to stem the torrent of blood pouring from his throat.
Gary's hands trembled as he backed away, pulling out his gun with shaking determination. Without hesitation, he opened fire on the hooded figure, the sharp cracks of gunfire echoing through the restaurant. But to Gary's astonishment, the hooded figure deflected each bullet with astonishing speed, using only the blade in it's hand to swat them away like flies.
Amidst the chaos, the sound of footsteps thundered from above as Robert's men stormed into the restaurant's basement. Armed with bats and knives, they encircled the hooded figure with a menacing aura, their faces contorted with rage and adrenaline.
The atmosphere crackled with tension as the hooded figure stood calmly amidst the onslaught, his eyes cold and calculating. Surrounded on all sides, he remained eerily composed, a silent threat amid the escalating violence.
Gary stared in horror as Robert lay drowning in his own blood. "ROBERT!" Gary shouted, his voice trembling with worry.
As Robert's men approached the hooded figure, they were met with a gruesome and swift demise. The hooded figure effortlessly killed each of them, stabbing their necks, heads, and eyes. It slashed their faces and bodies, spilling their guts with no effort. The sound of screams and the stench of blood filled the air as Gary watched in terror.
Gary's hands, still clutching his gun, trembled as he pointed it at the hooded figure. His face was smeared with blood, and his eyes were wide with fear. The hooded figure continued to slaughter Robert's men, its movements swift and merciless. In a matter of minutes, all ten men lay lifeless on the ground, their bodies mangled and mutilated.
The hooded figure turned its attention to Robert, who was still alive but twitching and bleeding profusely from his neck. The figure walked towards Robert, its eyes fixed on him with an unnerving intensity. Gary, still frozen in fear, managed to muster the courage to shoot at the hooded figure. However, the figure dodged the bullet with ease and retaliated by slicing off Gary's hands.
Gary stumbled backward, crying out in agony as he rolled on the ground, clutching his severed hands. The hooded figure approached Robert once more, its eyes gleaming with a malevolent intensity. It stabbed Robert's back repeatedly, causing him to writhe in agony.
Consumed by fear and pain, shook uncontrollably, Gary's eyes streaming with tears. He was unable to move, unable to escape the horror unfolding before him. The hooded figure continued to torment Robert, its actions a testament to its unrelenting brutality.
The hooded figure paused, it's knife dripping with Robert's blood. It Stared at the crimson blade for a moment, then with a flick of the wrist, sent it hurtling towards Gary's head. The sharp metal found its mark, piercing his skull with a sickening crunch.
The once pristine restaurant was now a scene of unimaginable carnage. Blood and viscera covered every surface, the air thick with the stench of death. Dismembered limbs and shredded organs littered the floor, a macabre tableau of violence and brutality.
Unfazed by the carnage it had wrought, the hooded figure made its way to the restaurant's bathroom. It turned on the faucet, watching as the water ran red with the blood of it's victims.
Methodically, it scrubbed every inch of its body, removing every last trace of the grisly deed.
With a final glance in the mirror, the hooded figure exited the bathroom, it's clothes and hands clean, as if nothing had happened.
The hooded figure calmly walked out of the restaurant, leaving behind a scene of unimaginable horror, its footsteps the only sound in the eerie silence.
